The couple sat on the floor holding each other for nearly an hour, until not a single tear was left in Koge’s eyes. Tenderly, Bakugou urged her to sit up from him, cupping her cheeks with both hands as he kissed her forehead. “My Koge… I’m glad you finally let me in. But for now, I think that working on a plan should wait until tomorrow. You’ve had a long day. Besides, we have all weekend just to each other.”
Sniffling, Koge placed her hands over his, looking him in the eye for the first time that night. “You’re… not going in tomorrow?”
“No. And not the day after, either. If you need me to stay even longer, then I will.”
“But… your numbers…?”
“We have enough in savings to use if I need to take a little extra time off. That stuff doesn’t matter, you don’t have to worry about that.” Taking a bit of a risk, Bakugou leaned forward to kiss her lips softly, feeling his heart lift when she returned it. Although it pained him to admit, he couldn’t remember the last time they had shared more than a simple peck on the lips. Being with her like this, sitting on the floor and sharing such an intimately emotional moment, he realized that he had truly been missing her. She had been like a ghost, moving through each day on a numbed routine, with forced smiles and hidden struggles. But now that everything was out, he hoped to be able to help her recover, no matter how long it took them.
When she pulled away, the timidness and low self-confidence quickly took over, prompting her to shyly look away and rest her forehead against his collarbone. “I… I’m sorry the food got cold…”
“That’s not a big deal. That’s what microwaves are for. Are you still hungry?”
With her small nod, Bakugou stood, picking up her petite body as he did. He could admit to himself that he had been able to see and feel the change in her body as she gained weight, but it was nothing that bothered him in the slightest. In fact, the way the weight settled on her body only further accentuated her already curvy figure, and from the glimpses he had been able to catch lately before she hid herself, it was more attractive to him than she would probably ever believe.
He wasn’t sure how he was ever going to get across to her that she was still just as beautiful to him as she had always been, that gaining weight and having some body issues after having two children was understandable. Not only that, but it was reversible, if she truly wanted to get back into her fit body.
Setting her down gently on the edge of the bed, Bakugou gave her flushed cheek another soft kiss before he gathered all the food together. “Hot food, comin’ up. You want anything else?”
A small smile crossed Koge’s lips, running her fingers through a lock of her hair. “Whisky?”
“Straight?”
“With ice. Please?”
“You got it.”
Once all the food was heated, Bakugou was sure to bring everything up in one trip, even holding a plate of his pasta between his teeth. That was on purpose, of course, and Koge giggled at the sight of him, standing and trotting over to help once he returned.
“Katsuki, you didn’t have to bring it all up at once.” She took her plate and the bottle of whisky, allowing him to hold his plate like normal.
“But I did. The less I have to go up and down the stairs, the better. I swear, when the kids are all out of here, I’m building us a one-story house.” Placing two cups filled with ice down on the nightstand, he plopped to sit on the bed. “And besides, I wouldn’t dare make you wait another second for food and whisky.”
Everything felt normal for a while. They could talk and laugh, pick on each other and play around like there was absolutely nothing in between them. And though he tried to ignore it, with a little help from the alcohol, Bakugou still couldn’t help but notice how Koge ate nothing but the vegetables from her plate and picked the crab meat out of the crab poppers. But he was glad that she was eating and that her body image issues hadn’t scaled into a disorder of any kind. She even picked some veggies off his plate and ate the squid that hadnt been fried that he offered to her.
It came to a stop when she suddenly lost hold of her chopsticks, giving a small gasp as they fell onto her pants, staining them with the sauce off the food in a sticky mess. “Aw man…” Setting her plate down with a visible pout, Koge picked up the chopsticks and piece of squid off her lap, plopping it back with the remainder of her food. “These were my last clean sweatpants… Or pajama pants in general.”
“You want me to go throw them in the washer?” Bakugou spoke with a cheek full of noodles, which was the last of his food. “I can start a load of your clothes for you, if you want.”
With a small shake of her head, Koge stood, making her way into their ensuite. Before she vanished behind the wall, Bakugou could see that sad gleam in her eyes, and the enjoyment up until now was crushed to a halt. Giving a sigh, Bakugou finished off the whisky in his glass, putting his plate on the nightstand along with hers. If things were normal, Bakugou knew exactly how she would have reacted. She would have laughed it off, stripped the pants off and just went with what was left. Instead, she felt the need to hide from him.
“Utsuro… Come out.”
“I have to find something else to wear…”
The cracked and worried tone of her voice brought a frown to his lips. “You don’t. Just come out… I want to tell you something.”
After a moment of silence, Koge timidly shuffled out of the ensuite, her cheeks flushed bright red and eyes glazed with worried tears. Clutching on tightly to the hem of the t-shirt, she had obviously tried to pull it down as far as it would go, but it still stopped at her upper thigh. With a small wave of his hand to beckon her forward, Bakugou held his hand out to her until she approached, though she couldn’t quite look at him.
“I… My legs are ugly…”
Scooting closer to the edge of the bed with his feet resting on the floor, Bakugou took both of her hands tenderly, pulling her in closer to stand between his legs. “There’s not a single ugly thing on you. Except maybe this shirt. What is that stupid shit, huh? What type of dumb ass walks around with skulls like some type of loser emo.” Sly smile crossing his lips as Koge couldn’t resist a small scoff, Bakugou let his arms rest around her legs as she put hers around his neck, hiding her face in his hair.
“Well, I got it out of a certain loser emo boys’ closet. Y’know, along with all his other black clothes and skulls.” Koge let her body rest in closer to his, softly stroking the back of his head as she relaxed into his embrace. “He really is a loser emo boy… But I love him so much.”
Taking her closeness as a hint that he could touch her, he carefully caressed the small of her back with one hand, while the other rested against her outer thigh. “Hmm… Do you?” Tenderly, he placed kisses along her neck, letting his hand slowly travel up towards her hips. “Well, I bet that emo boy loves you, too.”
He could feel her tense up a bit as he reached the borders of her underwear, which was the first place he could truly feel the slight plushness that had made her so self-conscious. In truth, all it did was make him yearn for her, to explore her beautiful body that he hadn’t gotten to see, let alone touch, for many weeks. He had wanted her so badly, just as he had always wanted her, but he had been pushed away every time. Unlike before, now he understood, but that made his wanting all the more intense, because he wanted to show her how much he adored her in a physical way. Over the years of being with her, he had gotten better at words, but he still preferred actions. To touch her, to adore every inch of her and pleasure her is what he wanted to do, but it was also something he didn’t want to push.
Letting his hand slide back down her thigh, Bakugou looked up at Koge as she sat up a bit from him, a conflicted embarrassment on her face. “Katsuki… I… I’m so scared that you won’t find me attractive anymore… How could you, when all you’ve known is how I used to be…”
“It’s not all I’ve known, Utsuro. I was attracted to you when you were thin and still building muscle. When you were strong and built. At every stage of being pregnant and after. And now. Always. It’s not just your body that makes me attracted to you. And right now, you look damn sexy in my shirt, like you always have.”
“You mean it…?” Koge softly trailed her finger along his jawline, her pale blue gaze glancing over his face. Gripping her hips, he pulled her in a bit closer to place a soft kiss on her lips, which she seemed reluctant to let end.
“I mean it. And if it makes you feel better, I don’t have to look. I can just touch. Or we can stop. Whatever you want.” Although he would stop, as he said, Bakugou hated the thought of her denying his affection again. Sure, he missed making love to her greatly, but it wasn’t just that. In truth, he was at a loss for what to do right now. He wanted to bring her some sense of happiness, some pleasure in any way that he could right then. The food had worked, at least a little, but he figured that if he got the chance to share that intimate moment, he could do and say more to get her to hopefully believe him.
That familiar heat grew fiercer in his chest as Koge let her fingers softly trail across his bottom lip, her expression a mix of confliction and irresistible arousal. She was so soft, so beautifully flushed and full of desire that she had been denying them that Bakugou could barely restrain himself. His affection being unwelcomed was something that he had experienced before with her, but it had never been this long or this dark. Still, he waited for her answer, and when a small smile finally crossed her lips, his heart all but leaped out of his chest.
Resting herself back against him, Koge kissed him gently, though it wasn’t as it had been before. She was open and accepting of his love, his support, and his help to turn all the negativity around. Like anything else they went through, this was something they could conquer together, through time, patience, and love.
Love. That’s all that Bakugou wanted to give her now, to shower her in affection and adore every inch of her. With the permission given, his hands picked back up where they had left off, sliding up the soft skin of her thighs to her hips. Although she never specified what was allowed, he knew that she would be the most comfortable with taking it slow, touching but not seeing. And so, his hands wandered as they pleased.
Slowly trailing under the hem of her underwear, his hands slid around to grip and squeeze her backside, which had become more of a handful than he remembered. It only turned him on further, however, and he couldn’t resist making the kiss more passionate. She reacted better than he expected, gasping softly into the kiss as she opened her mouth to allow him in. Even more surprising, she crawled up to straddle his lap, which brought his hands further down around the curve of her ass. Her sex was already hot and wet enough for him to be able to feel it through her underwear, which was only further confirmation that she wanted this just as badly as he did.
Although going straight to pleasuring her was enticing, he abandoned her hips, one hand traveling up her sides while the other slid back down across her thigh. “Damn it, Utsuro,” Bakugou growled against her lips, catching her gaze as she shifted her hips tighter against his. “You’re so damn soft. I could just touch you forever.”
Touching him as if she were exploring his body for the first time, Koge trailed her fingers along his torso, tracing the hard form of his muscles against the soft fabric of his t-shirt. “Me too, Katsuki…” Once her hands reached his hips, they only continued, running along the form of his semi erect member that was already straining against his shorts. “You’re so perfect… Sometimes I can’t even believe that you’re mine… That I’m so lucky.”
With the gentle pleasure that rolled through his body at her touch, Bakugou returned the affection with his hands sliding up her back, slipping beneath the band of her bralette she was wearing. Another oddity that would have never happened before, but the simple fact that it was his favorite little lace one made him all the more excited. “If anyone’s lucky, it’s me.” Carefully, Bakugou scooped her up and laid her down beneath him, kissing her softly in comfort as his hands trailed down her sides. “You’ve stuck with me though all the bullshit. Given me two beautiful children. Helped push me, even when it seemed like I’d have to give up. You’re my everything and I’m the one that’s lucky.”
Cheeks flushing with his sentimental words, Koge found herself at a loss for what to say, only able to kiss and hold him. If Bakugou were honest, he would be perfectly happy just staying with her like this for hours, but he knew that wouldn’t be enough. No, it just wasn’t enough to show how much he loved her and adored every inch of her, and he knew that he had to give her more. So, slowly, his lips began to trail down across her neck, pushing her shirt up. He didn’t get any further than right below her breasts when she stopped him, her hands lightly squeezing his arms.
“K-Katsuki, I… I’m nervous.”
“I know. I told you, I won’t look. And you can stop me any time.”
Taking her hands softly stroking down his arms as permission, Bakugou closed his eyes as promised, even though the urge to see her was nearly unbearable. The feeling of her breasts falling free from the shirt as he pushed it up made his heart begin to race, only able to imagine how beautiful they looked tucked into the little bralette. The mix of the lace and her skin were soft beneath his touch as his fingers traced along the perfect curve, his thumb lightly rolling over her erect nipple. Unable to resist the need to squeeze, he rested his forehead against her collarbone, massaging and squeezing with a gentle eagerness. For a moment, he felt like a stupidly horny teenager getting to touch boobs for the first time, silently scolding himself for getting so excited over this.
Even worse, the position they were in already has his member pressing up against her sex, and even though his shorts were in the way, it took all his control to not start grinding against her. To make sure he could resist, he began to make his way down her body, kissing and caressing every inch of her chest and stomach. All the defined muscle lines he was familiar with were gone, her body so soft and plush that he found himself just wanting to touch her all over. She may have hated it in a way that he couldn’t understand, but damn, did it drive him crazy, especially since he could only touch and picture her beautiful figure in his mind.
By the time he reached below her belly button, she was trembling and breathing heavily, as if her anticipation was on the peak of driving her mad. Or was it nervousness?
“Are you okay, Utsuro?” Bakugou spoke low with his lips still against her skin, his hot breath making her shiver. He could hear her swallow hard as his fingers slipped beneath the hem of her underwear, though he didn’t waste a second in slipping them off as she lifted her hips up for him.
“Yes, I’m… I’m okay. Your hair is just a little tickly.”
