A few of you have been getting on my ass about not including Hantengu and Gyokko, so here you go.

Muzan Kibutsuji 

He had met you when he took a small vacation to the beach. You had washed up ashore and you were struggling with your tail. Muzan was enchanted, as he thought mermaids were just myths. He prepared a spell that would allow you to have legs while you were on land.

The two of you surprisingly got along very well. He tested the strength you have by allowing you to squeeze one of the lower moons. The rip-off Michael Jackson was a bit shocked to hear the spine snap, as well as your sharp-toothed smile after the poor unfortunate soul collapsed.

I feel like he wouldn’t particularly like your mood swings, but he loved you so he put up with them. I feel like your mood went along with his: if he was upset, you were upset. However, your emotions were more expressive than his. You would be more prone to violence if either you or him were provoked.

Since he’s like the apex predator of demons, you call him White Pointer because the Great White Shark is an apex predator of the ocean. Muzan is very interested in your stories from your childhood, especially your twin brother (his future brother-in-law) and Azul (who Kibutsuji thought was a possible rival at first).

Kokushibo

He had met you when Muzan was testing your strength and you snapped the spinal cord of one of the lower moons. As unlikely as it sounded, it was love at first sight for the two of you. He admired your strength just as you admired his (who wouldn’t? I mean, have you seen this fine demon?).

Speaking of, you both work side-by-side in enforcing the rules in the demon ranks. You were a surprisingly formidable opponent, even though you were “human”. Kokushibo, however, wanted to keep you as you were rather than turning you into a demon.

This demon is very emotionally stable from a day-to-day basis, so he acts kind of like your anchor whenever you go through mood swings. I think he’s kind of indifferent towards them, and he acts as your voice of reason. When you seek him out for comfort, he can’t help but feel some pride swelling in his chest.

You call him ‘sea lion’ because he’s very agile in battle, and because he’s very loyal to you and you both live in a “raft”. He does like to hear about your life in Twisted Wonderland and about your twin and your boss, but he is greatly saddened about the prospect of you wanting to return.

Douma

Muzan had brought you back to the Infinity Castle, and he was immediately entranced by your smile and your overall beauty. Don’t get me started about when he found out you were a mermaid. When you showed him your mer-form, he was so excited.

He was surprised by the amount of strength you had, since it could rival some of the lower-ranking demons. You even snapped someone’s spinal cord, and it sent him rolling on the floor laughing. He can handle your squeezes, though, and welcomes them with open arms.

This man doesn’t feel emotions until you’re right next to him. You both feed off of each others’ moods. If you’re happy, he’s happy. If you’re upset, he’s upset. Same thing vice versa as well. It’s an emotional roller coaster for everyone.

You like to call him ‘blanket octopus’ because they’re just as colorful as his eyes, and he loves to hear what they were like in the ocean as well as your life in the Coral Sea. If the two of you decide to go swimming at night, he loves the way that your tail wraps around him because you love to cling to him.

Akaza

His head turned so quickly when he heard someone’s spine snap, only to see that it was you with a lower-ranking demon in your grasp. Muzan had told them about how your mer-person strength would benefit demonkind, but he didn’t know you held that much power.

Because of your strength, he was immediately attracted to you. He eventually got to know you better, and you turned out to be a very spontaneous person. He doesn’t mind it though, since it always keeps him guessing. This makes a nice segway into…

Your mood swings! Akaza doesn’t get too annoyed by them, especially if they end up in you being clingy towards him. Since this demon loves you oh-so-much, he encourages clingy behavior. Oftentimes, you are sat upon his lap and he’s holding you around the waist as he leans his head upon you.

He quite enjoys the nickname you’ve given him: mantis shrimp. You’ve explained that it was because they were as strong as he was, and could even break aquarium glass. This led him to asking about the ocean and about your family. He wishes he could remember his life as a human.

Hantengu

Mans let out an audible squeak when he heard a spine snap, and when he turned around to see where the sound came from you had a wide smile and a folded up demon in your arms. Muzan gathered everyone’s attention and introduced you to the group.

