I just had the most MIND-BOGGLING nightmare of all time..which might have just been a migrane

I dont remember much, but I recall seeing sans standing near gaster and then getting killed by someone? Tried to draw what I could remember

It was all on repeat, I see sans, he gets slashed, hits to black, repeat.

It was manageable until it started hurting ME. The slash started to spread onto the whole screen as if covering my head. It became a migrane. Everything became darker (lol). It was agonizing pain and discomfort, CONSTANTLY popping back into my head no matter how hard i tried to stop it.

Of course, the pain managed to die down after I took a painkiller and threw up twice..

But after waking up again, I started understanding how cool that was???? And that it kind of stuck to canon (kind of..)

So yeah thats it.

Wait a damn second. I think I'm cooking.

We all know that at the start of the game, we are given a vessel.

The person guiding our choices is (theorized to be) gaster. Since the text matches his way of speaking.

But before we get our creation, it is suddenly discarded

Since the text font changed, it's probably not gaster talking to us. Many theorize it might be Chara who discarded our vessel.

But i suspect it might be the knight.

Hear me out. The knight is presumed to be December Holiday, due to the resemblance and baseball shaped weapon.

Kris works for the knight, but we dont know who the knight works for or what their motive is.

Except we do.

The four secret bosses -

Jevil and Spamton have somehow interacted with gaster. They worked for him.

Until Spamton was cut off and left with nothing, and Jevil driven insane by knowledge he couldn't comprehend.

The old man probably didn't know gaster, as the other two searched for something more or bigger. The old man was just a memory, him being a lightner initially.

That leaves us with the knight. The knight isn't in shambles, isn't insane and is definitely still well known in the dark worlds.

This means that the knight is still working for gaster. They are still of use to him. They are reliable for any task and fight. They are trustworthy.

Unlike Spamton and Jevil, who couldn't handle a job like that.

But.. why would December want to work for gaster?

Revenge.

"Lost where the forest would grow, the children followed the pointed tail."

The tail is connected to FRIEND.

The Tail of Hell mentioned in the prophecy is made of balls. The tail of hell is likely to be the same "tail" that “the children” followed.

December, Kris and Noelle followed the devils tail. Something happened to December when they did, which left the town in despair from her disappearance.

Something so scary or unimaginable that left Noelle and Kris scarred for life.

Noelle couldn't even mention her sisters name without crying. So, being the kind of person who gets scared easily wasn't the best pick for revenge.

Dess decided to get Kris's help instead since they were more closed off and quiet and up for revenge.

Kris agrees to the revenge plan, due to the conflict between their parents, and something to do with asgore being at fault, maybe him being the cheif of police and letting the incident happen in the first place. (or something to do with trucks..)

December followed the tail, got lost, turned into the knight, and is now seeking revenge. By working for gaster, December might get close enough to strike the blow on him, ending everything.

So if Kris and December somehow defeated the culprit (FRIEND or Gaster)

Everything would go back to normal, December could go home, and Kris would have a functioning family again.

Then what about the vessel being discarded?

For their plan to work, I believe the knight would have to replace the vessel with Kris.

Since the soul is very important to gaster, having a vessel and constantly following it would be hard to do, especially in secret.

But with Kris being like a vessel, they could always have an eye on the soul. Which would eventually lead them straight to gaster, where they can both finally inact revenge.

And the knight could do this easily, since they're very powerful and loyally work for gaster, they could sneak this in without him suspecting anything bad.

"Banish the ANGELS HEAVEN." Make the player leave the game.

If the player is good and wants to stop the rumbling (maybe even defeat gaster) to get a "good ending," then they would voluntarily leave the game.

But if the player takes the weird route, then Kris, the knight and heck, maybe even Susie and Ralsei, would have to Banish the player forcefully.

This would lead to a good outcome either way. Leaving the town and the people in it safe from danger.

Since the knight and Kris dont know our true intentions and what we plan to do, they can't be too sure whether trust us or not. So they stick with their plan.

But hey, that's just a theory.