Smirk crossing his lips, Bakugou gripped her ribs softly, nuzzling his nose against her lower stomach to let his hair run across her skin. “Oh yeah? Are you sure it is?”
With a series of giggles and twitches as he tickled her, Koge put both hands on the top of his head, trying to push down to make him stop. “Katsuki, don’t--” Her giggles turned into laughter when Bakugou pressed his lips against her skin, giving her a full-on raspberry while squeezing her ribs. “No! Stop, I can’t-!” Struggling against his grip, Koge was distracted just long enough to not quite notice Bakugou moving further between her legs, until his tongue ran up along her sex.
Bakugou could feel the tips of his ears grow hot just from the sound she made, her body shuddering as an airy moan escaped with her laughter. Her fingers still in his hair, they released their panicked grip to instead stroke softly, relaxing as her body did against the pleasure. Just as his tongue trailed slowly against her clit, his hands stroked along her body, from her thighs, across her hips, and up to squeeze and caress her breasts. His touch was so gentle, as if he were handling a precious and fragile piece of glass that had already begun to crack. This is truly how Koge had become, so physically and emotionally broken that she had already started to fall to pieces.
But now, he had the chance to heal her, to slowly start putting her back together again using his touch. She allowed him, moaning softly as her hips rocked with his movements, and it wasn’t long before her voice began to hitch and tremble. “K-Katsuki… Please…!” Her begging was expected, as Bakugou tended to tease and edge her mercilessly in any normal situation. Now, however, was not the time for that. So, he let her cum, holding onto her hips tightly as she twitched and bucked against him with the soft waves of pleasure.
As she calmed, Bakugou kissed his way back up to her lips, where she welcomed his kisses eagerly. Already, her fingers were tugging at his shorts to get rid of them, and not wanting to keep her waiting any longer, he was quick to oblige. With her body open and ready for him, there wasn’t another minute wasted before he began to slip his hard and aching cock into her, catching her gaze with his own to watch her expression. He loved seeing the flushing of her face, her brow furrowed, and lips parted with a sweet and soft moan.
“You’re so fucking beautiful.” Arms propping him up on either side of her head, he buried his fingers into her hair as he kissed her once more, beginning to rock his hips to move himself against her ever constricting walls. Wrapping her arms around his torso, Koge gripped onto the fabric of his shirt tightly, legs loosely hugging his hips to leave as little space between them as possible. It was so warm, so slow, hot, and passionate that within moments, they became completely lost in each other. He kissed and praised her, showering her with as much love and affection as he possibly could while pleasuring her to the fullest.
Still, as he had promised, he never once took his eyes off her face to look at her body, not even as the remaining clothing was stripped away to leave them bare. No matter how badly he wanted to, he refused to break that line of trust he had struggled to regain. After all, it wasn’t as if he needed to see her. All he needed to see was the love and pleasure in her teary gaze, the smile that crossed her lips, and the adorable way in which the tip of her white freckled nose flushed darker than her cheeks with each praise and touch.
As the pleasure began to peak, Bakugou pressed his forehead into hers, refusing to break eye contact. “Listen to me, Koge,” He spoke through ragged breaths, picking up the pace and plunging himself deeper into her depths. “I fucking love you. No matter what you think, how you look, or what you feel, I will always love you.”
The tears that had welled up in her eyes finally fell free as Koge latched onto him tighter, refusing to let him go as the pleasure began to overwhelm her. “I-I love you, too, Katsuki! More than anything. Always!”
After sharing one more kiss, Bakugou buried his face into her shoulder, holding onto her tightly as he pushed them both over the edge. The sweet sounds of her moans, adorable squeaking voice, and trembling body would have easily been enough to spur him on to give her more, but as he released inside her, his pleasure was mixed with an overwhelming need to just hold her. And so, he did, soaking in her presence as they stayed connected, so close and intimate in a way that only lovers knew.
His daze was interrupted by a soft hiccup, bringing him to sit up and look down at her. Tears still spilling down her cheeks, Koge brought her hands around to caress his neck, lightly massaging and scratching the base of his hairline with her nails. “Katsuki… I… I’m sorry.”
“For what? Being so damn perfect?” Placing both hands on her cheeks, he wiped the tears away before leaning in to kiss her sweetly, even against her soft giggles. “Or for snotting all over my cheek? Or crushing my head with those sexy thighs?”
Cheeks flushing, Koge shook her head, smile plastered to her lips. “No! I’m sorry for… worrying you. And… for not letting you look at me. I could tell you wanted to.”
“We’re not out of the woods yet, Utsuro, but I’m not worried anymore. You don’t have to be alone in this.” Resting on his elbows, Bakugou moved her hair out of her face gently, kissing her sweaty forehead before trailing the kisses down her nose and back to her lips. “And I don’t have to look at your body to be turned on by you. I have a pretty good imagination.”
Koge hummed softly against his lips, playfully twirling a lock of his hair between her fingers. “I know you do. My Katsuki… You’re too good to me.”
“Shut up, you know you deserve it.” With a final kiss, Bakugou sat up from her, removing himself from within her before plopping down to sit between her legs. Still keeping his promise, he took a moment to rub his tired eyes and ruffle his hair. As expected, she had pulled the blanket over her body by the time he was done, but he didn’t bother making any kind of snarky remark. Instead, he ran his hand up and down along her thigh, enjoying her soft skin beneath the rough texture of his palms. “I will admit that it’s hard for me to not want to squeeze you constantly right now, though.”
Koge held her arms out towards him, wiggling her fingers. “No one ever said cuddling was still out of the question.”
For a moment, Bakugou felt his heart beat heavily at how absolutely… bright Koge looked. Compared to the dull, grey woman that he had been witnessing fading more and more over the last few months, she had changed so much already. She was glowing, smiling and flushed, with a radiating sense of hope. She had accepted his support, his help, and with time, he knew that they could fix this together.
Without uncovering her body, Bakugou got beneath the blankets with her, holding her body close as she snuggled up against his chest. “If it’s allowed, then I will gladly take it. My Koge…” Running his fingers through her hair to move it out of her face, Bakugou kissed her forehead gently, unable to resist his own smile as she hummed happily. “I love you, my beautiful salty woman.”
“And I love you, my sweet explosive man. Always.”
“Always.”

The SDRA2 Crew stumbles upon a strange blog that appears to be writing about them in strange situations! How do they react? (Choose your three favorite imagines from any SDRA2 imagine blog and write the crew reacting to them)
This one has been sitting in the ol inbox for the longest. Only because I couldn’t freaking think of anything! I’m super sorry, nonnie! But your long awaited post is here!
“Ow! Hey!” Called one voice, “Stop shoving me!” Called another filled with anger. “Why are we all here?” A bitter voice said, standing out in the group. “I’m n-not s-sure..M-Mikado w-wanted to s-show is something..” A shy voice mumbled, it belonging to none other than Iroha Nijiue. “Show us something? It better be worth it, and if I get shoved one more time, I will start biting all of you!” Nikei yelled out in anger, his eye twitching from annoyance. “S-Sis! D-do you think h-he has something p-planned..?” Kanade asked, lightly squeezing the older sisters hand. Hibiki looked over her shoulder wii a bright smile, shaking her head. “No, I’m sure he doesn’t! And if he does, we can take him!”
“I don’t trust this, not one bit.” Yokuro stated, with a small frown on her face. Crossing her arms over her chest with a small huff. “A..At the very least, it wouldn’t hurt to see what this is all about, right? If it’s bad, we can always leave and be on with our day.” Yuki stated quite loudly, to calm the chatter from amongst the group. “You do have a point, Yuki..but where is he?” Sora questioned with glancing around the cafeteria, but there wasn’t sign of the magician.
“Who knows, but if he doesn’t show up soon I know I’m leaving.” Syobai grunted, with his hands shoved deep into his pockets. Looking as if he had rudely woken up, which probably was the case in all honesty. “We’ve been here for about ten minutes or so, maybe he forgot?” Commented Emma, with a slight puzzled expression herself. Kokoro only shook her head in response to Emma’s comment. Taking a moment, before speaking herself.
“It’s..unlikely, Sannoji knows fully well what he is doing. If I had to take a guess..he’s most likely is waiting to see whether or not if were going to leave.” Kokoro sighed, pushing up her glasses to the bridge of her nose. “Aww, why must you ruin my fun, Koko?” The one and only magician Mikado Sannoji pouted, poking his head through the ceiling. Not to worry, it wasn’t damage for he was using maaagic. Dropping through fully, only to land onto the table holding a laptop in his hand.
“Can we go now?” Nikei grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest adverting his gaze from looking at Mikado. “Now now, your in such haste to leave Mr. Yomiuri. You’re going to miss the most important thing of all!” There was slight mischief mixed with his tone as he placed the device onto the table, opening it up, showing the website that read, ‘Mumblr’ “Eh? Mumblr? I think I’ve heard of that site before.” Setsuka piped up, taking a small step closer for further inspection.
“Whatever it is, coming from you Mikado it’s bad news.” Boy, was Nikei radiating hatred towards the magician. Making the others confused as to why, from what they’ve seen. The two hadn’t interact as much, but looks can be deceiving. “Someone must have waken you up on the wrong side of the bed, Huh Nikei.” Hajime snickered slightly, lightly smacking the male on his back. Nikei flinched as a result, but calmed down rubbing his temple. “Probably, just didn’t get enough sleep last night. I was to busy writing my latest scoop until it was five in the morning.” He said, as if it was the most casual thing in the world.
“What?! You have to get at least eight hours of sleep!” Emma shook the journalist for a moment concern laced in her voice looking down at him. “I will tonight! I promise..!” Nikei has gotten dizzy from Emma’s shaking, but still able to give a proper response thankfully. “I’m going to hold you to that, Nikei.” Slowly, she stopped shaking him and flicked his hat. “Now that those two have gotten things settled, how about we check out some lovely things that I’ve found about us? It’ll be interesting for sure!” Mikado clapped his hands together.
His mask showing just how joyful he was to do this. “Eh? Go for it, I’m curious myself!” Teruya chimed, poking his head through to get a closer look at things. Mikado only laughed in response as he clicked the blog by the name of @imaginefanganronpas .
“Imagine fanganronpas? What’s a fanganronpa?” Hibiki asked, as the group slowly expanded around Mikado to each take a look at the computer. “Who knows, but I found something amazing, don’t you know! It’s called Despair Remnants Au! I can’t wait to read it!” Mikado took a moment, clearing his excellent reading voice and began reading.
“I-It’s about us t-turning e-evil and k-killing innocent p-people?! A-And I lost my eye?!” Iroha squeaked, clinging onto Sora our of pure fear. “Aw, I lose my tongue..? What a shame..” Mikado pouted not seeming to fazed by what he just had read. “I think I’m going to be sick..” Yokuro replied, looking away shaking her head. The thought of killing someone was who didn’t sit right with her stomach. Seeing how this person got her personality accurate, but..the killing..she would never do that, no matter what. She refused.
Yuki had a blue expression on his face, but Shinji’s gently placed a hand onto his shoulder squeezing it slightly. “Hey, it’s okay..little bro. It wasn’t real, only fake..you know as well as I that we wouldn’t do something like that. That goes for all of us, we wouldn’t ever hurt any innocent people, it’s just not who we are!” Shinji really was one of the people that brought happiness to the group. Keeping them maintained, Setsuka nodded her head in agreement. “Shinji’s right! We aren’t monsters, Big Sis knows knows as well as everyone else, that we would never do that. This is only like a spooky story! Halloween is right around the corner, ya know!”
That..managed to calm down the majority of them. “If that’s what you believe, I say it’s possible that it could or might have already happened and we just don’t remember it.” Syobai smirked, taking a hand out of his pocket scratching his chin. “But who knows, I might just be rambling, the point is. We all might be different in comparison to what we’re all acting like here.” It was simple, but enough to send chills down their spines. “Rei..Tsurugi..” The former merchant softly muttered, his eyes filled with sadness and worry.
“Don’t worry, Mr. Otori, I’m sure your companions are..safe.” Kokoro replied, looking at the merchant with a small nod of her head. “Is it just me, or is no one going to bring up that Emma and Kokoro kissed while blood was raining on them, Yokuro was with some person named Akane..and there was some guy named Utsuro?” Kanade suddenly spoke, for once without her usual stutter. Emma turned a faint shade of red, shaking her head and waved her hand for a moment.