He honestly let you do as you wished, considering you scared him. This eventually developed into romantic feelings being the cause, but at that point it was because he very much valued his own spinal cord. He always goes stiff whenever you want to squeeze him.

As for your mood swings, he doesn’t mind them. You have enough confidence for the two of you, and he serves you. If you randomly want or need something, he will go and get it for you with no questions asked. Anything to make his darling moray eel happy.

Speaking of, he absolutely adores your mer-form. The way you moved so quickly in the water was spectacular. You call him ‘squid’, considering they’re one of the more shy creatures of the sea but the bigger ones are still very strong (take that as you will).\

Gyokko

His morbid fascination really did wonders for his art, especially when he saw how much strength you actually had as you snapped the demon’s spinal cord like a KitKat. You served as his muse even in your human form, let alone your mer-form.

Your mer-form was very intriguing to him, and his art usually had you as the subject. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering a lot of artists loved to paint the love of their lives. He’s just painting the love of his afterlife. Don’t mind him as he’s carrying another canvas to his studio.

If your mood swings make you clingy, he is absolutely happy about it. He’s a very jealous demon, so this works out for him. However, he hates it when you yell at him to leave you alone. It leads to a yelling battle that leads to him apologizing.

You’d probably call him ‘Fantasia’, after the Pink See-Through Fantasia. Both were very weird creatures in your mind, but both were loveable. One time, as he was painting you, he asked you about your life in the sea, and you happily told him about your childhood with Jade and Azul. The work ended up being a more nostalgic one.

Daki 

She was jealous of you at first because you were taking the attention of Muzan away from her, but she eventually learned that you cared more about her than him. You’ve even snapped the spine of a lower-ranking demon for even trying to talk to her.

When she first saw your moray eel form, she thought you were so majestic. It reminded her of the stories she often heard in the villages and even from her older brother. You gave her an ounce of hope that she hadn’t felt in a while.

Your mood swings upset her greatly. If you’re upset for no reason, then she’s gonna be upset at you for being upset. It’s a hot mess. The only way she puts up with them is when you go to her first to cling to her. She gets very insecure when you demand time alone.

Daki has a love-hate relationship with your nickname for her: shrimpy. She knows that you nicknamed her after the sea creature, but ‘shrimpy’ can be used as an insult. You call her that because she’s much smaller than you, but she eventually grows to love it full-time, and even gets concerned when you don’t call her that.

Gyutaro

He was definitely impressed when you snapped the spine of a lower-ranking demon, considering you weren’t a demon yourself. Then he saw your smile, and his non-beating heart fluttered and soared. Muzan introduced you as a new enforcer, and said that you were a moray eel mermaid. To be honest, he thought there was only one type of mermaid.

When he first saw your mer-form, he was amazed at how quickly you moved through the water. You seemed truly at peace in the water, and he thought you were very graceful. He once accompanied you, and you wrapped your tail around his very small waist and clung onto him, which made him very flustered.

You reminded him of his younger sister whenever you went through a mood swing. He’s also the only one who knows how to properly deal with them, but he will most definitely call you childish. He acts like it’s such an inconvenience, but he actually likes helping you because that serves as reassurance that you would never leave him. His ocean-themed nickname was ‘sea snake’, and you would even tease him by dragging out the s in the words. You called him this because he was very curious about mermaids, but especially about the different kinds.

Demon Slayer Halloween Headcanons, Part 3

I am so sorry this is late, school has been kicking my butt. I hope y'all like it though!

Rui dressed up as a Spider Witch and brought along a bunch of 'little' spider friends for Trick-or-Treating. Whenever someone would refuse to give him candy, he would give them a new spider 'friend.' "Upper six told me it was 'Trick-OR-Treat.' They had the choice, and so did I."

