Hello! I'm PLM med aspirant here. I took nmat last october and unfortunately, i got a low score 65 (had stomach ache for the whole exam seriously) Do you think i still have chance?(medtech board passer with good gwa but not from big school) I know i still have but i'm confused because i already want to study med next year and my target is PLM. But i still have to consider that if i retake nmat and get revenge.. I mean get higher score, i'll have higher chance right? Advice please ! Thanks!

TBH, I do not really know how they rank applicants in PLM because the requirements are your college grades, MCAT and NMAT of above 40. The NMAT score of above 40 gives PLM a wide range of applicants but of course higher scores mean higher chances of getting accepted. Given that you have all the requirements and are already a license holder, I think you could apply. Wait until the third list of applicants is released. I have classmates who did not do  very in NMAT but they currently place in the Top 10 of our batch so do not lose hope :)

Hello po, ate. Gusto ko po sanang pumasok sa plm med school (like u) Eh kaso po diba may certain required units na dapat ma-take sa undergrad na degree? Paano po kapag hindi ko yun kumpleto at madami talagang kulang :( Btw, BS Psych po course ko and I'm from PLM din :) Should I shift na po ba to other course para di ko na problemahin yung mga units na yun? Or will plm give considerations? Since im from the institution too. Huhu, thank you and sorry po *paranoid*

Hi! I also took additional classes (Human Anatomy and Physiology) to complete the required units. You do not have to shift courses. I’ve had classmates who are from PLM Psych and they did very well in med school :)
