Hey, if you do crafts (especially things like crochet, knitting, embroidery, etc), make sure to look up how to identify when a listing is AI generated. You do NOT want to waste money on an incredible looking kit or pattern that is physically impossible to make, especially if you're on sites like etsy hoping to support an actual artist.

Me, on the welcome desk in the library: Good morning, how are you today?
Customer: I have welcomed Jesus into my heart and so I am well today and every day.
Me, a little unnerved: Okay then! Is there something I can help you with?
Customer, digging around in his bag and pulling out an iPhone in a box: Unfortunately, Jesus can't help me with this fucking phone, so I came to the library.

@mhbali1 We have an update!!! I’m transferring the image by hand into StitchFiddle. It’s a browser pattern maker for cross stitching, crochet, knitting, etc. The colors wont be exact since DMC only has so many colors to choose from and I’ll be changing some of them depending on how they look to me in person. Here’s what the image looks like so far! (Also for mhbali1 plz let me know if I tag too much. I barely post on here and don’t know much of the etiquette yet :^) )

WELCOME TO MY ATTEMPT AT NOT BUTCHERING BEAUTIFUL ART!!!
I have asked the wonderful @mhbali1 if I can make a cross stitch picture using a frame from one of their Dungeon Meshi GIF posts as seen here! (The image is the frame I will be using)
I love Senshi so much and having him just holding bread with a saying or something with it would be hilarious to hang up somewhere in my kitchen. Im thinking of having “THE YOUNGINS MUST BE FED” in big bold letters above and below the bread. I plan to be on here posting progress but in the meantime PLEASE go see mhbali1’s page they are SERIOUSLY so talented.

Minecraft Song Thoughts! Pt 1 Subwoofer Lullaby
Sooo, my roommate, @crazybooklover0, has gotten me back into Minecraft. While playing and watching other people play, I notice the songs in game are just so beautifully made and I want to share my thoughts on some of them just to see if other people had the same ideas as me when listening. I won't cover disc 13 or anything like that since there's a ton on those already and I'm not looking into anything ahead of time. This will solely be based on how I feel while listening to the songs. I will link each video for the songs from YouTube so you can follow along with my references.
The first one I'm talking about is Subwoofer Lullaby:
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibUOxEBxVsE
This one just makes me sad, and I have no clue why. There're pieces of the song that remind me of an old grandfather clock but there's no hour to keep track of. It's just a quiet familiar sound consisting of 13 sets of three notes until the song picks up at 0:25. This to me is what solidifies the lonely feeling I get. When I listen, I see the player as someone stranded. It's a beautiful world full of possibilities but with no one to share it with. If you really listen, you notice there's two parts to this song that you can pick apart and focus on one at a time. While you play, you may also notice there's two parts to Minecraft. It's you and the endless world in front of you.
Imagining the song in a real-world context makes me think of someone who is just freshly out of school, maybe they've just moved out, and they're staring at the sunset sort of scared and tired just thinking "What do I do now?"
I feel like these questions apply to both the game and the real world. Maybe this is what gets me. The feeling of not knowing what is going to happen next.
What monsters will spawn tomorrow? What will my first shift be like? Will I find a village soon? Will I be alone forever?
Is anyone out there?
#minecraft#music#i am not a music major please forgive me#video game music#mojang#my thoughts#just opinions!#I got dramatic like halfway thru can you tell?

More song suggestions!
Hello, Hello! People seemed to like my review of Anemoia by Oliver Buckland a bit ago and I've decided I want to make more posts like that one! If you have a song you want me to take a peek at and see what I think then plop it in the comments! I will honestly take anything from video games or any online series since I'm trying to expand my music interests. This will be fun!! I may just put in posts of songs I find compelling as well. Thanks for the support! Cheers!