“It was just a story, there isn’t a need to look into things, Ms. Kanade.” Mikado chuckled his mask changing expressions to one of pure happiness. “Now let’s move onto another one! I find this one to be quite..up lifting. At least, for those involved anyway. This next blog is called, @dra-and-sdra2-imagine-writer -writer . “This small tale is about, Nikei, Hajime, Emma, and Iroha. Oo, I can’t wait to read it for you all!” Nikei barely recovered from what was just read earlier. “Why was I with Yuri of all people?” The small Russian who had been silent for the majority of the time finally spoke, with a small glare thrown the journalist’s way. “As if I would like to be stuck with a despicable male such as you.” His tone was harsh, as usual when it came to men, so Nikei wasn’t all to fazed only sighing. “I should have expected that..”
After the two had gotten shushed by Teruya, Mikado has began reading about the four. Leaving out the parts relating them to being void members. In all sweetness, it was short but put a light hearted mood to the group. Those void members glancing at each other with a mix of surprise, yet slight happiness. “I-I liked it..” Iroha smiles warmly at the small story, Emma agreeing along with her. “As did I, I believed it showed just how close our bond is.”
“So you guys are like a small family, huh? That’s good to hear.” Sora spoke, with a soft sigh escaping from her. “I..um..liked it too.” Nikei softly mumbled, pulling his scarf up slightly to cover his face. It was easy to tell that he was happy about the small tale, even if he wouldn’t show it. “Same! It’s way different from what just listened to a few minutes ago!” Hajime grinned slightly at about it. “I figured as much, now onto the last-“ Mikado was cut off by Hibiki yoinking the computer away. “I wanna read one! I’ll find a good one! Oh! Look, this one is by @sdra2writer-imaginesandhcs s ! What this story is about..hmm..let’s see, ah! The SDRA2 boys as yanderes for their S/o? What’s a S/o?” Hibiki asked not being able to come up with the meaning. “S-significant other..” Kanade whispered to the older sibling before shrinking back into the group. “Oh! Well anyway, let’s get started!” And so, Hibiki begun reading.
Boy, was that something they weren’t expecting. The girls shuffled away, to depart themselves away from the boys. “Come on, we wouldn’t do that!” Shinji tried to reason with them. They weren’t having that, “Let’s before they can try and pull something! Look! Yuri’s already trying something!” Cried Hibiki and that was enough to get the girls running, Emma having to pick up Kokoro hurrying off. The guitarist snickered to herself, as she ran after them in their hurry.
Meanwhile, Yuri wasn’t even doing anything, at the very least just having his arms crossed. “This is going to take forever to convince them we aren’t yandere’s..” Nikei groaned, burying his face into his hand. “Perhaps, but it was a fun time reading, no?” Mikado asked, looking at the direction of the girls had ran off, before back to the boys. “For a first time, it was..pretty good!” There was a small thumbs up from everyone’s favorite big brother. “Y-Yeah, S-Shinji’s right..! Come on, let’s go and try to convince them that we aren’t like that! Who’s with me!” There was several yeah’s aside from Syobai who seemed pretty disinterested with the entire thing.
With Yuki leading them, they were off to change the female’s minds. The only one left was Mikado who chuckled to himself glancing around to see if he was the only one. Looking at the screen there was joyful wave. “I hope you’ve enjoyed~!”
The stories that were used was,
Vamp’s: Renmant Au, both male and female.
Mine: The Void family without Mikado included.
Annnnnd from Noir’s: Sdra2 boys as yandere HC’s

Gintama Chapter 702 Review
youtube
I have been dreading for Gintama to return and not only I got my satisfaction, it exceeded my expectation. Although the chapter is shorter than last time, the content still packs a heavy punch to leave you feeling awed and invested. This chapter was an outstanding setup for the grand finale that I still have chills, goosebumps, and anything else that a man would feel when the hype is extraordinary. Once more, I’m dreading for Gintama to return.
It has been a while since the last chapter, though luckily for me, I still remember the setup and the events took place. I remember Takasugi reached to the top to confront Shouyo while Yorozuya is reunited and running towards where the two are at. Sadly, this chapter doesn’t begin with a gag like the last shift, but it’s all good when the series is at the intense climax. We’re in the endgame now.
The chapter begins with a really good hype build-up with yours truly, Sakamoto. That facial hair is doing wonder for his design as he come across like a really cool guy. That and the artwork is very solid throughout the chapter; clearly, Sorachi’s long break helps out the clarity. Back to Sakamoto, it’s all about the fate of the world, hence the chapter’s title. This moment raise the stake and increase the tension as it is the finale. It’s like the speech about history is written by the victor. The idea is this is the fight that will change everything; it’s the true endgame.
It is incredible that Earth stays getting attacked and always come close to world destruction. It’s practically fate by this point. Sakamoto always have a great speech in his arsenal and this is no exception. The pain and struggle always come for them, but their fate will deny the fate. It highlights all the Joui Four’s scenario respectively, a good reminder after a long break. It’s all about fighting to see the end and justify a reason they may or may not know. It’s inspiring and helps the hype level for what’s to come next.
Takasugi has been stellar throughout this arc. If he was like his old self before Shogun Assassination Arc, his ticking time bomb to death wouldn’t worry me. Now, I am anxious to know what his destination is. Needless to say, I’m deeply worry for the guy. With all that said, his confrontation with Shouyo is heartwarming; showcasing his great development. I’m really glad that he finally got to meet him alone. I wanted him to share his side of thoughts about his sensei, his comrades, and his own feelings.
As rough state Takasugi is in, he still smiles at the sight of his master. It’s not Utsuro, but Shouyo to his eye. He truly wants to go back home; back to the way things were. This was touching; I feel sorry for Takasugi. You can feel his words and expression how much he wanted to see him. The students may have split apart before, but now, they are returning back home. It’s a touching metaphor to say, “Family will always be family.”
The best part of the speech is when he contrast his life to Gintoki’s. In the midst of his speech, Otae was close to get crushed by blocks, but Yorozuya shows up in time to save her. Gintoki broke his staff and got hit by a block. It should be funny, but this quickly plays off as a moment to recover the best sword of them all. He is the man that moved ahead to the future and Takasugi’s role is his companion. The metaphor and the narration makes the moment emotional; I could draw tears. I can’t do it justice here, but the narrative flow is so good. Takasugi passing out got me praying; that’s how much I cared. He did recover, but then the scene segue to one of the most unexpected emotional scene this series gives so far, and that’s saying it a lot.
Out of all people to give us an emotional speech, it’s Utsuro/Shouyo himself. In fact, this is the best part of the chapter aside from the ending. Although he appears as Shouyo, it is best to be reminded that he’s the embodiment of all characters of himself within a body. In other words, he’s everyone; Utsuro, Shouyo, whoever. The idea is he acknowledge what and who he is, and nothing will change the fact he has long live to experience many life decisions. Even when he did die before, the memory remains, including Edo defeating him in the war. Honestly, this series presented very well how awful immortality can really be. He finally found the moment to die for good and this is for the best.
Shouyo’s speech doesn’t end there, but the scene does shift to Katsura and Hitsugi to connect the narrative of the end of Shouyo. There are few interesting notes here. Shouyo’s speech ties in to the moment where his heart was destroyed, because it truly is the end of him. Even if he were to gain a crystal, a replacement so to say, it’s only temporary. Basically, he’s human, and anyone with his blood will die along with him eventually. Technically, this is a plot twist and a damn good one. I’ll say it again, “We’re in the endgame now.”
What really captures my interest is Hitsugi as a character. I am stunned how Sorachi managed to make a mute guy and a third henchman into a sympathetic character and I like it. It’s another plot twist when you think about it. For a while, fans thought he’s favoring Utsuro to revive and restart the chaos once again. It turns out he is favoring him, but to put an end to his life; just as current Shouyo’s wish. It amazes me how any of his disciple truly loves him and knows what’s right. Clearly, he is the most beloved master.
I don’t know if this twist means other moments are red herring, but it’s more like us looking at the wrong direction. I thought he was a slave to Tendoshu, when in reality, he knows what needs to be done and reviving Utsuro isn’t it. What struck me the most is how he was able to understand the hardship and misery of Utsuro as immortal being. Even for a short while compare to Utsuro’s lifespan, it is a nightmare, so he wants to grant him death. What’s up with good writing making me feel sympathy for a character who is either evil or short-lived? I like how he wished the best for everyone associated with Utsuro a closure they deserved. Sleep well.
The best portion of the speech is here. After you take it all in with Shouyo’s wish and how the effect come in play, we learn how he truly feels about everything. It’s pretty emotional. His final move is to collide with Altana and cancel out the destruction to save Edo. It’s his only way to save a life and yet, he cannot save the loved ones that are his disciples. I don’t recall if I said this before and it doesn’t need to be said, but I’ll say it now: Shouyo is a tragic character.
He has been a great character, villain or not. Usually, a character can be good in one criteria, like a good person, but a crappy villain, or vice versa. Shouyo can work well for multiple roles. This is why he is well liked in the community. Because of good writing and sheer investment of these characters, I can sympathize his misery of not able to do well as immortal; can’t save not one disciple. Even offering a life with his blood, it only brought tragedy. When he cries, shoot, I begin to cry. He didn’t deserve this. He can make a great protagonist in a tragic series; I can’t say that’s a compliment. It’s sad as hell. Life truly sucks, and yet, he cannot die.
The chapter is covered with plot twists, so it might as well have one more and it’s the most shocking one. Imagine the mood you’re in after reading heartbreaking words from each characters; you’re overwhelmed with emotions. Then, the twist to top them all happens with a sheer suspense. A page left me wondering until blood is spill. Takasugi stabs Shouyo and it is gut-wrenching to fathom it. The twist is Takasugi is gone (for now at least) and Utsuro has taken over the body. Wow…
I didn’t see this coming. In fact, the way I saw it before this chapter was Utsuro is back in his own body and going to fight Takasugi before Gintoki arrives. Never would I guess Takasugi lose his conscious to Utsuro, but it makes a lot of sense. That’s why we needed to see Tendoshu as fallen victims to Utsuro. It all lined up well for this twist to happen. That said, it’s painful for Takasugi to be the man to kill his beloved master, before his very eye. Someone in the reddit pointed this out and it’s sadly true: both eyes witness the tragic fate with tears and death. Hasn’t he suffered enough? Bottom line, Utsuro is the final boss and it all comes down to the final scene.
I absolutely love the atmosphere of the aftermath of Altana destruction. Utsuro delivered bone-chilling words about Shouyo once again dies without saving anything. That’s just dark. After his line, the rest of the chapter goes silent and the visual storytelling kicks into high gear. What I love about this is how it is setting up for the final stage for the final battle. Gintoki is out of the rubble, resuming his chase for Shouyo. He arrives to the place, only to see his master dead. That’s awfully sad that he couldn’t fulfill the one path to see it through, and ironically, it’s because of Takasugi. The image of seeing your close friend being the murderer is morbid and disheartening. It’s even worse when Takasugi sadistically smile one more time before Utsuro completely takes over. Gintoki can’t catch a break at all.
The sad part is he has to kill the two of his loved one for a price of one. This series is cold when it truly needs to be. As sad it is, I can’t contain my excitement. The last shot with Gintoki and Utsuro standing got me floored with amazing amount of hype. Two men with a mission, the sun in the background, everything that has built up to this point. That shot is pure hype. It’s the final destination level of the final boss. This is Metal Gear Solid 4 final fight level of greatness. This is whatever you think it’s the best final stage tier. This is the endgame.
The whole arc has been stellar because it is more grounded, personal, and emotional. Have it end with a War Arc, it would have been pretty good, but not enough for total satisfaction. Granted, it was a solid War Arc, best in Shounen category, and opinions will vary, but a condensed concentration on few characters rather than everyone is much easier to digest, and the pacing flows more naturally. This is why the ending is shaping up to be incredible. Even if it is taking forever due to multiple trolls, fans will get the satisfaction they deserved, let alone Sorachi himself.
Bottom line, this chapter was outstanding for its incredible emotional roller coaster from various characters, excellent buildup for the final battle, and plenty of great panel shots with deep intensity and excitement. I can’t do justice on its atmospheric trip, especially the last couple of pages, but I had chills. The next chapter is hype of the hype. I have to think which soundtrack to use for the final battle. This is it. There’s no other way. Gintoki versus Utsuro as Takasugi. It all ends here.

