literally sherlock and jim are soulmates like jim spends 20 years trying to impress sherlock the only way he knows how and it’s honestly so tragic because he had to fill the “evil” role since sherlock was already the “good” one and he knew if he was on the “good” side too he wouldnt challenge sherlock and they couldnt have their intellectual battle aka the only thing either of them truly needed like i cant deal with this i hate this show
