anyways headcanon time

-jonah likes to make people laugh. seeing others smile when he did something brought joy to him, it brought purpose to his life.

-hes sensitive, yes, but that doesnt mean anything to him. it just means that hes human and has emotions more than others. this does cause him to be a very heavy empath.

-even though jonah did try to bring smiles to peoples faces, he wasn't okay with being treated like a stupid kid. he wasn't stupid or a kid and got pissed if anyone treated him like a fragile flower.

-if he needed or wanted to, he knew when to be smart and when to mature in situations.

-he is really smart, graduated high school as a valedictorian and went to college to major in computer science. but because of the alternates, he was kicked out of his college dorm since he wasn't needed there anymore, all of his college funds went to waste.

-began taking and selling drugs from an old friend of his who used to do computer science with him, he became very depressed his his life, he had never wanted this. (soon his friend was caught selling him to, friend was sent in jail but he did community service because of a lawyer, which sent him into major debt.)

-no one would accept or offer up jobs to him, every job he tried to go to would see his past with drugs and automatically slam the door in his face.

-ran into sarah one day, he was friends with her through high school but lost contact with her during his college year. she talked to him about their paranormal society, how they couldnt find much tech they could use and anything they did get their hands on was bad since the police were lowkey on their tails. so jonah joined to help them.

-when jonah was met with his opportunity, he promised never to look back at his past again, to just keep looking towards the future and to smile and cherish this chance.

-after meeting adam, he felt drawn to his personality, seeing his old self in adam and wanting to help him smile, like how the chance that adam gave him did.

-jonah still does some drugs or vapes or smokes, it doesn't bring him joy but makes him feel even more guilty. he cant stop it though. hes too addictied to the high feeling he gets from it.

-very big money spender, sarah and adam often get mad at him for buying useless things for himself or for others.

-acts on implusive very often, doesnt let his brain lead him but his feelings are mostly in control of his body which doesnt help him a lot. he get overwhelmed often by everything his feels.

-he still dreams about being a computer scientist. the tech he helps to hack and make for ghosthunting brings him some joy, but hes secretly saving a stash to continue college. (doesnt work as he always spends it when adam needs money.)

ADAM MURRAY HEAD-CANONS ! ✦ . ⁺

I wanna uh um drop my adam hcs 😋😋 hmu if u want jonah hcs or jonah and adam dynamic hcs (not shipping) (or maybe other characters from tmc)

-growing up he wasn’t exactly an “alternate” ,, instead of six replacing him he was “reborn” (as seen as the lamb in vol, 5) meaning he was still him/human, just different somehow

-the alternate transformation really started when he was around 18-20 when he major “personality changes” began (as said my evelin, ‘he used to be a good guy before his personality switched’)

-adam still had trouble with human emotions before this though, empathy was a really big problem for him and he practiced for hours in the mirror replicating human features, emotions, and movements

-when he does feel human emotions, it comes in giant big waves, either he feels nothing or he feels everything.

-he doesn’t feel any kind of romantic ability at all, he misunderstands it though and thinks he does, but he is truly incapable of romantic love

-he confuses admiration, especially those who are so very human, with love, which is why when evelin asked him to date he said yes … sordy guys not an eve x adam shipper and honestly I don’t ship any characters 😞

-took a psychology class in college, his teacher was really really interested him him (not in that way.) and wanted to diagnose him, he was mis”diagnosed” with stuff

-he doesn’t actually need to eat anything, which is good to him because it saves money. typically he chews gum to act like he’s eating, but he hates digesting food

-he seeks thrill, getting excited, scared, and/or having his heart jump out his throat makes him feel alive, since most of the time he feels dead, like a corpse.

-adams features are very inhumane, if you look at him too long you’ll notice the cracks, the odd wrinkles in his skin, things where they don’t belong. some “friends” have joked around with him, saying that after hanging out, they’d see him around their houses, or thinks he’s watching.

-he’s too much of an alternate to be human, but he’s too human to be an alternate.
