Today, I'm grateful for -
1. A lovely laundry-drying day. Always a relief to get two or three loads done! Gawd, I really am an actual grown up......When did this happen??
2. Knowing I only have two more farm shifts to go. It's a shame, but it's just how it's worked out.
3. A calmer, brighter mood. Feeling more like myself!

Yay for an altogether positive day.
I'm grateful for -
1. Being offered a new job. Further from home, and less hours. But I'm not complaining!
2. Meeting a local couple for bike rides. Met them for the first time this morning, on a 25 miler.
3. A good day for fitness, nutrition (more freebie dandelion leaves for my fabulous salad) and general wellbeing 😁
This morning's workout was day one of the strength programme I chose on the Les Mills fitness app.
I've a few health issues that I need to work around, but I do not use anything as an excuse not to train!

Today, I'm grateful for -
1. Deciding to get up and go to work for a double pay extra shift. More so, as I left after only a couple of hours yesterday. Bad day. Had to come home.
2. On a related topic, I'm very grateful for a better day in general. I'm ok. "Nothing can destroy me without my permission".
3. A successful sauerkraut! Lovely. Cabbage and salt. Have to love that simplicity, for such a good result!

Today. I really NEED to be grateful for -
1. A few wonderful days by the sea.
2. An early morning splash in the waves.
3. The experience of washing my hair outside, using cold water. Two hits of cold water exposure in one day!
A couple of days ago, I said I needed a break. I've spent these last few days here, which anyone would consider a break. It has been wonderful. But I've been in a really bad state with the emotional stress triggered physical symptoms. I've come to realise that it doesn't seem to matter where I am, or what I'm doing, those symptoms refuse to take a break. Ugh.
So tomorrow I'm forcing myself to take a full break. No walking, no tracking, no fast window timing, no pics no scrapbook posting. Just spend the day like we all did years ago.

Today's gratitude three -
1. A really great day in general. Lots of outdoor activity, including a short but fabulous workout before setting off in the motorhome for four days.
2. An afternoon paddle in the shoreline. Wonderful!
3. A gorgeous, sunny day. That made an already good day even better!
I decided to take advantage of a discount, and got going with the Les Mills app this morning.
Just a short Combat blast. Fab. Then a much needed meditation. I've been struggling with a few different things recently, so I am going to focus on all aspects of my health. It's not just about jumping up and down, and get lots of exercise. Gotta take care of our poor, stressed brains as well!

Three things to be grateful for, on another tough work day.
1. Breaktime outside in glorious sunshine, then another outdoor meal back at home. First time in my egg chair this year! Yay for that.
2. Looking forward to a few days away in the motorhome. Lovely weather forecast, and we will be close to the sea. Perfect.
3. Finally relaxing after a very busy day! Not only at work, but then getting everything organised and packed for tomorrow.

Today, more than most (huge symptom flare up during the last several days) I need to focus on those things I'm grateful for -
1. A few minutes of fun during my work day. The stress of this job is the cause of my state of health right now, I'm almost certain).
2. Cracking open, chopping and freezing the three fresh coconuts I had ordered online. It was a pain in the butt kind of job, so I was very glad to get it done.
3. A new favourite - smoked mackerel 🤩. Had some with a handful of prawns with cooked veggies, ground paprika and a handful of fresh mint for dinner. Delicious.
I started the day with a client training session at 6am, before heading off to work. Always worth getting up even earlier than usual!

Today's gratitude three -
1. An outdoor workout! Oh, that felt great 😁
2. Grocery day, with plenty of good stuff!
3. A good, active day. Lots of time out in the fabulous fresh air 😁
I went for a job interview this afternoon. Had to turn it down, because the shifts didn't fit right. Never mind. I will find something soon enough.
It was nice to have a lovely cappuccino with my own breakfast. I kept going back and forth over going there this morning, but I'm glad I got up early and got out the door! A bit of "me time".
Yet another new app trial for that workout, after getting home. A good mix of cardio and resistance, which is always a great way to train, and one I use from time to time.

Gotta keep moving, gotta keep fighting, gotta keep smiling!
Today, I'm grateful for -
1. My "no quit" mentality (most of the time. Not doing so good for a few reasons right now, but I always give the best that I have!
2. Getting a few tasks completed, including getting a fresh batch of liquorice root sticks in the oven.
3. A morning that was JUST warm enough for me to go for my morning walk in shorts, without my legs snapping 😂
I'm trying another workout app. I prefer the type that runs the routine as a video, rather than just a list of moves.
I wanted a cardio based session today, but with light resistance throughout. This was just right.

1. A pretty easy-going day. Two little walks, and an online training session with heavy dumbbells and resistance band.
2. Movie time after lunch. Lovely to have that time now and then.

Today, I am grateful for -
1. A good day in general. No early walk, but I got outside for five minutes before enjoying my breakfast back indoors.
2. A beautiful trail of blossom on my little walk to pick up a fresh haul of plant based goodies! I got a cabbage, which I've used to make sauerkraut. Shame it takes such a long time to ferment.
3. Two meals at either end of my "food score" numbers. But hey, we don't need to be perfect 24/7!
I gave my lower body a good workout after breakfast. Decided to use a couple of 10kg plates and the heavy resistance band.
Yep, I've had a pretty good day 😊

Today's gratitude three -
1. Getting to the end of three long, tough work days. Looking forward to the next four days off.
2. A good, strong 6am workout before heading out for today's shift.
3. A bit of rain, saving me the job of having to water my pots this evening.
Oh, I saw some wonderful bluebells on my walk to the farm. Nestled amongst the nettles, in a few places. It made me think - we must always look for bluebells in the nettles. A good metaphor for life, I think!
