hopelessly waffling into the void in desperate attempts to seek some sort of comfort from the internet or to be told to just pull myself together - either should work !!

i like this girl - and i thought she liked me, up until yesterday, and i just have this lingering gut feeling that she wants nothing to do with me anymore / that i’ve done all i can and this is sort of the end of this road for me.

what hurts a lot is that i felt so ready to open my heart up to someone and to let myself be loved and i thought it would be with her - i got caught up in a whirlwind of trips to see each other and dates and runaway imaginations of spending time together mere days ago to now be sat in my bedroom, heavy pit in my stomach trying to not cry all the time because how can someone go from being so perfect and promising the world and giving you so much hope and excitement to not even acknowledging your existence and be acting completely fine.

anyways, liking girls is hard & liking girls long distance is even Harder - i just keep finding myself thinking ‘what happened?’ ‘did i do something wrong?’ ‘why has the feeling shifted so greatly so quickly?’ i find myself still checking for a text message despite her being on my focus mode, seeing if she’s responded to me on instagram, see if she’s posted on twitter.

i know people don’t feel as deeply as others do and i’m fully aware that i am a lot more sensitive and have bigger feelings than most, but i really find myself struggling to figure out what could’ve happened so quickly to make such a change :(

i sit here staring at my phone wondering if texting for a 6th time without a response is “too much” (it very much is - i’m practicing self restraint on an entirely different level) but i really have no idea what else to do, being told by a girl that she likes you and thinks you’re pretty wanting to take you out on dates one minute to giving yourself the ick the next by the amount of repeat texting you’re having to do is really something.

cattonquick headcanons because saltburn is just rotting my brain to nothing

• ollie has a thing for felix when he goes on his runs because felix being felix does his runs around the estate with his shirt off and in the shortest shorts known to man

• they take baths together & wash each others hair because theyre sappy and gay and just down really bad respectively (but only sappy with each other)

• in the summer theyll sit on the same sunbed together, oliver lying inbetween felix’s legs while felix plays with the shorter boys hair

• oliver revels in felix wearing those linen shirts, when the sun hits & he can see the outline of his boyfriends body through the shirt is enough to make him weak at the knees

• felix is golden retriever boyfriend and oliver is black cat boyfriend

• i said in my last cattonquick hc post that felix would call oliver petnames BUT i forgot the best one // felix calls oliver doll because hes just so delicate and beautiful that hes felix’s own little baby doll

• whenever theyre (oliver) in the library studying, felix is constantly pestering oliver because he wants attention and they inevitably get kicked out because of their too-loud bickering

• theres also a time that felix & oliver got caught definitely not reading books in the little back corner of the library which resulted in them getting in a LOT of trouble (it was worth it)