Gintama manga chap 700
~
Dear Gintama gods and Sorachi-sama,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU FOR FINALLY LETTING THE YOROZUYA SEE AND ACKNOWLEDGE EACH OTHER!! So CLOSE! SO UNBELIEVABLY CLOSE! I CRIED! I wish they were actually in front of him so that they could finally have a proper hug together, but the fact that they actually got to lay eyes on him and support him was enough to make my eyes well up with happy tears. Their heart-breakingly desperate expressions as they called out to Gin-chan and his touching response in return made my heart clench up even more. I loved that he fought off the enemy with their weapons. I wish they could fight all the enemies off together, side-by-side or back-to-back again. Sorachi-sama, you’re really so cruel. How much longer must we wait for a real Yorozuya family reunion?
Still, I’m glad that everyone is getting closer and closer to Gintoki but again, I wish there wasn’t so much rushing.  I mean, finally, you granted one of my wishes from a long time ago and actually let Otae join in on the fighting this time around, but we didn’t even have time to enjoy it because everyone is rushing along. I know that sounds ridiculous considering the dire circumstances they’re under and the fact that they’re rushing for a good purpose, but for example, that moving exchange between Shinpachi, Kagura and the Shinsengumi boys happened almost so quickly and matter-of-factly that it didn’t feel like anyone even had the chance to digest it. And it was such a touching exchange too!  I had to stop a moment to cope with the emotions their words brought on. Tears flowed from my eyes because I was suddenly overcome with sadness. Even though their sentiments were composed of hope and joy and promise, their words also sounded so final that my heart started hurting. Why must this be the last time of anything?  I want the Yorozuya and Shinsengumi to be friends...forever...helping each other and thanking each other always. Sure, they can also hurl insults at each other, but I don’t want their relationship to only be based on snide remarks and snappy comebacks. I want to see them sit down together, share meals, share drinks, watch the rain, and have friendly tussles in the river bank or wherever else that may suit them. And it’s not just because I ship half of them to each other, but rather, I think after all they have been through, they have more than earned friendships to last a lifetime. Therefore, seeing any of them say “last time in this life” about anything simply fills me with gloom and a little fear since it also sounds foreboding. Not that I think anything would happen to the Shinsengumi...or, I should say, I hope not...but I would also be lying if I said I wasn’t a little worried.
Strangely enough, what I never worried about through the entire chapter was whether or not Takasugi was going to live. I know he came close to becoming dust particles a la Cyclops pirate Batou, but I still wasn’t convinced that would really be his end since he still hadn’t met up with Matako and Henpeita yet. I don’t think you would be cruel enough to deny them their last moment with the man whom they have followed most of their lives, especially Matako who lives him so much, so until that reunion happens, I have faith that you will continue to let Takasugi live. It was heartening once again to see the Joui boys fighting together as one unit united under the teachings of their beloved teacher; even though Zura was physically separated from Gintoki and Takasugi, it was obvious that spiritually he was still fighting there beside them. I especially loved that since Oboro’s blood was flowing through Takasugi, he was essentially fighting alongside them as well. I hope wherever he is, he will be just as proud and satisfied of the outcome his fellow classmates—nay, brothers will be able to accomplish to finally give the being that was once their teacher its final rest.
I know the general hubub has been that the next chapter will be the end, but honestly, Sorachi-sama, I don’t believe it. Not because I’m in denial, but I honestly cannot for the life of me see how you can possibly end everything in just one short chapter, whether it be 50 pages or 100 pages long. Just thinking about what you would have to cover in the next chapter to even end the battle on the ship—Sadaharu finally reviving and quelling the Altana stream (WHOO-HOO!!!!! PUPPY SAVES THE WORLD!!!!), the defeat of the (pardon me) stupidass Tendoshuu old farts (or Tendenists or whatever the hell they decide to call themselves next, I’m sorry, I really hate them) Takasugi’s ultimate fate, Baby Utsuro’s ultimate fate, Yorozuya’s full reunion, everyone’s full reunion—is enough to overwhelm me and give me a headache. I know you are always amazing, but realistically speaking, how could you tie all of those loose ends in neat, satisfying bundles in just one chapter’s length? If you were given the entire volume of the next Jump Giga, it still might not be enough but at least that will be better than just a mere chapter.
Unless, perhaps in the end, your intention was never to conclude Gintama in just three issues of Giga anyway? Perhaps you will indeed be ending the battle portion of this leg of the arc in the next chapter (“Climax of the climactic battle”), but then save all the more emotional moments—the reunions and final fates our two “villains” (yes, I do count Takasugi, since I will not forget that  at one time, he was THE villain of the series before Utsuro reared his crow head again) and, hopefully, everyone’s future outlook, for the next set of Giga volumes? I will be completely fine with that, Sorachi-sama. Of course ideally, I wish there will never be the end, but I will take any more Gintama I can get even if it means waiting longer and for only a finite number of chapters.
But as we head into the next chapter, I would like to make one humble request: if Takasugi were to finally reach his immortal limit and therefore meet his mortal end, please let Bansai be the one to lead him to the other side. I think I’ve mentioned before that I’m already resigned to the possibility we may very well lose Takasugi when this battle is over, and in many ways, I think that is probably the best ending for him. At least he will die a hero again and not a villain as he used to be, but I still want his journey to the afterlife to be a good one, so I hope Bansai will be by his side so his final trip will not be so lonely.  Your consideration is greatly appreciated.
Yours truly,
A silly fangirl with yaoi dreams

okay so i’m. done reading now and
gonna start with the stuff that i liked (if that’s...the right word for the emotion i was forced to feel there):
- zura seeing shouyou on the screen... “the brightest prodigy of my school” “i know i can count on you” “i want all of you to live”. i’m gonna tear my heart out can you fucking imagine being zura. everything is terrible i’m gonna cry again
- shouyou giving up his life to protect the future that gintoki has worked to build for himself and his loved ones is killing me. shouyou and takasugi having been so stuck in the past and both of them dying knowing that gintoki is looking to the future is going to legitimately kill me. i don’t necessarily like that this was the way shouyou gets resolved (it was a hell of a revolving door appearance) but i. appreciate...
- literally zura sitting there with that smile on his face saying “i cannot move from this spot” punched me in the throat. i made a Noise.
- the whole fucking. the fucking. the monsters and humans thing. i cannot express with human words what that did to me emotionally. the follow-up with gintoki calling him “shouyou” and then gintoki and the yorozuya supporting shouyou and just. y’all.
- honestly, soyo and nobume are incredible. just, imagining the dynamic between the two of them in private and in public is so much fun to me. i know they were introduced as being a team before but seeing them in action for even a couple of panels is Good
- sakamoto’s entire letter... i’m soft. he invites gintoki out to space and tells him that he’s sure shouyou is watching out for his students, still. he’s meeting up with zura. he updates gintoki on things zura is doing because zura sure isn’t going to tell gintoki that he’s doing this stuff.
-  “it is my belief that there are no such things as miracles in this world. and that all things that happen in this world have causes and happen for logical reasons. so i do not think your being saved was a miracle. and i do not think that a master protecting his disciples is a miracle. i believe that is something only natural” sakamoto i would die for you
- honestly the fact that takasugi’s death, shouyou’s death and the potential resulting grief aren’t really addressed directly are things i’m personally :( about but just. even indirectly knowing anything about the aftermath is good. zura following up with the kiheitai and keeping tabs with sakamoto really gets to me. i’m crying again
- i’m gonna be honest i practically started bawling at “we are always with you beneath your sky”. i can’t believe it’s over????? gintama really is a series near and dear to my heart and i’m really.
like i’m gonna have to give up on the “reread the past couple arcs thing” and just dive in and reread the whole thing instead. i really, really love gintama a lot actually. i’m experiencing waves of emotion right now
i do have a few things i personally was kind of :/ about in this chapter though, admittedly:
- did zura have?? any other direct confrontations/conversations with shouyou besides this moment where shouyou announces that he’s dying again? i mean i said this after 703 too but i think i really would have preferred it if zura got some more active involvement in the shoka sonjuku thing.
- what was the rest of the cast...doing...? this may just be me being totally unable to remember the plot that wasn’t directly related to joui/shoka sonjuku conflict but like. i have no idea what they’re doing or why they’re gathered like that at all
- also i kind of felt like the events of 703 should have had more impact than they did? maybe this is just me, and i know there’s limited space to turn the mood around for something like this, but the emotional weight of that whole confrontation just dissipating into thin air is a little unsatisfactory for me. perhaps this is because i cycled through Grief and i wanted to watch the characters also Go Through It. i’m in no state to say
- so i was skipping around chapters trying to figure out how exactly the fuck altana works and this chapter still. ?? ??????? what the FUCK is going on. like i’m trying to connect kouka with utsuro and shouyou and then figure out how the immortality/mortality thing works and how exactly it’s connected to the planet and the people who absorb it and. What
- i’m in general very :/ about shouyou’s appearance in this arc in general because. i mean he was there for like 2.5 chapters and then sacrifices himself? we had a couple of really nice pages with Themes (monsters and humans, past/present/future, found families etc) but overall? in the end we had that rehash of gintoki making a choice between his friends and his teacher but the benefits of that scene are arguable to me (just, personally? i guess i can see that this brought takasugi the closure and ending that he wanted and i guess it could have brought gintoki acceptance/resignation but idk. i think i probably had my own expectations set too much for this going differently). and zura barely got to participate in the actual shouyou bits, so even though that “brightest prodigy of my school” line hurt it also kind of felt cheap? i don’t have all my thoughts straight yet but shouyou burst into the plot and he+utsuro left gaping holes that just didn’t get patched very well i think
- actually the fact that zura has this one (?) interaction with shouyou and then his lines to gintoki are like “sensei may not have known, but he did have more than two students” is so hggfgfddfdfsf zura i’m so sorry. i’m laughing but also that’s legitimately tragic i’m so sorry
- i think in general this arc wasn’t entirely necessary, is the thing. we could have wrapped up before all this and it would have been perfectly good. we left off at a good spot. mind you there were some Really Good moments in this arc (partly because i’m a sucker...for joui 4 and shoka sonjuku brats....i’m sorry...) but they kind of have end up being good isolated from the plot surrounding them? if that makes any sense? this arc reopened a lot of old wounds but didn’t really stitch them up afterwards, and in some ways the ending feels a little out of place now.
bonus because i don’t necessarily hate it or like it but just. at first impact, the idea of baby takasugi is so funny to me. can you imagine??? you go through All That with your friend/rival/enemy/object of projected self-loathing/etc and in the end he dies in your arms but after you (presumably) come to terms with this whole thing and have announced that he lives on in your soul, he’s like. he’s a baby now. a fucking baby. i would lose my shit. i would kill him myself.
all in all i do Love Gintama and it just. means a lot. and i can’t believe it’s over. i think i said all three of those sentences multiple times already but i’m not over it, and i’m definitely going to be rereading this series (in bits and pieces or all at once maybe - not sure yet). thanks for 10+ years of my favorite found family content sorachi

Sea Legs
Ch. 10 - Attraction
Warning, Naughty Chapter: Foreplay and Sex
Boku No Hero Academia / My Hero Academia Quirkless, Mermaid, Modern AU
Rating: Explicit | Excessive Fluff, Blood, Wounds, Nudity, Sex, Cursing and Vulgar Language
Genre: Romance / Humor / Angst
Main Pairing: Katsuki Bakugou x Koge Naegi (oc)
A trip to her grandmothers beachfront home was something that Koge had done every year of her life. This time, an unlikely discovery would change her life forever. Who knew explaining how to be a human could be so hard.
By the time Koge found the courage to leave the bathroom, the movie was over and the bedroom was settled in suffocating darkness. If she weren’t so upset with herself, she would find it pleasant, a perfect environment for sleeping. It was apparent that she wasn’t the only one who thought so, able to hear Bakugou’s deep breathing and soft snoring from the bed. During her time moping in the bathtub, Koge came to realize that everything she had just done was a huge mistake. She had been so blinded by how much she wanted him that she hadn’t even stopped to think about his impressions of it all. He had just been curious about what human sex was, why he was so turned on by her and how it was typically taken care of. In the moment, she may have been driven by urges she should have kept in check, but that isn’t why she had gotten so frustrated.
In the back of her mind, she thought that maybe giving herself to him would give her some hint as to how he felt about her emotionally. From what she could tell, there hadn’t been anything that wasn’t just physical attraction, and that brought her down much more than expected. For all she knew, he would be gone tomorrow, and her stupid little crush would be nothing more than a decaying memory. Technically, she had gotten what she wanted, and he got to experience one of the most intimate things a human can go through in their lifetime. Bakugou was healthy and eager to get home, which was all Koge had originally set out to accomplish, so she knew that she needed to let it all go.