Enmu: This psychopath went as a vampire and accidentally copied Daki. Daki forced him to change, so they went as a train conductor. ":)"

Gyutaro was not going to do anything this year, but he got roped into taking Rui Trick-or-Treating. Gyutaro let Daki put a pair of cat ears on him, and drew on some whiskers. "This is my favorite time of the year, I'm considered 'cool.'"

Daki: After the argument with Enmu, Daki entered a costume contest and came in second place. Daki then proceeded to steal the winners Halloween candy and destroy everything within the vicinity. Gyutaro had to take her back to the Infinity Castle early. "I will NOT settle second place, and I will NOT put up with some annoying COPYCAT!"

Akaza: Akaza wasn't expecting much from this 'party.' (Honestly he wasn't even gonna go, but he was ordered to.) Still, despite his reluctance, Daki put a pair of bear ears on him. Akaza spent the entire night trying not to burst out laughing until they were all permitted to leave. Akaza will never forget this Halloween. "Just...let me have this, Kokushibo."

Muzan: Muzan did not and would not dress up. Muzan claimed the concept of Halloween was too childish and would not participate. This confused the demons because they thought Muzan was the one who made them attend. He decapitated Douma. "Hello people who do not live here."

Kokushibo: He didn't dress up either, and Daki was too scared to try making him wear bunny ears. "No, maybe next year."

Douma: Douma was in full agreement with Muzan. "The master dresses up as Michael Jackson all year long after all, he deserves a day off!" Douma spent Halloween regenerating his body. "HEY, I was being nice this time!"

Gyokko: This MF went as Bob Ross. No on really paid much attention to them, as everyone was too busy watching Douma get his azz beat. "It would be a lie for me to say I don't feel inspired by the scene before me."

Hantengu (main body): Hantengu was constantly terrified the entire night until a wandering Demon Slayer separated them. "Terrifying...Terrifying..."

Aizetsu: Since the clones were on a last minute mission, Aizetsu decided to dress up as the Grim Reaper. "It makes me upset that we have to work on the holidays, but what other choice do we have?"

Sekido: Sekido also found the idea of dressing up to be stupid, and yelled at the other clones for participating in it. Sekido later felt embarrassed for being one of the few not dressed up at the party. "Idiots...I AM SURROUNDED BY IDIOTS!"

Karaku: Karaku dressed up in a Scream costume and chased people into the woods straight to Urogi. "Nothing wrong with having a little fun tonight, right?"

Urogi: Urogi didn't dress up because he thought they were scary enough as it is. While they were out he and Karaku would chase people into the woods and see who could throw someone higher in the air. "HAHAHA! LETS SEE IF YOU CAN 'FLY' HIGHER THAN YOUR FRIEND DID!"

🧙‍♀️Learning that a human has cured ubuyashiki and later on muzan learning that it was not just a regular human but a human that has reatched his goal in life to become immortal and learning that she was born around 1000 bc and is one of the strongest sorcerers in the world.

✨How pissd of whoud they bet that a regular human became immortal on accident because of her shitty food when they though she did it on purpose but later on find out it she became immortal on accident.

🧙‍♀️Them later on finding out that she used to be married to yoriichi and that her even had the pact of Solomon (and kokushibo not knowing about it and being angry that his younger brother outdid him by being married with the most powerful soreror )

✨And her helping the demon slayers ever since and now has resurfaced and is helping the hashira and ubuyashiki again .

🧙‍♀️Them learning that the used to be royalty with a 1000 lovers and wives learning that they library of Solomon holds books that can destroy the world that only she can enter because of her magic.

✨Imagen them kidnapping her and hers summenig her 72 demon and telporting away and later on telling the demon slayers and ubuyashiki about the location of the infinity castle.

🧙‍♀️The uppermoons and muzan learning that she has pacts with demons that are way stronger than them and don't eat human flesh but their soul.

Does not include Hantengu or any of his other personas. Sorry, but it’s too much. I did include Gyokko and Nakime, tho.

