ok so this is a Mikey centric au, and it basically goes: while splinter was running to the Alley way where he ends up in canon, he drops one of the turtle. He drops him near Todd's door step and by coincidence Todd was just about to leave his house when he sees Mikey out in the rain with no parental figure. Now Todd is a big fan of ninjas and reads a lot of Japanese folklore, so he knows what yokais are. He assumes a yokai left Mikey near his front door step, so he takes him in and names him after his favorite Renaissance artist, Michelangelo!

Years later, after Todd gets mutated when Donnie comes to get the camper, he sees Mikey and starts to internally freak out. He keeps a calm and collected act pretending he doesn't think Mikey is his long lost brother. After the whole Mantis shenanigans, when Donnie gets home he reveals what he found while there at Todd's camper, and everyone starts freaking out, especially splinter, who too this point had thought he had lost his youngest child. Donnie eventually brings everyone to Todd's place, they meet Mikey and splinter talks to Todd about what happened when Mikey was a baby. Todd being the kind and considerate person he is takes this whole situation very calmly, explaining how he found Mikey and everything that happened with him and Mikey since he had found him on that cold and rainy day. Splinter says his part of the story from his POV. and Todd and splinter come to an agreement where Mikey can choose where he stays and visit the other place as much as they would like. Mikey chooses to live with Todd because he has known him longer and doesn't want to leave his dad. At this point they had bring Mikey his mystic weapon! Mikey had learned he had some sort of magic when he was like 10, but he nor Todd knew what it was so they just hid it so they wouldn't hurt anyone.

Merge Mining: An Efficiency Boost

Merge mining is a method that permits miners to mine multiple cryptocurrencies simultaneously, given they share the same hashing algorithm. This means that Foundry can continue to secure the Bitcoin network while concurrently bolstering Rootstock’s security, enhancing overall efficiency and income without extra effort.

To make this possible, Foundry plans to inject 200 exahashes per second into Rootstock, raising its total throughput to 740 EH/s. This represents nearly 80% of the total computing power currently safeguarding the Bitcoin network. Foundry is confident that this strategy will make Rootstock transactions much more secure, mitigating risks such as cyberattacks or double spending.

A Mutually Beneficial Arrangement

This new arrangement is advantageous for both Rootstock and Foundry. Foundry may have unlocked a new revenue stream as miners who opt to merge mine with Rootstock receive 79% of Rootstock’s transaction fees in rBTC, Rootstock’s version of Bitcoin.