Standing there lost in thought, she didn’t realize that the sounds of Bakugou sleeping had stopped, until she noticed his reflective iris’ locked on her from across the room. It startled her so badly that she gave a small jump at first, bringing a hand up to her chest. “Ah, uhm… Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you.”
“You didn’t. Well… your smell did. You always smell good after a bath.”
Koge couldn’t stop the violent blush that ravaged her cheeks, shifting in her spot a bit before heading towards the small couch where she had been sleeping the past two weeks. “I’m… glad you think so. I guess…” Sitting down, she pulled the blanket up over her legs, though she didn’t lay down just yet. Bakugou gave a heavy sigh, the sound of the bed indicating that he had rolled over. “You’re that pissed at me?”
“No, Katsuki, I’m not mad at you.” Koge fiddled with a string that hung off the blanket, avoiding the eyes that she knew were still watching her. “I’m mad at myself.”
“What for? It’s like you said, it didn’t have to mean anything. It didn’t, right?”
“I--” Koge could feel the familiar burn of tears building up in her senses, struggling to speak against the lump in her throat. “You’re right. I’m just… Maybe I’m sad that you’re leaving in the morning. I’m gonna miss you.”
“Oh? Of course you are. But don’t think I’m gonna miss you! You’re the most annoying human I’ve ever met. But not as annoying as a lobster.”
Koge couldn’t help a short giggle, though it made her instantly lose control on the tears she had been trying to restrain. They were hot against her chilled skin, though she didn’t bother wiping them away. “I don’t believe you. I think you’ll miss me. I hope you will, at least…” With that, Koge settled herself to lay down, keeping her back to him in hopes that he wouldn’t see how truly upset she was about this whole situation. There was so much she wanted to tell him, about how much she truly liked him and how important every second they had spent together was. But she couldn’t. It would be pointless, afterall, and may just make their last moments together more awkward than they already were.
“Utsuro… why don’t you sleep over here.” Bakugou’s voice was quiet, as if his statement was supposed to be a silent wish or thought that she wasn’t supposed to hear.
“What? You… want me to?” Koge turned her head to look towards the bed, noticing that those reflective eyes were avoiding her as much as possible. There was only a soft grunt in response, but it was something Koge had come to recognize as a ‘yes’. After a moment of consideration, Koge peeled herself from the couch and made her way towards the bed, slipping beneath the covers. Facing her, Bakugou’s warm hand came up to caress her upper arm, and Koge could see the frustrated and confused furrow of his brow. “I just… can’t stop these stupid urges to touch you. To hold you… like they did in the movie…”
“You… mean cuddle?” Koge couldn’t resist the smile on her face, which only grew as he nodded. With a scoff, his hand came up and covered her face, making her giggle. “Utsuro, don’t look at me and smile like that! It doesn’t have to be weird, alright!”
Koge reached up and took his hand gently, shifting close to him as she guided his arm around her torso. “It’s okay, Katsuki. You’re right, it doesn’t have to be weird. Friends cuddle.”
“Do they?”
“Mhmm. Sometimes.” Koge felt his warmth spread through every inch of her body as she wiggled herself in, a soft sigh escaping her lips as he held her close. “You’re so warm… It’s odd, for a fish person.”
“I’m not a fish person right now. I’m human, like you.” Bakugou buried his face into her hair, making Koge’s face instantly burn like fire. “And there’s a lot of things about being human I don’t fucking understand. Like how damn stupid you make me feel. It almost makes me want to stay longer… Just to make sense of it.”
“You shouldn’t.” Koge closed her eyes, beginning to feel sleepy from the warmth and comfort of his embrace. “It will only make it harder… For both of us. We shouldn’t get any closer than this.”
“You’re right, Utsuro. Now go to sleep. Before we end up saying something we shouldn’t.”
Waking up with a strong arm around her wasn’t something that Koge was used to, but she had no reason to really complain. With Bakugou spooning her comfortably from behind, she felt as if she were wrapped in a warm cloud. She never wanted to move or get up, knowing the instant that she did, she would never have this again. Though, it quickly became apparent that he wasn’t quite as asleep as she thought. His hand slid around to caress her stomach, which was exposed from her tank top having ridden up during the night. Instantly, those butterflies returned, her heart beginning to race.
Don’t touch me like this, Katsuki… We already went through this, we can’t--
“Utsuro…” His deep voice in her ear instantly made her shiver, opening her eyes as his hand traveled up to caress her neck. Guided by his finger and his thumb against his chin, he urged her head to turn, so that she was looking up at him. It was obvious to her that he was still in some haze of sleep, his expression soft. But, his gaze was intense, only making her weaker. She knew there wasn’t going to be any way she could stop this if he started it, and in truth, she didn’t want to. She wanted all of him.
Instead of words, he continued by kissing her softly, which Koge couldn’t help but give in to. Bringing her own hand up, she buried her fingers into his hair, absentmindedly arching her body further into him. It was then that she could feel it, his cock pressing eagerly against her ass. Fuck, he makes me so damn hot. But I can’t! I shouldn’t…
“Can I touch you?” Bakugou spoke breathlessly against her lips, his hand having found its way back to her stomach. It was slowly making its way up to her breasts, his fingers inching beneath her shirt.
No—
“Yes.” Koges mouth spoke out of turn, kissing him again as his hand took action with her permission. Pushing her shirt up above her breasts, he first squeezed and massaged one, his hand large enough to tease it with ease. Koge couldn’t resist a soft gasp into the kiss when his focus moved to her nipple, pinching and rolling it about beneath his fingers. Sly smile crossing her lips, she turned her head away a bit, a fluttering bliss rolling through her body as his kisses continued along her cheek and jawline. “Someone paid attention to the movie.”
“Don’t ruin it.” Bakugou growled in her ear, increasing the roughness of his touch to make her gasp and wiggle. “I’m doing this for you.” A bit caught off guard by his words, Koge didn’t question him, trying to control the increased rate of her breathing. For me…? Does he feel guilty about last night?
She didn’t have much time to contemplate as his hand shifted down to her hips, making their way into her shorts and underwear. The heat in Koge’s body flared as his rough fingers slid across her clit, one of her legs lifting and resting over his to open herself up to him. Recognizing the reaction, Bakugou focused his attention on her clit, fingers sliding across and rolling the fleshy button about.
“Y-yes…” Koge moaned softly, hiding her face further into her pillow. “Yes, Katsuki, t-that’s it!” It was impossible for her to not cave into the pleasure, every inch of her begging for more. Bakugou seemed more than willing to give it to her, his lips trailing her neck and shoulder. “Tell me what you want.”
Beginning to feel that ball of pleasure growing in her core, Koge was happy to instruct, turning her head to look up at him again. She kept their lips close and gaze locked, loving that crimson glare. “Your middle and third finger… put them inside of me, a little curved. A-ah, all the way, to your knuckles and m-move them, in and out, oh fuck--” Being inexperienced seemed to be of no consequence, his fingers moving at the perfect pace and hitting all her good spots. The ball only grew tighter the longer he fingered her, forcing her hips to rock with his movements. “D-don’t stop-- Katsuki!” She couldn’t resist moaning his name as the built up pleasure finally exploded. The waves that rolled through her body were strong, making her twitch and sigh out loudly in relief.
“Damn it, Utsuro,” Bakugou removed his fingers, but continued to stroke along her sex as her orgasm faded. “Hearing you moan my name like that drives me fucking crazy.” After a quick kiss, Koge nibbled at her bottom lip, pressing her hips back against his to put a bit of pressure on his cock. “Well if you fuck me, maybe you’ll get to hear it again.”
“Are you sure?”
“Would I say it if I wasn’t?” Koge turned her body to face him as he removed his hand from her bottoms, catching him in a heated kiss. With ease, Bakugou held her body against his as he lifted her up, rolling them over so she was laying beneath him. Once she was steady, she was quick to strip herself of her bottoms, leaving them discarded on the bed. Bakugou followed her example, and once her tank top removed, they were both left bare. Koge absolutely adored the feeling of his body against hers, finding that even with their dramatic height difference, they fit together perfectly.
“You got it, right?” Koge kept herself open to him, looking down between their bodies as he prepared himself to enter her. With a small scoff, Bakugou slowly began to push himself into her, his brow furrowing from the still unfamiliar feeling. “It’s not that fucking hard, Utsuro, I’m not an idiot.” Holding onto his shoulders, Koge nibbled at her lip, his size affecting her more this time than it did the night before. “I-I know, genius. Just don’t cum early like last ni--” A sharp moan interrupted her as he suddenly thrust into her completely, burying himself within her.
“Damn your smart mouth.” Leaning forward, Bakugou propped himself up on his elbows, sinking his fingers into her hair as he began to rock his hips. “All I want to hear is your moans, Utsuro.” A smirk spread across his lips as he kept his face close to hers, obviously enjoying the way her expression contorted in pleasure.
It may have felt good the night before, but now, Koge was in pure ecstasy. Never in her life up to this point had she felt such pleasure, and she was sure to let him know, having to give him very little instruction. Bakugou seemed to know exactly what he was doing right by the spiking of her voice or the reaction of her body, following these clues to give her exactly what she wanted. In fact, he was giving her more than Koge had ever imagined, his cock slamming into her so hard and deep that she was sure she’d go insane.
“I-I’m never going to find another cock as good as yours, Katsuki. You’re so new to it but I love the way you fuck me.” Digging her nails into his arms, she could feel her orgasm growing close, the pleasure only spiking as he increased his speed on reaction to her praise. Taking a moment to kiss her, Bakugou hid his face within the curve of her neck. “Good. You’ll always remember me, then.”
His words had an affect on her that was probably not what he intended. Immediately, she felt a deep sadness, one which brought tears to her eyes that she struggled to restrain. She didn’t want him to leave. It was selfish of her, but the thought of seeing him off was one she could hardly bare. Nearly three weeks of knowing him was enough to throw her into a deep infatuation, one which she knew she would never feel for another person.
Her mother had always told her these things were like an immediate realization. That, when you find ‘the one’, whom your entire being resonates and connects with, it’s something you just… know. Soul mates, as cheesy as Koge always thought it sounded, wasn’t so far fetched now. She had found hers.
And he was going to leave her.
“Fuck, I can’t hold it much longer--” Bakugou hissed, not noticing Koge’s state of distress. As his thrusts became rougher, she kept her focus on the pleasure, arching her hips up into his so he hit even deeper. “I’m close-- you can finish inside.”
The permission seemed to excite him, his trusts and grip on her becoming more animalistic and rough. “Seriously?”
The change nearly sent Koge over the edge, leaning her head back as she was on the verge of exploding. “Y-yes! Please cum inside me, Katsuki!” Cursing, Bakugou’s movements became completely one sided, not taking her body or limits into consideration as his excitement became uncontrollable. Nearly instantly, Koge lost all control, cumming so hard that Bakugou nearly had to stop. “Ah, fuck!”
Koge gasped and dug her nails into his skin at how deep he buried himself into her, his release so hot that she could feel it. Body so swelled with pleasure, she couldn’t resist rolling her hips against him. “That’s it, Katsuki…” Wrapping her arms around him, Koge held him close, feeling him tremble. He completely melted into her, nuzzling his face into her neck as they both came down from their high. “I… got really rough in the end there.”
A bit surprised that was his first thoughts, Koge ran her fingers through his hair gently, not minding that it was damp with sweat. “That’s okay… I like it rough, anyway. It felt amazing.”
“I didn’t hurt you?”
“No.” With a soft nudge, Koge urged his head up so that he looked down at her. She couldn’t help but to smile at how his cheeks flushed as he looked down at her, the softness in his expression something that she couldn’t resist. “You’re really cute, Katsuki.”
“Don’t call me cute!” That familiar angry scowl returned, only making Koge laugh as he shoved his face back into her shoulder. Stroking his hair as he mumbled and huffed in annoyance, Koge did her best to cherish the moment, even though that sadness began to creep up on her again. Although she tried her best to swallow it down, her body gave her away with a sharp hitch of her breath, prompting Bakugou to lift himself up to look down at her. The instant his eyes locked with hers, she lost any control she may have had, hiccuping as the tears began to flow down her cheeks. She tried to wipe them away, doing her best to regain composure.
“I-I’m sorry, Katsuki, I don’t mean to-”
Rough fingers replaced hers, wiping the tears away.
“I’ll miss you, too, Koge. Now stop crying. I want to see that stupid smile on your face.”

