So this has been a tough semester. It's felt like a relentless grind a lot of the time. Things seem to be in flux, I guess they always do at times like this. Time and schedule has splintered my social circle, I feel distant from those I once considered close and don't know how to cross that distance. Those who have remained close I've dragged closer, trying to make up for what I lack in any way I can. It's not been fair on them. I've put the burden of 5 or 6 people on the shoulders of two. It's not fair to expect one person to fill the role of 4. I think I've come to understand anxiety, the sting of adrenaline jackknifing it's way into your heart, that panicked edge in your thoughts and breathing. I understand it more than I have before. I want to end this rant on some sort of positive note, I really would. Alas I can't really think of one at a time like this. (at Calderwood)
