World Building! (Part 3)
HEYY so I told you about my moon goddesses and what they do. Now time to tell you how having 3 moons affects the ecosystem! In the place where most of the story takes place, The Land of Tomorrow, there are six seasons or changes of the moon cycles that affect the world around. Spring - Aville / Fate is closest to the planet. Weather is present, but not at its furthest or closest point, just in the middle. First Harvest - Magic is at its first closest point to the planet Weather will sometimes appear but not often. Heat Season - Sun is at its closest point to the planet Weather is orbiting closer to the planet Rain Season - Weather is at its first closest point to the planet Sun is starting to drift away in its orbit Second Harvest - Magic is at its second closest point to the planet Fate is at its furthest point to the planet Winter/Cold Season - Weather is at its second closest point to the planet Sun is at its furthest point to the planet The image below shows the orbits of the moons around the planet. I really hope it makes as much sense to you as it does to me!

World Building! (Part 2)
Welcome again! I LOVE magic systems in stories! So many ways one can go about creating one for any setting. I think mine is pretty unique and interesting if I do say so myself! Let me tell you about it!
All Sorceries are born during the First and Second Harvest seasons, but not every child born during these seasons will be Sorceries. If the child has a Sorcerie or Mage parent or grandparent related by birth then the possibility of these powers will be greater. However, sometimes by fate or by chance, a child with no connection to Naiana will be born a Sorcerie, thus starting a new line of users. This can happen at any phase of the moon during the seasons, as long as the moon is present.
Sorceries can control any magical element itself without the need for tools or outside help. However, there are limits to what they can do, as not every element is connected to magic. The details of what is considered "Magical" and "Controllable" depends on the area, the season, and the ability of the Sorcery themself. For example, most sorceries can control Water which is connected to the world itself, and therefore a magical element. But they cannot control Fire, because it is not a magical element. The way Sorceries can control non-magical elements is by tools, gems, stones, materials, and jewelry that are created by merging the element and a magical element. Staves, Wands, Brooms, Swords, Daggers, Various weapons, Clothing garments, Jewelry, Cooking Utensles, Farming Equipment, and Studying tools are all examples of items that are usually merged with non-magical and magical elements. These items are also used by people who are Gifted with magic, instead of born. A powerful Sorcerie can gift the power of the magic ability to another person through a sacrifice to the goddess of Fate, who will then change the abilities of said person. The only effect it has on a Sorcerie is their magic abilities lessen and becomes less powerful, which already happens as they age. For Sorceries who decide to or are called to work and perform magic in courts and businesses, they earn the title of Sorcerer, Sorceress, or just Sorcerie for a gender-neutral term. They do a wide variety of things, which I will write about in more detail in another post! Witch, Wizard, Enchanter, Cursorer, and Alchemists are job titles in the world! More details on this in another post are coming! I'm REALLY struggling with finishing this post so I think I'll leave it here! More infodumps to come because I'm having a lot of fun! ~Josie

World Building! (Part 1)
Hellooo!
World-building is my favourite part of the writing process, sometimes I do more building than writing and I love every moment of it. So I'm going to share some neat parts of the world I built for my TV show! In order to understand. literally everything else. You gotta know about the moons and their goddesses. The world has three goddesses that exist as three moons that orbit the fictional world, they each control a different aspect of the planet's life. Iska Tempus controls the Weather Naiana Tempte controls the Magic Aville Tempe controls Fate and Time. There are three forms of "Lumen" or Children of the goddesses, each has two "Parent goddesses"
The children of Iska and Aville, (Weather and Fate) live on a sacred plain of existence known as Avillisk. You cannot enter this world unless you are invited or called by Fate itself or one of its children. They feel a close connection to Fate and Time and often have visions or knowledge about the future, past, and present. They have existed long before the Written Times began, and are the oldest civilization that exists.
The children of Naiana and Aville, (Magic and Fate) are people born with magical powers called Sorceries. During the First and Second harvest seasons, Naiana's moon is seen and most children will be born with these powers. Not all children will have these powers, and it is more common if one or both children already have a parent with magic abilities. But if you meet a Sorcerie, their birthdays probably fall within these two seasons. Being born with powers is not the only way to get powers though, you can be "Gifted" with the power of magic ability and become a Mage. Only a powerful Sorcerie can gift the power of magic. I'll write another post about the Magic system at another time, so stay tuned for more details! The children of Naiana and Iska, (Magic and Weather) are magical beings who wander around and affect or control the weather around them. Depending on where they are, their appearance is different. Sometimes herds of horse-like creatures bring wind with them when they run through plains and mountains, pods of dolphins control the waves and tides, birds bring thunderstorms, and a giant invisible beast that keeps the clouds away and basks in the sunshine. There are four islands near the South Pole of the planet, these are the Islands of the Goddess Three. The goddesses' spirits reside there, their connection to their children is the strongest when one comes to the islands. The fourth island is reserved for the Sun God, who doesn't really do much. Thanks for reading Part 1! More information to come! If anyone has any questions feel free to ask! ~Josie

Introduction Post!
Greetings Traveler!
I'm so glad you've stumbled upon my little space of the internet where I share stories I've come up with! Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I'm more than excited to share these ideas and thoughts with you! I hope you join me! My biggest project is a TV show I'm working on - The Land of Tomorrow. A fantasy, action, adventure, romance, and comedy series about a bunch of kids who get kidnapped from their magical world and grow up with no memories of who they are. When they learn about the truth of who they are and where they're from, they're faced with hardships, magical powers, worldwide wars, fantastical adventures, falling in love, and cosmic horrors beyond human comprehension! It's quite fascinating! I hope you all will like this show as much as I do! My other projects are on the back burner, but I hope to indulge in them some more as I continue this writing journey. I'd love to write movies and video game plots someday! Something I'm working towards in the future :) Thanks for being here! It means a lot! I hope to see you soon!!