A trip to her grandmothers beachfront home was something that Koge had done every year of her life. This time, an unlikely discovery would change her life forever. Who knew explaining how to be a human could be so hard.
Goodbye, You
“I’m sorry I called you ugly at first. You’re actually very beautiful, Katsuki.” Koge gave him a soft smile, running her hand along the smooth form of his tail. Sitting half in the water, the vibrant scales shimmered in the light of the setting sun. Resting on his stomach with his head on folded arms, Bakugou watched her, the end of his tail shifting about unconsciously in happiness from her touch. They had been like this for hours now since he changed, sitting on the beach in the shallow waters, unable to find it within themselves to part. When the tip of the sun touched the horizon is when they had promised to finally give in, and much to their dismay, that time was quickly approaching.
Bakugou gave a small scoff at the comment, rolling over onto his side, facing her with an arm propping up his head. “Damn right. I look even better underwater. You’ll need to bring some goggles with you next time so you can see. Put that on your packing list.” Placing his free hand on her leg, he slowly and tenderly ran it up her thigh, soaking in the feeling of her skin while he could. Koge’s focus was still on his tail, lightly touching an older scar that was from a tussle he had with a shark. The thought of how badly he must have been injured to get that scar tugged at her heart, but she knew better than to think lowly of him in such a way. He wasn’t weak.
“I’ll remember that for sure. I’d love to get to swim around with you better than what I can. If you weren’t around, I would have straight up drowned earlier.” Taking her hand back to herself, Koge took a moment to put her wet hair up into a messy bun, tired of it sticking to her back. “You laughing at me didn’t help, either!”
Snickering, Bakugou scooted closer to her, resting his chin on her thigh. “It looked funny. But don’t go out that far again without me around. I’d rather not find you floating around face down or at the bottom of the reef.” A small sigh escaped his lips as Koge stroked his hair gently, running her fingers through the semi dried blonde spikes. “I’m gonna miss that…”
“Miss what?”
“You playing with my hair. I like it more than I ever thought I would…” His voice trailed off as he stared out at the sunset, finding that they maybe only had another ten minutes before it vanished beneath the horizon. The silence that fell between them was heavy, and Koge refused to look up at the sun as he was. She thought that, just maybe, if she avoided looking at it the time would just never come. Time was subjective, after all. But, the sun’s orbit was not. It was definitive, and no matter how much she refused to look, it would set. And he would be gone.
“Come out a bit deeper with me?”
His voice caught her attention, his crimson gaze soft enough to send her heart racing. With a nod, Koge followed him out into deeper water, stopping when it reached her chest. Bobbing in the water in front of her, Bakugou used gentle persuasion to urge her up against him, her arms wrapping around his neck and legs around his waist. His body was no longer warm like she had grown used to, but that mattered little at this point. Keeping her body pressed tightly into his, she kissed him softly, fighting back the hoard of tears that were pricking at the corners of her eyes.
She couldn’t let them fall just yet. She had promised him not to shed a single tear until he was gone, and Koge had kept that promise for the entire day, spending it with him like she would have any other. It was odd to her, how much this entire situation made her want to just bawl her eyes out. That’s how she knew her feelings for him were real, that her wanting to be with him wasn’t superficial. Because, in her day to day life, she never cried. Someone could cuss in her face, call her names and belittle her to the lowest degree, and her eyes would never even tear up. But the thought of him leaving absolutely crushed her, to the point where she was unsure how she was even going to pull herself back together.
When the affection faded, Bakugou rested his forehead against hers, observing her face with a level of concentration that she couldn’t quite understand. Though, she didn’t have time to question him as he reached up to his neck, gripping both of his prized necklaces and pulling them up over his head.
“Wha--?” Koge looked at them curiously, releasing him as he held them out towards her.
“These aren’t just for me to flaunt around to show that I’m a badass. It’s… something that we do, to try to attract a woman. If you could come to my home, you would see it. We wear things we make ourselves, show off our physical accomplishments and try to just… prove ourselves. That we’d make a good mate.” As if nervous about what he was doing, Bakugou swallowed hard. “We offer them to the person we choose… After connecting on an emotional level and all that mushy shit. If they accept them, then that’s it… You can mate.”
Koge glanced from the necklaces up to Bakugou’s face and back again, able to see the blush ravaging his cheeks as he struggled to spit out what he wanted. “Well,” she started, carefully caressing the necklaces in her hands. “We did it a little backwards, didn’t we?” With a scoff, Bakugou released the necklaces once he was sure she had a good hold on them, watching as she carefully placed them around her neck.
“Shut up. I… shorted them for you, too. So they wouldn’t go down to your stomach or anything…” The blush that was on his cheeks somehow intensified as Koge looked back up at him, her soft smile and acceptance of his offer obviously affecting him more than what he was willing to admit. Placing her hands on his cheeks, Koge moved back in closer to him, kissing him sweetly before smiling against his lips.
“Thank you, Katsuki… I accept them. And I will never let them out of my sight. I’m… sorry I don’t have anything to give you.”
Bakugou shook his head, moving some of her wet hair out of her face. “I’m not supposed to take anything from you. Just your word that you’d be faithful to me.”
Deciding to tease him a little, Koge tilted her head to the side, looking up and scrunching her face a bit in thought. “Hmmm, seriously? You mean I can’t have extra boyfriends on the side? What a bummer!” She burst out into giggles as he squeezed her sides, tickling her in punishment for her sarcasm.
“That’s right! No one else!”
“Okay, okay! Stop tickling me, I’ll drown!”
When Bakugou finally stopped torturing her, Koge’s eyes instinctively looked back over his shoulder, watching as the last bit of the sun vanished behind the waters edge. The happiness she felt drained out of her like she had been unplugged, disconnected from the thing that gave her life. How could she possibly let--
“How am I going to let you go?” Bakugou’s voice was low and tainted with frustration, pressing his forehead into hers with his eyes shut tightly. Swallowing the lump that had grown in her throat as the tears began to fight their way out, Koge stroked his cheek gently, looking up into his eyes when he finally looked down at her.
“You’re not letting me go, Katsuki. I’m coming back here, same time next year. You know the day, right? April…?”
Bakugou gave a short cough to clear his throat, as if some emotions were making it difficult for him to speak. “April fourteenth.”
“That’s right. I will be here on that day. You saw me buy the plane tickets. It’s a done deal.”
“I’ll be here. Though I can’t promise there may not be… extra visitors this time.” Bakugou grumbled at the thought of being followed by family or friends, though Koge quickly pulled his attention back to her with another kiss. “Oh, that’s okay, Katsuki,” She ruffled his hair playfully, forcing a huff from him as he hid his face into the curve of her neck. “I’d love to meet your family and friends. I mean, I’m sure they’ll be curious about me.”
“They’re just annoying idiots…” His voice trailed off again as the topic faded, focusing his attention on her neck. Soft, sweet kisses traveled up across her skin, making Koge shiver as his hands gripped her hips tightly. It was hard for her to not get aroused by such intimate affection, and though Koge tried her best to hide it, a pleasured sigh left her lips when his reached right below her ear. With a frustrated groan, Bakugou hugged her body to his tightly, once again hiding his face into the curve of her neck. “Don’t do that, Utsuro, I can’t take it. It’s hard enough for me to stay calm with you clinging to me like this all day.”
“I’m sorry, Katsuki. I just… I’ll miss that feeling, of being so close to you.”
“Just close your eyes and dream of me, then. And before you know it, it’ll be real.”
His hands carefully prying her off of him was something that Koge wished she’d never have to feel, but she didn’t fight back, lowering her feet back onto the sandbar to stand on her own. Putting his hands on her shoulders, he turned her around to face the beach, giving her skin a soft kiss before speaking quietly in her ear. “Walk back to the beach and don’t turn around. Not until you reach the house… Because I can’t look back, either.”
After a simple, small nod, Koge turned her head to look at him, catching his lips in one more passionate kiss. “Okay, Katsuki… I love you.”
“I love you, too, Koge. Now get out of here. I’ll see you in no time.” With a gentle push, he urged her forward as he moved back, vanishing beneath the water without another word. Now physically trembling at the loss of his touch, Koge sucked in a huge breath, forcing herself forward on weak limbs. Unconsciously, she found herself listening for him, for any inkling that he was still present. Her body expected his touch and her ears prayed for the rough sound of his voice. But instead, all she was met with was the sounds of the waves and her own hiccups as the tears finally broke through.
“You really do love that boy, don’t you?”
Koge was brought back to reality by the sound of her grandmothers voice, pulling her eyes from the ocean view to look down at the elderly woman. Somehow, Koge had found herself in a trance, standing out on the deck as she scanned the moonlit water for any sign of her lover. If not for the interruption, she was sure that her entire night would have been spent in that spot.
“Yeah… I do.” Koge answered quietly, fiddling with the necklaces.
Kiki moved her wheelchair a bit closer, smiling up at her granddaughter. “Why don’t you ask him to go with you then?”
“Ah… that’s not possible. By the water is where he belongs…”
“Well don’t fret, my dear. You’ll see him again soon enough.” Kiki took her hand, patting it gently. “He’s quite special. An odd boy, but I can see how happy he makes you. I haven’t seen you cry since you were a little baby, Koge.” With trembling hand, Kiki lifted a handkerchief towards her, which Koge accepted gladly.
After wiping her sore eyes, Koge nodded. “That’s true… he does make me happy. I can’t wait to see him next year.”
“That’s it, my darling, just think on the positive things! Now, why don’t you come spend the rest of your trip with me. That silly boy all but stole you away!
“That sounds like a good idea.”
Hello, Us
Koge was glad that she spent those last few days with her grandmother, as the news of her death hit her hard. As one of the only people Koge felt truly close to, it was a giant loss in her life and a huge sadness that weighed upon her for weeks. The pain was made a little less severe when it came time for Kiki’s Will to be announced, and what Koge received from it was more than she ever could of imagined.
The entire beachfront property and everything that resided inside was hers, along with a huge amount of funds from Kiki’s life savings. Koge didn’t even bother to consider her education or job at the time, spending the remainder of her time preparing to move to live down there immediately. Much to her surprise, her parents supported her, even though they had no idea of the true reasoning. Her lover had been on her mind constantly, though the happy times and the sorrow. She was incomplete without him, that blonde hot headed idiot that just so happened to be a merman. How she would ever tell her parents, she wasn’t sure, but that would come eventually.
April fourteenth came and Koge took the flight down to her new home. Alone, she had insisted, to which her parents only put up a mild argument against. They would be there in a few days, thus giving Koge plenty of time to settle in and see her lover.
Pulling up to the large house was harder than she expected, however. Keys in her hand, Koge stared at the door as she tried to control the overwhelming sadness, knowing that wrinkled smiling face wouldn’t be there to greet her this time. The clank of the unlocking bolt was a lonely sound, and the creaking of the large wooden doors sent a chill down her spine. Dark, dusty and untouched since Kiki’s passing, Koge could have sworn she had just stepped into a haunted house.
Something else caught her eye, however. Sitting on a small table that had been purposefully placed in front of the door in the entryway was a letter, addressed to Koge. Leaving her luggage at the door and keys in the lock, Koge was quick to pick up the sealed envelope, tenderly turning it around in her hands. On the front was simply her name in Kiki’s handwriting, but on the back was something that surprised her.
‘Open with Katsuki.’
“Katsuki…” The thought of him pulled her eyes up towards the back of the house, instantly making a beeline towards exit to the deck. Before she knew it, she was out on the sand, instantly noticing a figure sitting near the waters edge in a chair that had come from around the swimming pool behind her. Foot casually tapping to some unknown music, the man leaned his blonde head back against the chair, awaiting an arrival.
Her arrival.
Over seven months she had been without him, and now that he was within her reach again, she felt strangled. Bakugou was here, just like he had promised he would be, with human legs and dressed in the clothing she had gotten him last summer. Yet, she was terrified. Terrified that, maybe, he was just here to cut it off with her and take back his prized necklaces, which currently rested around her neck.
Clutching them tightly, their presence and significance reassured her that wasn’t going to happen. He still cared about her. He had to.
“Katsuki--”
Her voice came out as a hoarse whisper, and yet, he could still hear it over the sound of roaring waves. Instantly, his entire body froze, stiffening in shock. Then, with some silent reassurance to himself, he turned his head, that crimson gaze instantly setting a fire off within her. Still, she couldn’t move.
