I feel like writing ^^ so here goes?

She had forgotten why she still sings. What was the point?

"If you had to choose between two equally important things, what would you do?"

Once a voice asked her that question.

She choose her sacrifice and the voice stole her hearing and in exchange, blessed her with life once more.

Miraculously saved from that accident, the world rejoiced. "She lives to sing once again!"

The moment she woke, she could see, speak, but could not hear.

She swore she would live on, even if she can't hear. She decided to face the world because she could still sing and she believe that just that was enough.

But she could no longer listen to those precious words that he would whisper in her ear. No longer hear her nagging or that familiar laugh. No more chirps, rumbles, or rustles. She feels the wind, but never the gentle sound that use to linger. Sometimes, she couldn't even tell if she was singing or just breathing.

And it was lonely.

To make up for solitude and insecurities, she sang. Because it was what they wanted, because it made everyone else feel less guilty. Because it's what she had loved.

She let people feel the world, yet she was shrouded in silence.

Her name was Cilece.

... LOOOL SO CHEESE XDDD sigh so i wrote this from a story idea i've had a while now about a girl who's a well known singer. She gets into an accident that costs her life. But she is asked a question (by some higher being? lol) and she can be saved in exchange of loosing one of the two most important things to her. Her hearing or her voice. She chose her hearing as she loved singing. But by losing her hearing, she could no longer hear the love from the people around her. And that's about it up to there. o.o The main idea was to write a story about having to choose between two important things and finding a way to live on.
