When thinking about Finn and Rey both having romantic feelings for one another and being Jedi, I wonder if they debated whether they can practice romantic love without nonattachment, if they should even attempt it.

Though ik fandom interpretations of the Jedi Order moving forward usually say the unspoken romance tbh op would be dropped, I also think that based on the historical resources Finn and Rey (and Jannah; though she’s not a part of the romantic dynamic here imo she’d be one of the senior members of the Order) I think they’d agree that attachment could be historically dangerous (see: Anakin, Leia’s testimony, Marda if they can get their mitts on that history).

Further complicating any discussion they have about this I also wonder if they feel like it’s slightly unfair to them, not raised as Jedi, to have to jump into this sort discipline since they came from childhoods where they had nothing and very few relationships, if any. Would they feel bitter about having to go from barely having touched the galaxy before having to restrict themselves from it? We usually talk about Jedi as raised in their beliefs, but these three are coming at it as converts, or at least new to the religious/cultural aspects of being a Jedi.

I think they’ll be alright. But it’s a lot to contend with for people who just had the resurrection/continuation of a millennia-old culture become their responsibility in the last year.

oh yeah definitely, finn's closet is free real estate for me and all his close friends. unless it's his underwear, he doesn't give a shit what you take

he pretends like there's no reason and he genuinely just doesn't care but i know for a fact that it's because he likes matching / sharing with people, he's just soft & sentimental like that jasnsdj

there are like,, i guess, levels?? to what you can grab from his wardrobe? like a game w achievements ig like 'if ur on level 5 you can only take his necklaces & bracelets, if ur on level 10 you can take his shoes & hoodies' and ect ect

there's one sweater of his that i take a lot, and i actually got to bring it with me while in paris for some business i did. it was a dark brown with like cute white flowers on it, it's super comfy & warm and i wore it at the airport, people got pics of it ofc,,

then when me and finn met up i gave it back to him, then he wore it while walking somewhere in la and ofc there were a few paparazzi who recognized him AND the sweater. the internet didn't blow up too much but we were still questioned about it a few times on twitter and even once while i was on jimmy fallon 🧍‍♀️

Undisclosed Desires - Thranduil x Reader seems to get quite a bit of love even though I was very clearly being a bitch and put in minimal effort. It was at the time I had a very clear rule that I did not write smut, and the person who requested did that thing where you say, "The rest is up to you 😘" implying that they wanted a smut fic.

That was a few years ago, I wasn't as mature then as I am now, and I don't fuck around about my rules for requesting. Which had been a consistent issue. I do write smut now, though.
