24th January 2020 and I still haven't updated my motivation poster. Shambles but we'll get to it. Yes, I need a poster to remind me of the amazing things I'm proclaiming over my 2020 in Jesus' name. My brain won't let me store so much things and I got places to be, people to see, exams to slay, breakthroughs to witness, videos to make, love to give and so much more. My skin likes to switch up too much and these are one of the rare times where my skin isn't messing around. Speaking on things that like to switch up shout out to my feelings for making me lust after things that never benefit me and as soon as pursue it, you like to let me know that "nah, we're good" after I have gone down every dark path to get it. But the Bible tells me my heart is naturally deceitful (ref. Jeremiah 17:9) so the heart is not to be trusted but what I can relie on is God and his plans to prosper me and do no harm. Where did I go? Did I have nothing to say? Last time I said anything was April and now I'm back a month later. The problem wasn't having nothing to say. I had a lot to say. The problem was choosing what to say. The problem was understanding why I am saying it and when. And today just felt right to say that silence doesn't mean nothing is happening in your life. God is actually doing the most in your season of silence and it'll soon come to surface. You just got to understand that preparation comes before the action and preparation is usually silent. God is a being of mystery and God's timing ain't ours but God's silence doesn't mean denial, God's silence doesn't mean He is ignoring or refusing you of what you want. God's just working... A tree needs roots. And roots are what we don't see but are essential to the growth of a plant. And you best believe that the plant God's growing in your life will bear good fruits.