ROOMMATE LORE TIME!!!!!! (I'm the roommate). I woke up at like 4:30 and thought I saw them standing by the minifridge with an arm raised like they were going to bring down the curtain. then I noticed the shape didn't move. THEN the figure started blinking in an out like a mirage. I thought "Ah, shadow people!" and fell right back asleep. This is a regular occurrence for me :)
BREAKING NEWS:
I am apparently dead now? My roommate saw a shadow figure that took on my appearance last night

Bee's Dreamscape part 2 baby
I had two dreams last night that I find kinda funny.
The first being a pirate-ish themed escape room with me and my extended family. We're in this large room with a few windows, a dresser and a desk (probably a bed too I have no clue) and a few pirate actors come in and explain the game. we need to get out and make it to our neighbor's house before the hour is up, but we need to get a key and the number to call them. we also need to make sure it's the right number. at some point the pirates act like they're cutting off my arm and I just flop it by my side saying, "hey I mean prosthetic technology is pretty cool now I don't really mind." So, after some pirate antics we get to searching and we find lots of keys and cards that we have to soak in cold water to see the color change and match them to each other. The name and number on the card should match with the name they gave us at the beginning of the game as well, so I have a bucket and start dunking. The only problem is, because it's a dream, my brain can't properly process words. Everything I read shifts and changes like crazy, but everything starts with a J and I hand my dad the wrong card on accident thinking "close enough". He starts to dial the number and calls the man on the phone asking for help like we're supposed to but that's not the neighbor who can help us, so I panic, and the pirates help us get the right card. We escape through the window and that dream ends.
The second dream takes place on a random small beach is Hawaii. We literally just get off an overnight flight but I'm already in a swimsuit and really excited to swim which is really out of character for me (I hate the beach with a passion sand is gross). I found a nice, shaded chair for my mom and start swimming and exploring. I'm pleasantly surprised that I can breathe underwater thinking "oh that potion must be working! Sweet!" even though I didn't take one. I eventually find someone I want to dive with, and he agrees it should be a challenge to see who can dive the best. We ask someone who works in the area for help with a diving platform and he sadly explains that we can't. The first side of the beach is too shallow and the other has a reef that we would get cut up on. on top of that, moving the platform could cause it to tip over because it's been held in place so long that the sand is an anchor. I wake up before we can figure it all out and I'm thoroughly disappointed.

The Four Eras of Minecraft History
First official post for this project!
So, I've divided up minecraft history into 4 eras, based on the decay of various structures and the loot that you can get from them. I've tentatively given each era a name, but they are absolutely not set in stone and subject to change.
So, the 4 eras. I'm just giving some brief summaries of each one, this project will eventually deep dive into each era
1. The Early Era
This era spans from the beginnings of the universe to the creation of the first nether portal. The structures that remain from this era are the trail ruins and the ocean ruins in the overworld, and the bastion remnant in the nether.
2. The Overworld-Nether Era
This era goes from the the creation of the first nether portal to the creation(/discovery?)* of the first end portal. Structures from this Era include the ruined portal, the ancient cities, nether fortresses, and strongholds.
*I'm not sure yet if the end portals were found or made, but I can make a whole different post about that.
3. The Tri-Dimensional Era
This era is likely spanning the largest amount of time, and doesn't have the clearest end or transition to the next era. The reason why will become clear in the next era. The structures from this era include, but are not limited to, desert temples, shipwrecks & buried treasure, mineshafts, and jungle temples in the overworld, and end cities in the end.
4. The Player Era
This era begins when a player first joins the world, which explains the unclear ending to the Tri-Dimensional Era. The structures in this era include those that are still actively occupied, whether it be by villagers, illagers, or witches. Therefore, the structures include villages, woodland mansions, pillager outposts, igloos and swamp huts.

I AM THE ROOMATE I CAN CONFIRM! GUYS REMEMBER HEROES OF OLYMPUS???? DEAD ON THE FLOOR NO ONE TALK TO ME UNTIL SEASON TWO HITS.
Did anyone else notice that when Percy was reciting the prophecy to Luke at the end, after he says the line about being bretrayed, the fireworks illuminate a figure in the bg that looks like someone about to stab him in the back?

It doesn't show up again until when they're having their fight, which you can see it's just a statue, but I though that was really interesting