Muzan Kibutsuji

He knew you existed, and for years he had been searching for you. After all, you were the wife of one of his greatest enemies, as well as an incredibly powerful ally to the Demon Slayer Corps. Not just that, but you were immortal and could roam the earth. You also cured Kagaya Ubuyashiki, so it was no wonder he wanted to see where you got your magic from.

However, when he did manage to somehow kidnap you, you didn’t do anything to demonstrate your power. In fact, you just sat there as you teased about how he was just so angry that he couldn’t conquer the Sun while you had 1000 spouses since he had become a demon. You could even destroy all of demonkind with just a whisper of an incantation, you further pissed him off by saying this.

Eventually, you got a bit tired and you knew that the demon slayers were struggling trying to get you back, so you activated each and every demon pact you had and proceeded to beat his ass and stomp it into the ground. As he laid there, battered and bruised, you stated how sorry you were for the diseases he had in his life and how they led to the decline of his quality of both life and demon-life.

Kokushibo

He was very angry that his brother managed to outdo him once again, but this time in picking a spouse. You were a legend all over the world, with powers unmatched and immortality, along with being able to roam about in the Sun, his brother won the jackpot. But, as furious as he is, he follows Muzan’s order to keep you alive.

The Rip-Off Michael Jackson himself had put everyone on shifts to look out after you and make sure that you weren’t up to deep shit. But, Kokushibo was aware that you would try to use his brother against him. What he didn’t expect was for you to say ‘I dreamed of meeting you, based on the wonderful things Yoriichi had told me about you. At least his wish was granted’.

This threw him for a loop as he just stared at you in shock. You took the chance to summon the 72 demons you had pacts with and quickly made an escape. As strong as your brother-in-law was, he stood no chance against the demons you associate yourself with. In addition to that, the demon slayers that were trying to get you back got assistance from a different kind of demon.

Douma

This man was not opposed to being assigned a shift of watching over you. In fact, he was very excited. But once he walked into the room with a smile, you (with a matching smile) told him to drop the cheery exterior and show his real self. Well, you didn’t have to be such a mood killer, now did you? However, you drew the line when he said that it was sad how you didn’t make your husband immortal as well, and that it must have been because you were selfish. You let your emotions get the better of you, as this was a matter concerning the man you loved. Thus, Douma was trampled by the 72 infinitely stronger demons. Not completely dead, but he did not recover fast enough to stop you from making your escape.

Akaza

He wanted to challenge you to a fight to see if you were strong, but Muzan had ordered him not to. Unfortunately, for his shift, he was paired up with Kokushibo… the goody-two-shoes who always followed the rules. But, upon entering the room where you were tied to a chair, you said ‘I wish I could have been there. I could have healed your father, and your wife’.

This stopped the Uppermoon in his tracks, as there was no way you could have known about his life when he was a human. To be fair, you were a powerful sorceress, but to have this amount of power over him with just words. His partner didn’t have much mercy taken upon him either, and he knew that this would be a struggle.

At some point in the night, you sensed that the demon slayers were struggling due to a spell you had set in place, and you summoned the 72 demons you had on standby to pummel the two into the ground. You needed to escape, and you were aware that you wouldn’t be able to recite a spell quickly enough. You had to admit that you did feel bad for just layering on more pain, but to be fair, you were the one who was kidnapped first.

Gyokko

To say that he wasn’t excited to be ‘babysitting’ you would be the understatement of both his and your immortal lives. However, you weren’t exactly happy to be here either. Whenever you would attempt any form of small talk, he would bark at you to keep quiet and tell you that he was only here because the master had ordered him to be.

But, you were able to see into his human life, and you had to admit that he had been pretty fucked up as a kid. The villagers didn’t help either. You, in a moment of quiet, whispered that ‘an interest and fascination with the dead after seeing your parents’ corpses isn’t unusual’. This caught Gyokko’s attention, as he was constantly ostracized for his peculiar and even mortifying interest.

However, this little dance of trying to understand him was getting too tiring, so you summoned your 72 strong-as-hell demons and broke out of the restraints. It was saddening, as you wished to know his entire story and how you could help him reach the Celestial Realm. But, it was no longer your concern. What was your concern was making sure that the demon slayers didn’t die for you.