Seeming just as cautious as she was, Bakugou stood, beginning to make his way to her with surprisingly steady legs. Smile crossing her lips, she held back the tears that welled up in her eyes, holding a hand out towards him to welcome him in closer. “I… I see you got rid of your sea legs.”
A squeak escaped her lips as he snatched her hand, yanking her in closer and catching her in a passionate kiss that nearly knocked her off her feet. She wrapped her arms around his neck, unable to help a soft laugh from escaping as he squeezed her tightly.
“Shut up, Utsuro, before I change my damn mind.” Bakugou smirked against her lips as he spoke, only making her cheeks flush with heat.
“You shut up, you cute man. You’ll never change your mind, now. Because you’ll never have to say goodbye to me that long again.”
“Huh?” Bakugou looked down at her with a confused interest, releasing his grip on her just a bit so she could stand normally. “I mean, I know your… I know your grandmother passed… but what do you mean by that?”
Koge waved the envelope in front of him. “Let’s read this. I bet it will tell you everything.” With a nod in agreement from him, Koge carefully opened up the envelope, pulling out the letter that was inside.
My Dear Koge and Katsuki,
I have never before seen a love so pure and a connection so strong as the one shared between the two of you. It is something special, something that anyone would be blessed to have in their lifetime. Although I am, or by now, was a lonely old woman, I could see it clearly. It would be cruel of me to keep you apart any longer.
So, with my passing, I leave Koge my house and my land. Here, the two of you can live your life together, and Koge can stay when it comes time for Katsuki to return to the sea. Yes, I could tell. I wasn’t blind, you know. Or deaf, mind you.
Your secret dies with me, but a new life begins along side my death. I wish you both a happy life and may your special bond forever grow stronger.
With Love,
Kiki.
As her grandmother's name left her lips, Koge lost control of the tears she had been holding back, resting against Bakugou as she folded up the letter. “She left it all to me… Including enough money for repairs and to survive off of for years.” She turned back to face him, sniffling and struggling to calm. Though, the presence of his hand against her cheek helped, and she turned her lips into his palm as he wiped her tears away with rough fingers.
“Utsuro… I think… I think it’s perfect.”
“Huh?” Koge turned her teary gaze to look up at him, unable to resist her own smile as he had one plastered on his face. “You do?”
“No shit! It’s what you wanted! And what I need. If you’re fine leaving you— mmpf!” He was cut off as Koge pushed herself up, kissing him in quick succession, over and over again.
“Yes, yes, yes!” She exclaimed between kisses, laughing as he scooped her up to hold her bridal style. “Yes, it’s what I want! Thank you, Katsuki.”
“What are you thanking me for? I didn’t do shit, except make you fall for me.” Turning, he began to head towards the water, keeping her firmly in his grasp. Koge kicked her legs happily, unable to take her eyes off his face.
“Not true. I think you’re the one that fell for me first-- EEK!” She squealed as he suddenly let her upper body fall, instead wrapping both arms around her waist to hold her upside down. Her back against his torso, she was left dangling, legs hooked around his shoulders to help keep herself anchored. “K-Katsuki, let me up!”
“No. Now shut up and look out at the water.”
Pouting a bit as she crossed her arms over her chest, Koge followed instruction, looking out into the flipped horizon. At first, it made her quite dizzy, until she spotted something floating in the distance. “What is that?”
Not answering her just yet, Bakugou stopped at the edge of the water, giving a loud, sharp whistle that nearly made Koge jump. With the sound, more figures appeared, with varying colors. It was then that Koge recognized them as heads, especially as one with green hair brought their arms out of the water to push it back out of its face.
“I told you, Koge. They wouldn’t be able to resist meeting you. No matter how much I told them to fuck off.”
Smile stretching across her face, Koge observed them all, quickly noticing their reluctance easing as they gathered closer to talk. She could have sworn that she was in a dream, that all of this was just something from her imagination. But, the sun against her skin and Bakugou’s touch as he shifted her back into his arms told her that it was all real. Cupping his cheeks, she gave him one more quick kiss, stroking his skin with her thumbs as she looked up into that crimson glare she had come to adore.
“I love you, Katsuki. And I can’t wait to spend forever with you.”

Bakugou and Koge were just about to start their life together when he vanishes without a trace. Now, all she wants is for him to come back to her, even if he has turned into something inhuman.
Tumblr media
“Good morning, Katsuki!” Koge chirped happily to her lover as she approached him, her voice barely audible over the clacking of horse hooves on the stone street near by. Crimson eyes tore away from a book to gaze upon her, though their curiosity was quickly narrowed into annoyance. “Tch, you’re late, Utsuro.” Snapping the thin book closed, Bakugou tucked it away into his deep red vest, the golden buttons that adorned it shimmering against the sunlight with his movement. “An hour late, in fact.”
A small pout crossed Koge’s lips as she reached him, reaching up to push some of her white hair back behind her ear. “I’m sorry love, I didn’t have a very good morning. We’re still on time for breakfast with your parents, though, aren’t we?” She took his arm as he offered it to her, the high quality fabric of his black blazer soft beneath her touch. Bakugou nodded as he started leading them down the street, his mere presence enough to split the lower citizens away from their path. It had always amazed Koge how wealth and status could affect a person’s life, both for better or for worse. She did have to admit that never having to trip or bump into anyone when walking beside her lover was wonderful, as she was practically invisible to everyone else.
“Unfortunately, we are still in time for that fucking disaster. I almost wish you would have been later so we could avoid it.” Bakugou looked down at her, just his gaze enough to bring heat into her cheeks. “Why did you have a bad morning, Utsuro? You seem happy enough.” Koge gave a soft hum, reaching across her chest to caress his upper arm with her free hand. “Well, it was nothing, I guess. You’re just going to think I’m silly.”
“Then my opinion of you wouldn’t change.”
Koge narrowed her eyes at him, though his snarky smirk only made her heart race. “You’re the one that’s silly. No, it’s a serious thing I had a dream about, but you’ll just call me stupid.”
“A dream made you an hour late? Utsuro, are you fucking serious?” Bakugou glowered down at his lover, who only pouted further. “Shut up, Katsuki! See, that’s why I didn’t want to tell you! C’mon, it really upset me, okay?”
“How?” Bakugou urged her to walk around a puddle, to which she silently complied. With a small sigh, Koge lied her head against his shoulder, tightening her grip on his arm a bit. “I just… Well, I had a nightmare that you just… vanished. I came out to meet you one morning and you weren’t here. I couldn’t find you, and everyone around me didn’t recognize your name. It was like you never existed…”
“Vanish? Where the fuck would I go, Utsuro?” Bakugou came to a stop, awaiting the arrival of their carriage to take them up to his parents home. When she didn’t respond, he turned to face her, placing both hands firmly on her upper arms. Still, Koge did not look up at him, obviously fighting back the urge to cry. “I don’t know, Katsuki. It was just so horrible, you know… To wake up like that and you’re just gone.”
“Well, I’m not.” Bakugou cupped her cheeks, squishing them together gently as he tilted her head up to look at him. “I’m right here and every day I’ll be in that same damn spot waiting for you. Right next to that ugly ass broken statue. So get it out of your head.” Koge gave a small sniff as she looked up at him, gently placing both of her hands over his. “You mean it?”
“Anything that’s keeping me from you is against my will. And I’d fucking fight it, you know I would.” He placed a rough kiss on her forehead before taking her lips, something he very rarely did in public. His kisses always made her entire body tingle excitedly, moving closer and pushing herself up on her toes to reach him better. When he finally set her free, he stroked her cheek gently. “You brat. Upset over a dream. You should know better. There’s a reason I put that ring on your finger.”
“We’re telling your parents today, right?”
“Yes. And you’ll be moving in, out of that shack.”
“No more leaky roof?”
Bakugou scoffed, releasing her and crossing his arms over his chest as Koge giggled. “That’s all you care about? Getting away from a leaky fucking roof?” Koge nodded, placing her hands on her hips. “Yes. I could care less about marrying you because of love or whatever. I just want to live in a big house and have lots of money.” Koge gave him a sly smile as she reached over to fix his vest, which had gotten a bit crooked. “All this talk about love and things has just been a ruse.”
“Tch, well aren’t you just a snarky bitch.” Bakugou’s amused smirk and teasing tone only made Koge laugh, turning to face the carriage as it approached them. “Only for you, my Katsuki. I’ll be your snarky bitch forever.” As the carriage stopped, Bakugou opened the door for her and allowed her in first, though he surprised her with a firm smack to the ass as she climbed in. Koge squeaked, nearly tripping over the last step as he stumbled into the seat. “Katsuki! You’re so fiesty today!”
Bakugou closed the door behind him as he entered the carriage, sitting down beside her. “I have to punish you for making me wait so long, Utsuro. That’s not even a portion of what you’re gonna get when I have you alone.” Fixing her bodice a bit as she sat down beside him, Koge gave a small roll of her eyes, glowering up at him. “Sometimes I wonder what I see in you.”
Bakugou cupped her cheek, turning her head to kiss her softly. “That’s easy.”
“Mhmm… I see how much you love me.”
“And I do.” A soft stroke of his thumb against her chin and his calm voice sent chills across her skin, her heart already racing as she craved his lips and his touch.
“I love you.”
Why did that dream always have to come back to haunt her? That memory, one which she savored and yet resented at the same time. She could still feel his touch, taste his lips and hear his voice so clearly that she could have sworn that he was beside her in bed. But, he never was. Every day Koge awoke cold and alone, her warm blankets doing little to ease the chill in her core. Laying there now, still and quiet, she wished desperately to feel a presence behind her or a rough hand to wipe away the warm tears that rested on her cheeks. She could feel how they pooled on her pillow, soaking into the white fabric to only further her annoyance of them. This wasn’t the first time she had woken up crying in her many years of life, though it had become more of a recent occurrence as of late.
With a sigh, Koge reached up and wiped her cheeks, freeing her skin of the annoying wetness. Opening her eyes only brought on more tears, however, and she was quick to smother those as well, doing her best to blink away the blurry screen of tears and sleep. She felt heavy and exhausted, both in mind and body, and she figured that she must have been thrashing badly in the night. Though, she assumed that a maid had come in and tucked her back into bed, as her blankets were pristine over her body. It was a bit odd to her that they hadn’t tried to awaken her then, but perhaps they had and she had just been too out of it to respond.
Using what strength she could muster, the young woman sat up, giving a small shiver at the tickling feeling of her white hair cascading down across her back and shoulders. Gazing about the room, she brought her left hand to her chest, fiddling with the ring that adorned her third finger to make sure that it was still there. Her prized possession never left her skin, being the last truly important gift her lover had given her. Everything else in the room was reminders and memories, but none were as important as this silver ring. Engraved with intricate details of vines and flowers, it had no stone, but the fact that it had been made especially for her was enough to make it special. Though, it could have been a piece of wood or wax and Koge would have still said yes.
Throwing the blankets off of her legs, Koge slipped her chilled feet into some slippers beside her bed, standing and shuffling her way towards the raging fire place. If the blankets being fixed hadn’t been enough to tell her a maid had been here, then this fire surely did. With a small yawn, Koge warmed herself, crossing her arms over her chest. The shift she wore was thin silk fabric, leaving little to the imagination and no source of warmth at all. Why she continued to wear it even on this cold nights, she wasn’t sure. Perhaps it was because she was still used to his warmth in bed, so hot and comforting that she never needed to dress warmer.
Before her thoughts could travel far, there was a soft knock on her bedroom door, pulling her attention from the flames. “Come in.” With her approval, the door opened, a young woman with curly dark red hair making her way inside. “Good morning, My Lady. I’m surprised to see you up so early.” Koge turned her pale blue gaze back to the flames, glad to hear the door click shut. “Nene, you know you don’t have to address me like that. I got you this job because you’re my friend.”
“Ah… I know, Koge. I just… Lady Bakugou gets so upset sometimes, I’d just rather not have a lecture. But behind closed doors, if you don’t tell, then I won’t.” Nene placed a tray of tea down onto a small table that rested beside the bed. Koge rubbed her arm, looking back at Nene curiously as she poured steaming tea from a pot into a small cup. “What did you mean I’m up early? Did you not come in here and start the fire?” Nene’s face scrunched up in confusion, leaving the tea black and unsweetened as she brought it over to Koge. “Huh? No, it wasn’t me. Perhaps it was someone else. I’ve been spending the morning making the last sewing adjustments to Lady Bakugou’s dress.”
