There are 8 days left until the goal closes. Unfortunately, I did not receive the requested amount. We continue to publish hour after hour, but to no avail. We have $3,200 left, and unfortunately, the Isnad Initiative students will not be able to obtain study seats. Gaza students need this amount to save their dream, their future, and their families! 😭

For the first time, I see Isnad Initiative students in this state, broken, lacking passion, feeling hopeless. 40 students, both male and female, are broken!! And all this because of only $3,200 left! They are in dire need of this money. I have never seen them in such weakness before. Everyone was completing their dream with a small laptop and a simple study desk.

But today?!

Will these heroes' dream end for $3,500?

Will they return to their tents disappointed and tell their families that they were unable to complete their education? And consequently, they won't receive food this month. How weak and feeble we are today in the eyes of this world! Our only goal has become obtaining internet, electricity, and a simple chair!! And yet we are still unable to provide this.

Damn it!

I don't know how I'm going to tell them that we couldn't achieve the goal. I don't know how I'm going to go out and really tell them this!! I wish I could get this amount just for the students of Gaza.💔

Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.

Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔

There is nothing more left to say, so I will get straight to the point; my friend Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj0 ) is in immediate danger of bombings.

This was the map he got sent and the green marked dot is where he is at currently. As you can see the marked area of bombings goes beyond where Siraj is currently residing with his family. We all know this is cruelty. There is nothing humanitarian about dropping leaflets and telling families to evacuate to "humanitarian zones"; there is no such thing in Gaza. This is just a sick game and as I have said before, used this exact phrase: families are being made to outrun bombings!!

So Siraj really desperately needs to reach 10k. Everything in Gaza costs money ( that's what the settler state has done to the city)- no one is willing to come to this area and help transport Siraj's family to relative safety, without a price. I know Gazan donation posts don't get as much engagement as before but please if we could make an exception now, for this is an emergency! If you have donated recently to any fundraiser, and you can't afford to donate again now, then you don't have to- but please boost the post. If it has been a while since your last donation, consider forgoing your coffee for the day and help Siraj escape the area marked for bombings.

Do u know what's DISGUSTING? It's when you have to remove insects from the only loaf of bread you're allowed to eat each day, but to make fun of ourselves, we call these insects "free protein." And as the saying goes, when you're hungry, your mind shuts down. Now I cover my nose when eating a loaf of bread so I don't smell it, and I avoid looking at it so I don't see the insects...

But that's not important, there's worse. Malnutrition is starting to affect my 6 y.old sister, as intestinal worms are eating away at her body from the inside out and destroying her health. So, I'm appealing to you all to donate so I can buy a clean bag of flour for $570 and provide treatment for her. She's slowly dying... Or by paypal

We Are a Family Trying to Survive Under Bombs and Hunger

I'm writing on behalf of my family, from under the rubble of fear, hunger, and war. Life here has turned into a daily struggle for the most basic things: food, water, safety. We have lost almost everything — and what little remains is far beyond our reach.

There’s no bread, no clean water, no electricity. Medicine is a dream.Even when these essentials appear, they come with prices we simply can’t afford. Imagine going to sleep hungry, waking up to explosions, and wondering if you'll survive the day.

We divide a single meal among us like it’s gold. Some days, we have nothing at all. The fear is constant. The hunger is real. But the hardest part is watching those you love suffer and being unable to help.

its a little strange because i actually think yusuke's mum atsuko from yyh is at least given compassion in the narrative. she's definitely not perfect but she's not outright abusive and after yusuke's resurrection is pretty protective of him and loving.

mito and kikyo on the other hand is given far less sympathy. tbf on kikyo, the whole zoldyck family is abusive and silva is just as manipulative as her.

but mito????? she pressured ging into abadoning his son, lied to gon about it for years n just seems very insecure about her role in gon's life. it makes for a fascinating character for sure but i wish the narrative would acknowledge that she is not some perfect paragon of motherhood.

im so glad they changed her character for the 2011 anime adaptation. bc in the manga she is fully given the evil step mother treatment 🫠 different, but in context, on par with killuas mom. although i think worse actually, because kikyo imparts very fictional violence (literal torture dungeon), whereas mitos behavior is very real world abuse.

anytime mito is on screen she is either yelling at, lying to, sobbing at, and/or attempting to control gons life in malicious and underhanded ways.
