Thinking about OJ getting nightmares from the MephoneX attack.
But in his mind, he's the caretaker. The idea of being comforted sounds like a failure to him. He's not supposed to get nightmares, he's supposed to be dependable and strong!
So whenever it happens he's extra careful to ensure no one knows about it. Hides himself away until the colour of red and blaring sirens fade away. And if he's a little out of it the next morning well he's just tired. People never really ask anything more than that. It's normal for him to be tired.

Okay there’s actually no fucking way that Jupe did NOT hear the screams of the horses/ the people who got eaten previous (the hikers) like he had to have heard them ! If Otis Sr and OJ heard it, he had to have heard it ! I actually refuse to believe that he didn’t hear it !

now this, this is fascinating!
even before any kind of reveal, test tube is under the impression that a contestant's existence is dependent on the game they're in -- she doesn't think this season should exist, that it's a mistake, and likewise, she doesn't think these contestants should exist either, that they're a mistake too: a mistake as a by-product of the mistake that is inanimate insanity infinity ever occurring as a season. she doesn't even think that these new characters could've already existed, living their own lives, just recruited by salt and pepper... no, she thinks they were made. and...
...oh. damn.
yeah okay the twist wasn't even a twist, was it?

oh actually now that i think about it, Peter is poisonous to eat and is super brightly colored but Miles is venomous (in the electric power sense) and the only brightness is the red on his suit, so it would be nice if Miles would make the red rapidly change colors as a defense mechanism because “i’m so colorful, im poisonous, don’t eat me” but also (and the reason Miles actually does this) the flashing colors would distract an enemy long enough for him to attack and/or blind them and mess them up in a way that makes it easier for Miles to flee if need be, like actual bugs and other animals do in the jungle.
