You know how in LND it's stated (implied?) that everything the Phantom has composed has not been Good ever since he lost Christine as his muse? My old cat used to sit on my lap while I would write music. Ever since she passed away, everything I've written since has not been nearly as good. So what I'm saying is that it's totally valid for Erik to have Christine as his muse. But also that he should have a cat to help him compose.
