hi my name's nami, i'm 21, and i'm here with a very self indulgent researcher oc from pokemon who is INVESTED in researching the phenomena known as "living crystals" after an interaction in area zero. he was an ex-researcher in the area zero research division alongside the professor of paldea. before he was let off with the rest of them, he had an "interaction" with what lied below that would impact him forever.

characteristics. skinny with some strong legs, average height at 5'8", waving hair often tied in a rat tail, wears a lot of sweaters and often has a big backpack that carries lots of research documents, he is surprisingly strong but only because he carries around a 100 pound backpack everywhere.

history. ruri was a researcher working with devon corporation, then later with the professor of paldea in area zero. before the staff was discharged, he had an interaction near the depths with the indigo disk that caused him to go into a to have a seizure. this lead to him being the first one to be discharged, and then later the rest of the staff would be as well. after that, ruri would be sent back to hoenn, though with a newfound want to research what he found...and find phenomena similar. to which he dubbed the 'living mineral phenomena.' later he simply calls them living gems or living crystals. he has currently published hypothesis, and is working on papers to release after proper documentation that confirms the existence of these 'living minerals.'

Of course, Craig wasn't a jerk. Even though it was one of his better photos, he'd delete it if she really wanted him to. It's the subject who has final say, after all.

" Oh, fine... If you really want me to delete it, I will. " sighing, Craig opened his camera gallery and selected the picture in question. With a click, the picture was gone. Though it hurt his soul a bit, it wouldn't be right to keep it against the other's wishes.

i have so many fucked up unhinged verses. missingno, plasma, the two separate rocket verses (gilly and plane :ratpoint:), flare, the achroma one- i love it when he goes through unfathomable horrors.

but also those evil verses where the twins are together still because the way emmet would do all the dirty horrible bloody jobs so ingo doesn't have to even if it messes up his psyche 💖💖💖

bro wtf i thought i fixed that anon button last week.......... BUT ARGH NAMI THANK YOU.... his ambition is definitely one of the aspects of him i’m most passionate about and love delving into the most, because i really feel like the fanworks really glaze over how deep it runs, so i feel compelled to talk about it extensively because it’s such a key part to his character, you know? it’s in his name and everything, and it’s why i really want to talk about his connection with azelf in-depth one day, too. 

and thank YOU i love going off about the celestica and worldbuilding their lore; it’s been a lot of fun throwing ideas at the wall with jess and building things off from research and deep-diving. i love playing with the celestial aspects 8′) glad you enjoy the metas, too! it’s always so nice and reassuring that people enjoy reading those things, because i always worry i’m prattling on and on
