Hi! I am a fan of the mineshaft rabbithole. To fit my game better and to simulate the difference in luck in a workday, I tweaked the file so that every mining session give you a random number between a BCON tunnable min and max value(ie. instead of 18 irons, you'd get between 15 and 18).I remembered that one of your plan for the (far away) future was rabbitholes, so I was wondering if you would be interested in looking at my modified BHAV file.Ofc by your policy, I won't distribute it elsewhere.
We love a BCON tunable object. Rabbits holes are actually on the release schedule soon as I finish the post and charts, BUT they function in a much different way than the mining shaft, which will not be included in the rabbit holes since it's a very focused one.
The mining shaft having some variability is a great idea though! So yes, we'd be interested in looking at what work you've done. The mining set itself is due for an update (to repo things for more optimization, fix child labor issues, etc) so giving the mineshaft a refresh as well would be a great update!

Why in the world is the documentation in .doc and not .txt? Sincerely, someone who had to spend an hour downloading LibreOffice just to read the vitally-important documentation for Barnyard Bash.
You should be using the manuals in the Google Docs folder for all most up to date information and instruction, nothing else. Even if it is an old doc in a zip, which to be honest probably got left in there on accident. It is my impression that everyone has access to the Google Docs folder with no need for anything else.
Our sets come with detailed charts and such which are not able to be made in a .txt file, thus why we have chosen to go the Google Docs route.

Hi I hope I’m not a bother but i am having a few issues with barnyard bash specifically, i have downloaded all the requirements for it, however whenever i try to fill in the the trough there’s no option to fill it with water or hay? Only to reserve trough? I’ve used this mod with UC, no issues. I’m wondering if it’s an issue with the legacy collection, I’m a bit confused if I’m honest.
This may be a Legacy issue, especially if you're familiar with the mod and have used it before and it's working fine otherwise.
Only think I can think of otherwise is a social class trait/inventory tool/lack of food/water in inventory issue?
Our team, nor our beta testers use Legacy. We all have original discs with no disc cracks or have UC. To be honestly, most things are not going to be made or "fixed" with Legacy in mind.

I've just started using your Fishing suite. As preparation I had a Sim collect worms from the hog's rooting spot. He had over 200 worms in his inventory. But when he went to fish, there was (repeatedly, even after he went to do something else) a message saying that he couldn't fish without worms. What am I doing wrong, please?
Sorry for late reply, real life had to be tended to.
Is your lot a residential business? If so, the worms have to be in the Business Owners inventory for ALL playable sims trying to fish on the lot. This is a little bit of left over old code oversight that is on the list to be fixed so it points to individual sims' inventories, not just the business owner.

(Dalish) Tea & Coffee - Mini fixes
There were some small issues with (Dalish) Tea mostly relating to compressorization (or lack thereof). The main archives have been updated with these fixes and a mini archive with just these files has been made available for your convenience.
Changelog
The Tea and Coffee fields can now be picked up again once placed
Fixed some duplicate BHAV instances in the Elfroot tea beverage, preventing it from being compressorized
Optimized the Tea notepad and fixed some issues preventing it from being compressorized

Archery - Bugfix - May 23 2025
After last update fixed excessive off-lot bows, it unfortunately broke the station in a different way: the reason for this way the "remove off-lot bows" BHAV would run way too many times (namely: every time a sim creates a bow), causing errors. This update fixes this by moving this BHAV to a separate DEBUG interaction accessible via entering the boolprop (boolprop testincheatsenabled true), then shift-clicking the station and selecting the DEBUG option. This is a bit more difficult for people experiencing crazy amount of off-lot bows but prevents the stations from erroring out after the initial clearing of bows. You just need to do it once per lot and that's it.
Update instructions:
Replace the old files with the new ones. Files modified: all archery stations

Potions Aplenty - Bugfixes & Improvements - May 23 2025
First up in bugfixes: Potions Aplenty.
Changelog:
Improvements to the Dutch and Portuguese localization
Typo fixes
Updated the manual
Fixed some issues with "Order supplies" giving the wrong number of some supplies
Fixed issues with stocking honey and iron shavings
Resolved errors in mysterious potion
The void draught dropped the hunger motive so far down that Sims would just straight up die. This should now only happen if a sim is quite hungry to begin with
Fixed some mismatched text in "Report on stocked ingredients"
fixed a mismatch in required ingredients for Plague's Wrath
Restored the option to choose the AL fire effects for players with that expansion installed (set the value in BCON 0x100D to 1. Players without AL will get a BG-compatible fire effect regardless of whether this option is enabled or not)

Replace all files especially the Potion Bench, Reference Tome and Potions.

As you all know, I've basically stopped using "realistic" textures in my medieval Sims 2 game. But I wanted to keep using Sun and Moon's incredible pieces. This is the first step towards me being able to do that: 30 recolours of Sun and Moon's Cask Shelf. (And, thus, everything repoed to it.)
30 colours, taken from @pooklet's Naturals, @withlovefromsimtown's Neural Network colours, and @puppycrowrecolours 's palette. Full swatch under the cut.
Also, the Tonberry was caged by a professional. Don't try this at home, kids.

I (Frac) have gone ahead and reuploaded the files completely fresh onto the site and that seems to work. The affected files that have been pointed out to me so far have been ones that were uploaded around the time SFS was doing maintenance and some made it through and some did not.

i downloaded every mod on this, i want to smoke meat but only gives me option for drying meat,
i have fire mod but i cant seem to create fire or cant find fire stations on buy or build mode. and how do i snoke meat what do i put under the smoking rack? any links on how to build a smoke house?
All the information you are looking for is found in the Preservation Practices, All Fired Up, and The Giving Tree threads/posts. We will not cherry pick this information out for you. Please go re-read the main threads on the Keep which have all the answers.
For example, it clearly states this in the All Fired Up thread: All items can be found in the Buy catalog under Hobbies -> Miscellaneous Visible in Hood view. Set is Compressorized. Collection File included.
On the topic of smoking meat, you only need to add a bundle of firewood to a sim's inventory to activate smoking of meat if you have the right amount of it already for drying. There is nothing else needed and no structure needs to be built.

Hello, I would like to ask your permission to make conversions of your Chicken Coop from the Counting Your Chickens set for the Sims 4 and upload them to my Patreon page (for free of course).
Please do not convert these items to TS4, thank you. They were optimized polycount wise and texture wise to fit with TS2.
If you are interested in the original mesh source, the chicken coop itself came from TS3.

what's wrong with the spice grinder ?
I harvested cinnamon , vanilla ,cocoa ,garlic and chilli but every time I use the grinder nothing works and they don't end up in my inventory
I did due diligence and just checked this in game, especially since a small update just went out. Have your grabbed the update? The spices are converting fine per my test.
Is your sim running a business? If that sim/lot is running a business, no matter which sim grinds it will go into the business owner’s inventory. This is intended code in older stations that have yet to be upgraded to the Crafting Points system.
