The main problem with WIR is obviously the misogyny, and I don't like Selina being a Falcone daughter either. There is something about Riddler that I could never put my fingers on. His characterisation obviously shifted during the course of the Long Halloween run in a bad way. He is a whimp and diminutive but also a bit queer and obviously a letcher, and the way he treats Selina and how that kiss scene played out alway rubbed me me the wrong way.

He was stuck in this pervert garden gnome phase for a while, unfortunately.

when i see the riddler being written badly i get mad on a personal level because thats my guy and i would like to see him given his dues but when catwoman is being written badly i actually feel like im watching a misogynistic hate crime in slow motion

i am obviously a huge riddlecat fan i love them i love the concept but the way many people will either praise when in rome's portrayal of them or seemingly try to "swap" the dynamic around is baffling like. idk maybe im not wording this correctly but basically what im trying to say is that while there are now others, their arguably most prominent comic appearance together is drenched in misogyny. saying selina actually liked ed's behavior the entire time... or deciding to focus on riddler more and making catwoman the one who cant take a no... these are both terrible to her!!!!
