Hiatus.

Im taking a break, A long break. I have many things to work on, and very little motivation to do so. I was thinking maybe if I let everyone on my socials know, I could be able to lay back and feel more relieved. This way I can work more on my OCs, Writings, Illustrations, and such. Also, there is more improvement to come with my art. And I feel like I need to spend time just myself, and my art. I'll be back with a possibly whole rehashed art style. I may be back sometime after new years. Thank you all so much for the support in the meantime!

Something big coming up!

So, I know I HAVE NOT BEEN POSTING MUCH! And I have a good reason why! Im working on Reference sheets for all my OCs! This INCLUDES redesigning them! So, Im putting my all into these reference sheets in hopes to finalize (hopefully) each of their designs for good! I know some of my designs from my last batch of Reference sheets was rushed, and the designs were falling off here and there. BUT I TAKE MORE PRIDE IN MY WORK THAN THAT! So I'm working hard to improve ALL of them. and give them all a more unique appeal to each of them! For context the Old references of my OCS: https://www.deviantart.com/sutibunsagebunnu/gallery/92464431/reference-sheets Characters like Alexandrea, Burnette (Formerly Bernnett, I'm going to spell her name differently on her new ref and from now on) , maybe Agent, and William need BIG GLOW UPS! If your an artist, you would imagine the PURE THOUGHT it will take to improve all of these characters! So be patient with me! I'm also looking forward to joining Art fight next year! Which admittedly is why Im pushing a bit hard to get them all better designs! I want people to have more option and FUN when drawing my characters! With all that said, Have a couple sneak peaks on what I've been up too!

I brought back some OLD design choices I had made WAY BACK when I first made this character. One of these being his crystalized hair!

I changed one of my characters species completely (Well, sorta) I can't wait to present this one's new design, because it just looks SO MUCH BETTER than it did a while back! Definitely a more interesting look!

A glow up on one of the characters I mentioned earlier that would NEED ONE! Im sure if you look at the old references, you'll know EXACTLY who this is!

NOW ALL THAT ASIDE! I hope you see and understand what I've been up to! I'll still try to post side drawings and such! But as of lately, I've been VERY busy with these! I care about my OCs a LOT, And I just want them to have the amazing thoughtful designs they deserve!

SMILE!

ABOMINATHAN CAT!? AND BRENNAN DOG!?

So, I wanted to draw a Nathan Kitty (Like a Cat that looks like Nathan)... And then my Boyfriend suggested Brennan being a DOG, So I got this idea and had to draw it! They're just so adorable! Hahaha

I had fun with this personally! Biggest struggles was trying to stay true to the characters, but I am a SUCKER for fun redesigning!

BRENNAN STRUGGLE: Sucks Brennan doesn't have a Ref sheet, woulda made all this a WHOLE LOT easier, Instead I had to pull from various frames of him that didn't have any tinted lighting or shading! One thing I also struggled with would be his HANDS, I wanted PAWS, But I ALSO wanted good ol grippers! So I had to give him thick fingers like paws, but NOT too much like paws to avoid anything looking weird! His body shape also had me in shambles, but I think I did alright overall! I decided Brennan would be a Poodle because the way the species looked just kinda suited him, between his hair, and his personality even! I know you can argue with me that Poodles are more depicted with the upclass, rich people personality. However I PERSONALLY still always adored the idea of a shy, nervous, Poodle! The way the dog looks just works for it somehow!

SQUARE HEAD NATHAN: As for Nathan, My BIGGEST problem was dealing with his face... His original Design just was NOT built for this kinda tinkering, which made my ACCURATE ASS struggle PLENTY while altering his design to fit an animalistic head! However, I found out a way to give him the muzzle in the end, so were all good! I decided for him, based on the OTHER art style he's drawn in (Typically his very defined curly hair), I thought it would be nice to make him a CURLY haired Cat. So I looked up a Curly haired Cat and got a few good options! The one I settled on for him though, THE ONE THAT CAUGHT MY EYE, Was the LaPerm Cat! It's super Curly but to a point it almost looks mangy and tattered, Unclean if you will! And I thought this was PURRFECT for Nathan!

CHARACTERS CREDIT: "Who are these characters?" you may ask, if you've read all the way through and have NO IDEA what your looking at! Well, I've been a TAD BIT interested in this (Supposedly) Canceled comic ABOMINATHAN! It has a full Volume 1, And Volume 2 hasn't finished its production since 2019! Id personally go check it out, despite it not being touched in so long, and having discovered it long after its been left alone (2023)! I took a personal liking to the comic! And It sucks we didn't get more, I definitely would've enjoyed to see more build up with the students!

DAPPER BOYS!

I just wanted to dress them up! (Been working on this for way longer than i should've-) I know Boyfriends hat and shoes don't match his outfit, But hear me out! One, they're so signature, AND TWO I thought it'd be funny if he likes them so much, he can NOT take them off, or he'd feel "Poorly dressed". Just think it would be a funny concept. Haha

Also, made some extras! Probably WHY this took so long, but eh, It was WORTH IT! There's some SLIGHTLY suggestive stuff for both of them. But it's Friday Night Funkin, so chill out.

MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!

I'm gonna post my Friend birthday collab tomorrow! Look out for it, Were going camping! And it's gonna be a BIG ONE!

Me and my BF got in a little convo, and remembered these two bois! heheh

Pretty happy with how this came out! Though, Picos hips a bit large compared to Boyfriends... But whatever. HE'S A BAD BITCH, Who cares! haha

It's my 2 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳 I DID NOT REALIZE MY BLOG TURNED 2 YEARS OLD WHILE I WAS GONE- That's crazy, I've had this pointless account for that long. Haha

JAX SHEET

TOOK ME A BIT- But I decided when I was colouring this, that I was going to give it a more RETRO look! And I'm GLAD I did!

There was a LOT more concepting than I originally expected with this piece... for example I have two sketch sheets that I used to Light board this into existence... And one of them has a Maid Jax, which I decided against putting in for... Reasons (Nothing bad, Just didn't feel like putting him in. He's just holding his skirt down blushing a lot nervously, almost embarrassed).

And second, there's another headshot of him in another sheet. that one showing an ANGRY Jax, which i chose against adding, and replaced with the new headshot. The one that looks like he's spacing out next to the Little Jax looking at his tail.

Also, the one with the middle finger wasn't originally supposed to have such intense shading. But I went with it after fucking up his eye, and shading the yellow part like it was his pupil. Also the Censor bar wasn't always there. I was debating if it'd be too hard or not, but ultimately put it there anyways, and tested my skill!

Another fun fact, the Red retro shapes weren't originally gonna be there. It was an almost Last minute add! And the background also wasn't gonna have that light dull yellow over it. I added it thinking the plain white wasn't doing well with the retro shapes!

And there's few OTHER changes I did in the process of lining on certain doodles. Some of them actually moved spots too. And the one with the peace sign... Yeah, that one was flipped when it hit the Light board for final sketching!

the other one that changed during final sketching would be the one with his cheek pressed, On the ORIGINAL sketch of him, he was going to be laying down, But I decided to make more space, i was just going to lean him on the side of the paper, behind the Walking/posing one! (I GENUINELY have no idea what I was doing with the poses, but I love each and every one of them!

OVERALL Im VERY proud of this drawing! I haven't been THIS proud of a traditional drawing in A LONG TIME! But here we are!
