On going battle with myself

Why is it that we just love to torture ourselves? and when I say ourselves I mean ME. One thing I’ve never liked about myself is that I continuously compare myself to people who in my mind are so much better than I am. The way they look, the way they speak, the things they wear, who they date, what they like! It’s so ridiculous the amount of pressure I put on myself to the best, the prettiest, the skinniest, smartest.. blah blah blah.

I don't ever wanna feel like I'm competing with someone. Endless it's mutual & it's an actual game.

Why does everyone shy away from the topic of love? It’s like people want to pretend it’s not there, like its embarrassing to believe in it. Love is beautiful it helps you with so much in life. It inspires, it motivates, makes you feel like you can conquer anything. And that’s what this world needs.. The state of mind to conquer anything.

Where's your mind at?

I had a bad dream last night and I normally don't remember them. I was in a room so I thought with my mother. And there was a random rose bush in the room that we were looking at. We were staring at the roses that just bloomed, but my attention kept switching to a lifeless snake that was laying in the bush. My mother paid no mind to it .. It was odd. Then the snake started to rise so I backed up slowly and gestured to my mother to do the same. I told her to make no sudden movements but she fled. I backed up into a room and tried sealing the door with something. But the snake crawled from underneath the door which made no sense to me because something that big would never be able to fit. I screamed for my mother to run but she was already gone. I ran outside the room and it looked like a hotel hall way with elevators. I ran to one of the elevators, pressed the button, it opened with people inside. I hid behind some corner hoping the snake would be distracted by the elevator but if found me. I just started at it and I woke up.. Scared. It all just felt so real.