Nakime

Upon meeting her, you knew that this would be a rather boring night. Her responses to any questions you asked were kept brief and to-the-point, not wanting to let you receive any more information than what Muzan deemed necessary. Plus, there was danger in you knowing more than you needed to know.

But, you were the most powerful sorceress in the world, and you already knew more information than was given to you. You even said that you thought her music was beautiful, but that her husband was shitty. Her hands stopped one one of the strings on her biwa, surprised at what you had said.

When you felt some of the demon slayers you had a personal connection to shout your name with the spell you had once given to your husband to seal away, you knew that it was time to wrap up the show. You ordered your demons to not kill Nakime, as you knew that it would disrupt the fate planned out for her, but they left her incapacitated enough for you to escape and help the demon slayers.

Daki 

So, she also wasn’t exactly pleased to be put on a shift. After all, the master was showing clear favoritism towards you. She wasn’t able to lay a single finger upon a single strand of hair on your head. But, she didn’t want to anger Muzan, and thus followed his order. However, she did not indulge in any small talk.

‘You are fortunate to have your brother, but it’s disheartening to know how you have struggled in life and in your current afterlife’. This caused Daki to do a double take, as she knew that there was no way you could have known about her human life. She had to recompose herself so that you wouldn’t be able to see her as vulnerable.

As the night went on, you suddenly got a chill down your spine: a demon slayer had been killed. You summoned all 72 demons and ordered an attack to get you out, and you broke out of the restraints. It was all a whirlwind, but you used your magic to make it an easier escape. You were very angry, to say the least.

Gyutaro

Another person who is not excited to be watching over you, but he had received a warning from his sister that you would try to manipulate him by telling him that you were saddened by his human life. So, he went in expecting it, but you didn’t say anything. Instead, you just watched him as he took a seat in front of you.

What you did say was, ‘You regret being a bad influence to your sister. Don’t be. You taught her to be strong and resilient, and I saw that during her shift.’ Well, you just hit close to home, didn’t you? Gyutaro didn’t really know what to say in response, so he just stayed quiet. However, he saw that you were very graceful and very tender, but he tried not to let his guard down.

Eventually, you got the all too familiar shiver down your spine, and you knew that it was time to leave and help the demon slayers. You summoned your demons, and you were sad that Gyutaro was fighting his hardest while the 72 demons on your side were barely giving their ten percent.

"Who-" Your cough cut you off, your throat was dry and parched after not having water in days. Those darn Upper Moons forgot humans aren't technically immortal! 

"You need water, right? Here." The person reached behind your head and untied your blindfold, holding up a gourd full of water to your mouth.

You slightly opened your mouth, and the demon slowly fed you the water. When you finished the gourd, you looked up at her in confusion. 

"You're like, my kidnapper, right? Why the hell are you being nice to me?"  You questioned her and began to notice the throbbing in your head and your sore neck.

"Correct. I will explain more to you, but if you have patience then you'll wait for me to retrieve my Master." She walks away from you, and towards the sliding door a few feet away. When she exits, you take the time to look around you. 

It was a fairly nice room, decorated with a variety of different flowers patterns along the walls. You took notice of a futon laid out on your right, and a wardrobe against the wall on your left. It wasn't horrible, it was really... welcoming. Weirdly welcoming. Weren't kidnappings supposed to be harsh? That's what happened when that one guy took you anyways, he trapped you in his basement with low resources to survive. Kind of like the concentration camps in the Holocaust. He forced you to do a lot of questionable things.       

'Why is it so nice? I'm not complaining I mean at least it doesn't smell bad.' 

You snapped your head as the sliding doors opened again, seeing one new person enter with the previous woman. He looked tall, pale, and slim. With red eyes that seemed to glow. 

"Michael Jackson?" You questioned, already feeling stupid from what you said.

"Who the hell is Michael Jackson?" They both stopped in the doorway, Muzan looking at you with somewhat disgust.