Koge took the cup as it was handed to her, peering down into the dark brown liquid. “Hm, I see. I guess it was someone else. It sure is nice, though, to wake up to a fire. It’s been a while…”
Nene paused for a moment as she fixed the bedding, glancing at Koge before returning to her duty. “Ah yes, Katsuki used to do that for you, right? Well, if you want it, I can make sure it gets done for you.”
“Perhaps… I’ll think about it.” Koge sipped from her tea, moving a bit closer to the fire. “Will you be joining me in town today? I’m going to the Apothecary for some training and then to get flowers.” Nene smiled, fluffing and placing the pillows. “I would love to! The flowers need replacing already?”
“Yes,” Koge finished off her tea before she continued. “This cold has been making them die faster. And, I think Eijirou has come back to town finally. I thought I saw him walking around yesterday, I’m sure he’ll be excited to see you.”
Nene’s face flushed, giving a small cough as she gathered Koge’s clothing from the wardrobe. “O-oh, he is? It’s been so long… Three months? I’m sure he’s forgotten about me completely!”
“That isn’t possible. That boy is smitten with you.” Koge placed her cup of tea down before changing into a fresh shift, beginning to place the rest of her layers on as well. “He’s just so odd… with those teeth and he likes to run around barefoot!”
Nene giggled softly. “Ah well, the teeth can be explained but hating shoes is a different matter. It is really nice of your mentor to take him in though! You’ve just gotten jobs for all your friends.” She stepped up to help Koge tie her corset, smile fading a bit as she did so. “Hm… you’ve lost more weight. Your mentor won’t be happy if he notices…”
“Sir Eguchi will notice… but I… this is turning out to be harder than I thought. It’s getting close…”
“I know, Koge… And I know sometimes you get a little annoyed with my talk of spirits and the supernatural, but that fire this morning. None of us would have started that without a warning. Maybe… it’s a sign from him.”
Koge was silent for a while, until a cool breeze caught her attention. Glancing over, she noticed for the first time that the white lace curtain was slightly more parted than usual and the window was left less than an inch open.
“Maybe, Nene… Maybe…”

A Gintama chapter a day keeps the ending away...Lesson 591
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MY 15 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN LESSON 591:
My heart kinda broke for Oboro...really wanted to hate him but dammit, ended up just feeling so bad for him.
Tumblr media
1) It really is adorable in a very sad way that Oboro was technically Gintoki, Zura and Takasugi’s senpai.
Tumblr media
2) Ugh, he looked so damn happy and hopeful. Seriously broke my heart.
Tumblr media
3) Poor, clever kid.
Tumblr media
4) Naraku fucks being total shitty murderous fuckheads as usual. Seriously did they ALL need to stab a little boy like that? Jesus I hate those guys.
Tumblr media
5) Again, that happy expression just made my heart hurt.
Tumblr media
6) I think this was the only time we got to see Shouyou actually being emotionally distressed so I definitely appreciated this very rare sight.
Tumblr media
7) All things considering, Oboro actually didn’t do so bad for himself. I mean, they could have turned him into a human guinea pig, but instead they actually just adopted him and allowed him to rise through the ranks. I thought that was rather generous of Naraku.
Tumblr media
8) Another moment that broke my heart...how I wish Oboro could have been part of their group. It doesn’t excuse his selfish actions afterwards, but makes them understandable in a very human way.
Tumblr media
9) Look at these cute little babies!!!
Tumblr media
10) I really wanted to hate Oboro after this revelation since he was the sole culprit for all the misery Gin-chan and the other Joui boys had to endure, but I just felt sorry for him.
Tumblr media
11) He just seemed like a little boy who lost his father figure and selfishly wanted him back.
Tumblr media
12) I absolutely don’t condone what Oboro, but I kind of understood it.
Tumblr media
13) I couldn’t stop thinking how different everyone’s life would have been if Oboro would have just successfully escaped with Shouyou and he became a disciple of Shoka Sonjuku together with the other Joui boys.
Tumblr media
14) Shouyou’s words to Oboro as he was being taken away for execution just made my heart ache: “Can I ask to leave a last will? To my disciple? It was thanks to you that I was able to meet those children. It was thanks to you that I was able to become Yoshida Shouyou. Thank you and...I’m sorry. If possible I would have liked you to meet. Those children...and the one I’m so proud of, my first disciple.” Yeah, that’s probably the reason why I can’t hate Oboro for destroying what he helped create in the first place.
Tumblr media
15) That ending tagline kinda killed me: “The path they perhaps could have walked together....”
SHIPS TALLY:
Utsuro x Oboro: I can see Oboro and Utsuro having a twisted relationship that is bourne from his obsessive devotion to his master. It won’t be a healthy or happy relationship at all but I can see it.
Tumblr media
Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just so freaking amazing.  It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s generosity that I can enjoy Gintama on yet another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.

Gintama Chapter 683 Review
youtube
The past chapters have been nothing but emotional and somewhat dreary. While that is not a bad thing, it was concerning to believe the end for Joui 3 won’t be delightful, especially one with a potential death. Gintoki and Takasugi are back in Edo, so begin the buildup for a reunion. This chapter continues the trend of ominous tone, but once more goes back to the fun and humorous side that it was needed.
Takasugi has been really impressive in this arc so far. Rather than him showing you why, this time it lets others speak. It’s reassuring that Kiheitai is heading to Edo as well, so the reunion in one setting is definitely going to be very pleasant. That said Matako shows an act of maturity. Rather following him like a typical fan girl, she is conflicted on what to do.
Sorachi inserted the captain who took Gintoki and Takasugi to Edo on his ship to exploit the reason for Matako’s pondering. It’s writing technique to have one character’s line indirectly share with another from afar. Basically, Takasugi is more of a genuine good person this time. Despite the dark history that the captain knew about, he can’t help but felt the need to help him from his determination. It’s no wonder they were portrayed like good comrades.
The chapter wants to point out that with Takasugi being on good term, he and Gintoki never look so alive like best friends finally going on a journey that they have dreamt since school days. Plenty of series tends to showcase the friendship of two rivals. Some are good to believe and some are bad with its hammering. This one is fortunately good because of the past developments and interactions that you can buy in easily. It’s not out of nowhere, it’s organic as it can get.
It’s a warm feeling since we know Takasugi’s death clock is ticking rapidly. It’s sadder with Matako noting that he has never looked so happy in her time with him. After the captain’s speech, she backs up his claim about the two being best friends and not in for a duty. She doesn’t know if she doesn’t want to interfere or she wants to continue to watch him enjoying his remaining life. I don’t think she knows he’s dying, but regardless, it’s mature of her to think this way, yet sad to know all of this should have happened a long time ago.
I really like the sightseeing from Gintoki, clearly missed his home. The foundation between him and everyone is so incredible, any reunion will put a smile on my face. Well, besides one, we will get to that soon. The town isn’t done fixing, but it looks like certain areas are going to be more city-like than before. It’s a bit charming comparison to him and a brat of returning home. Everyone will eventually forgive.
Before going forward with the exploration, the chapter shifts to where Tendoshu are discussing with Hitsugi. I knew it was him under that casted mask and missing limbs. That said the information that the Tendoshu spout isn’t new, but the point is how manipulative and control they have against him; practically made him into their slave. They even go far as insulting him while he was still there, yet they know and proceed to do so. What a bunch of assholes.
I don’t know the plan is to have Naraku backstab them one day, but that would be some hell of an enemy of my enemy is my friend scenario. Hitsugi is doing it for his beloved master. He too seek for immortality, but that is more down the line of contribution than selfish reason. The stare is probably foreshadow, but we have to wait and see where the road lies ahead.
As for Tendoshu, they’re the worst since they have things in control as they love to have. There’s an elaborated reason for them seeking to take Altana from Edo. It’s basically Plan B in which they would take it and somehow create a replicated heart. They’re pretty much power hungry. The best part is they are getting their revenge against Utsuro after last time, so the table has turned. Remarkable to make me feel bad for him; well, the Shoyo part of him at least.
Another new info is the location of the Tengenism’s temple. It’s not even on Earth, rather floating in space since it’s a moving temple Kuyou. It’s practically a giant ship, but it’s worth noting because it’s where they keep Utsuro’s body. I don’t know if that would be the final battle setting, but it’s the only way to get the job done. That or somehow it will go down on Earth. Why is it in space? Because they have huge ego when they designed the ship with the mindset of looking down on Earth. Is it wrong to hope for crash and burn?
Takasugi has been a swell guy. He even offer Gintoki a time alone to catch up with his friends. Gintoki tries to avoid the opportunity with a reasonable argument that would cause a stir. Could you imagine if your hero decide to save a killer? Naruto could work, but in this series, no. Takasugi got him good with a response that exposed him. Gintoki is afraid of being conflicted on his decision because if he reunites with Yorozuya, he will start thinking as a guy who must cleanse evil. It’s challenging and I’m loving it. I seriously hope Sorachi can deliver the message profoundly.
After that, the chapter or series in general decides to go back to the humorous side and it’s worth it. As usual, it’s hilarious with the shenanigans with Hijikata and Yamazaki; oh sorry, Mobcop. It’s a great timing to reference Devilman since Gintoki is on the verge to lose his sanity. The image with him holding the glasses kills me. Even Sorachi is aware of the potential dark ending. Oddly enough, if Devilman Crybaby is the audience’s first introduction to the franchise, consider it a major spoiler.
I also got a good laugh at the explanation of how they followed Gintoki. Mobcop was supposed to be flying, which is why Hijikata looked hype when boarding on him. Too bad his gas apparently ran out, so they only latch on the boat underwater. I’m here thinking, “Wouldn’t Hijikata drown by that point?” Well, he was close to death at least five times. Mobcop’s fuel is anpan, which is a funny and clever reference to Robocop in which uses baby food. Although, he needs a specific type alas fine-grained bean paste, so apparently, he’s pretty picky.
After a good comedy, the chapter revert back to a serious tone, this time with Hijikata. He isn’t sure if Gintoki is doing something evil, which technically he is for now, but if he can confirm, then he will kill him. I thought it was touching for he reacted like he doesn’t want to say it but if it comes to it, then it must be done. You can tell how much he does care about him as a friend.
To make it more emotional, he reminds Mobcop the code of Shinseigumi, but also reflect that it’s the same group that Gintoki has saved. It would be a damn sad ending if it all goes to that route. Mobcop gives him a reality check of what’s no longer there, but Hijikata subtly tell him to shut up. I so can’t wait for a reunion. With those two back in Edo, it’s only matter of time.
We are back with more comedy and it’s so funny. After the heartfelt moment, the follow-up breaks away from the dreary mood and embark whacky plan in motion. Gintoki and Takasugi go their separate way, so normally, two against two would mean one take on one. Not for Mobcop; he literally split up to chase both respectively. Yes, it’s very normal for citizens to split from the waist down. Unless it’s Tokyo Ghoul.
I really like how Sorachi managed to freshen up the dynamic between him and Hijikata; this is why the comedy doesn’t get old. I like how Hijikata talks about what anpan he’s going to get for him but of course, each time he says it, it’s only a trolling remark. It’s only because Mobcop keeps screwing up. After being told to blend in, the most logic thing to do is disguise with the identity of another. Apparently, Hijikata has a twin brother now.
The dumb part about it is how Mobcop is pretty much saying that Hijikata’s job is only to get the anpan for him. Even when disguised as him, he was going to grab one, completely disregard the main target. I couldn’t stop laughing at the stupidity. It only breaks the trend once Mobcop acts natural and by his definition, it means no clothes, all free. That’s when Hijikata finally stop trolling and actually got the anpan for him, so he can stop humiliating him. Fan girls must be stoked.
The last couple of pages are hilarious. Gintoki almost caught them but they somehow blend in with the store ads, acting like mannequin. Mobcop exposes more than enough if you get what I mean. Somehow, it works unless Gintoki is lying, which I can definitely believe. Otherwise, he’s easily fooled. What got me laughing so much is after he left, it appears things are secured, but shortly after, he returns with a panic look. He buys an underwear, wears it over his head, and all the sudden, he’s tagging along with others in disguising. Why? Because Otae appears. Need I say more? Hijikata’s reaction cracks me up.
This was a pretty amusing chapter with a nice change of pace with its humor. The buildup to the next and most likely the last mission has been engaging with conflicting personal issue. The driving theme of making a choice appeals me and it has me very curious. The artwork is clean and the humorous tone delivered with laughable sequences. The cliffhanger was amusing. I don’t know if I want him to get caught, but if there’s one thing that hasn’t changed, it’s the fear of a gorilla. I mean Otae…