"She speaks English, Master," Uma replied to him.

"English, huh? You're a unique human. This will be your arrangement of staying. I'm glad to hear that you haven't been struggling. This isn't your first time being kidnapped, is it?" 

"No, it's not. I've been kidnapped before." 

"That's surprising. Though, it explains your state of calm." He continued walking towards you, and the woman followed behind him. 

"Yeah, where the fuck am I anyway? It's way too nice in here. It's really sus. You're sus." You tried to remember everything cringe you could to creep him out. "You're both sussy bakas. Muzan grinned in amusement, "Your training will start tomorrow. Please be prepared. Don't try to escape, you will regret it." He seems to have teleported behind you, (or is he just that fast?), and he untied all of the ropes.

"Thank you. If you're gonna keep me here long, can I at least have some names?" You spoke, rubbing your wrists because the ropes made them sore. 

"Of course, call me Muzan, and the woman beside me you shall refer to as Uma. We'll be taking our leave now." He turned around and left with Uma, closing the door and locking it behind him. 

"Master, why do you treat her with such respect? A mere human like her doesn't deserve any until earned." 

"Because. Do you dare question me? I simply do not want her to struggle early on because we treated her badly. I think it would be best to gain her trust. Maybe she'll help us more along the way because she has more trust in us."

I got to thinking about Inuyasha’s male cast and their beautiful hair and started to wonder… “how much of the appeal of these guys is just the hair?” So, for the amusement of no one but myself, here’s how I think the lads would fare in regards to the simping department if they had short hair instead. (Not included: Shippo and Kohaku bc they are children).

Inuyasha: Inuyasha would be okay I think. The dog ears definitely help but at the same time, a lot of this guy’s appeal is his personality so he’d still be attractive, he’d just look more like the local angry delinquent instead of a feral teenager you found under a bush.

Miroku: Miroku already has short hair comparatively speaking and he does just fine. As we saw briefly in the sequel that won’t be named, Miroku with long hair has too much power. He’s holding himself back for the good of the world.

Koga: This is a harder one cuz I can’t imagine Koga with his hair down, let alone with it short, but again I think he’d still be hot. Koga already has a lot going for him like being buff, tanned and having bright blue eyes. He’d probably be less of the local delinquent like Inuyasha and more the leader of the local biker gang.

Sesshomaru: This one’s gonna get me some hate but a lot of Sesshomaru’s appeal is his hair. All the art I’ve seen with it short and he automatically turns into just some dude. This man without the long hair and elaborate armour would get mistaken for an accountant who may or may not also be a serial killer.

Naraku: Naraku has a lot working in his favour. Black hair and red eyes is a combination that works extremely well in anime, (see Alucard, Sebastian Michaelis, Vincent Valentine, any of the Uchihas and Muzan Kibutsuji) and on top that, Naraku is pretty tall and has #CurlyHairSupremacy privilege so yeah, he’d definitely still be appealing. May also look like Michael Jackson, take that however you wish.

Byakuya: Byakuya is very obviously a gay man and if you take the long hair away, it’s just going to make him look even more like a twink. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, I’m just pointing out the obvious.

Bankotsu: Bankotsu is fine as hell and he’s gonna stay that way regardless of what his hair is doing. He’s got the same benefit of swagger that Inuyasha and Koga have which means he could still pull it off even if he looked different.

Jakotsu: Everything I said previously about Byakuya? Well it’s basically the same principle here and again, not a bad thing, just stating the obvious. Ironically these pretty boys having long pretty hair saves them from full twink status.

Bonus!

Toga: Toga is a difficult one. Ultimately I think he’d be somewhere between inuyasha and Sesshomaru with enough of a strong design and personality to still be appealing…but not as appealing as he was before.

Kirinmaru: Kirinmaru, like Naraku, is going to do pretty well with short hair bc he has a complimentary colour scheme of red hair and green eyes, is tall and again has the much-coveted #CurlyHairSupremacy.
