Ninjago Headcanons 30-34

30: 

When Lloyd was little, he’d hide a LOT. 

Like, 24-7. 

In the most impossible spaces.

Like, Jay would be walking into the living and randomly look up to see Lloyd in the rafters.

Wu was the only being in literal existence with the ability to coax him out.

31: 

Once all six were bored enough to start playing hide-and-seek. It lasted the whole day because of their stealth skills, the tracking they’d learned, and the fact that they knew each other too well.

Wu finally joined the game and found everyone in less than an hour. 

32: As a kid, with his instincts and past, Lloyd would bite if he needed to. If he was scared and someone’s threatening hand got too close, he’d bite.

You’d bet that Wu was practically immune to any attempts Lloyd made when he was still….. Adjusting to living on the Bounty and with the ninja. 

He doesn’t do it that much nowadays, but with the right circumstances….. Watch out. 

33:

Jay sometimes feels the urge to go outside in thunderstorms. According to Wu, this is normal for Lightning Elementals, but Wu still locks the doors and windows when a thunderstorm occurs. 

Wu also says that Jay has the worst “Element Trances” of any Lightning Elemental he’s seen for a while. 

34:

Likewise, other Elementals have trances of their own Elements.

Kai has this trance with Fire, if fire is nearby he knows it and he may just get into a trance.

Zane feels Ice the same way. 

Nya’s trances are more like Jay’s, but they don’t happen very often and she won’t wander off as much. 

Cole’s are in between, sometimes his trances are like Kai and Zane’s trances, other times they’re like Jay and Nya’s. He just feels the Earth. 

Lloyd’s are more like Cole’s, he just feels the Energy of everything.

This story was hawkflame999 idea. I wrote it and stuff but you can thank them for the plot and story beats. We worked on it together. Part 2 is where it gets good. I still have to draw it so sit tight. That takes time.

Cole: Oh I get it your embarrassed.

Jay: No need to be embarrassed Kai. See I got a scar right here. I got it in the craziest way_

Kai: I’m not embarrassed!

THE DRAGON THAT HAD FSM WAS A SOURCE DRAGON!?!?!?!?

If the symbols mean the Source Dragons, and one is calling Lloyd, "One of mine" does that mean we finally may have info on the specific Dragon and Oni that had FSM?

I mean, we as a fandom don't look at that very much.........

BUT WHAT IF?!?!?!? Lloyd, Garmadon and Wu are descended from a Source Dragon?!?!?!?! Or is it "one of mine," because Energy means Life?

And they keep mentioning "Sensei" and "Lloyd's Uncle", (in Lloyd's case, "My Uncle") and then finally they hear one of them say "Master Wu"

'Cause Egalt and Rontu probably know who and what Wu is, so the second they realize what and whose grandkid (and whose son) Lloyd is-

And they over hear them talking about how that old guy looked after them...

Things Wu Has Probably Said At One Point In Pilots-S2.

"Kai, I don't care who in all of existence taught you that word, but no cursing- "What do you mean you heard some customer at Four Weapons say it? Oh god, curse the fact that Ray and Maya disappeared-"

"Zane, we don't sit in the fridge- yes, thank you for stepping out."

"Cole I don't know why you're lying in this letter you're writing to your father but- Oh, I see. Ok."

"Jay, why are you outside in the middle of the night in a thunderstorm- yes, that's why you kept getting struck by lightning, your element is the reason."

"Nya, please explain what Kai is doing-"

"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon Spinjitzu, what are you doing up at Three. A. M. "No, you aren't old enough to stay up- YOU'RE EIGHT YEARS OLD, CUB!

"No. go to bed or I'm moving your bed to my room so I can keep an eye on you. Do you want that?

Ninjago Secrecy AU

So in this AU, it’s basically the same as canon, EXCEPT, the ninja stay secret.

it's not JUST their identities. It’s also their literal existence and history.

FSM didn’t want humans, who often misunderstood and killed Yōkai-kind, to know about the Elementals. So he kept himself secret, his two sons secret, and the people he’d later choose to become the first human-ish Elementals secret. Those people were street orphans and abused kids he’d rescued from other humans.

Elementals have basically been behind the scenes (and doing illegal stuff like underage driving) for several millennia, they’ve managed to keep secret all this time and continue to do so in this AU. 

When something big comes, like the Great Devourer, the ninja fix it but there’s only eyewitnesses and no camera footage and most of the time they somehow aren’t seen by humans.

Or Jay causes a blackout to make things harder for them to be seen.

Oh, yeah. And Elementals aren’t sure if they’re Humans with powers, something between Yōkai and Humans, or just full-blown Yōkai. 

They just don’t know, but they have the senses of Yōkai and they can see very well in the dark- they also have a keen sense of smell, they can follow trails. And their eyes glow, but they can control the glow when they need to. Among other things, like feeling vibrations.

Elementals also have feral instincts, though they can ignore those instincts and act human when the circumstances demand it. Lloyd, his father, and uncle all have Dragoni features like in my Headcanon #1, and they're the most feral.

If you saw my HC about the Elemental Bond, that applies here too.

The Elementals just tell people who ask that they’re a clan. They’re kind of common amongst the Realms, and to help the ninja, their clan is tiny, and sort of IS a clan, just a special one. 

Said clans that do exist either live off the land or live modernly now but they all started back in old times, and they keep touch and all nowadays. 

The Serpentine often receives a similar reception that Yōkai get, just less than that, so they don’t give the game up- they keep silent about the ninja. 

After meeting the ninja, the Formlings, the Geckles and the Munce, and others were asked to and agreed to keep quiet about the Elementals. So does Vania, (idk how that part of Master of the Mountain works but yeah).

In the AU, other Yōkai, (Kitsune, Kappas, Tanukis, Bakenekos, ect.) are more apparent and present in this, and even most of them don’t know about the ninjas, just a few friends know. 

The Elementals frequently attack and ambush Yōkai Hunters, and free the trapped Yōkai. 

There’s also more mountains around the Monastery, it’s a literal mountain range, and many Yōkai live in them. Years ago they all combined their magic to create a barrier, so humans can’t get in (they just get turned around and all,) unless they’re led, and it's really hard for someone to just find their way in, but it happens occasionally. 

IN THIS AU, THE SIX SEE EACH OTHER AS SIBLINGS, EXCEPT MAYBE JAY AND NYA, I CAN'T DECIDE.

Arin knows about the ninja ONLY because he’s from a village near the mountain of the Monastery, and his family is one of the few that the ninja trusted with the knowledge of their existence, because one of Arin’s ancestors, a few generations back, accidentally found a way into the mountains, and got caught in a storm, so the ninja of the time saved him. 

Also all the Elementals speak Yōkai. It’s their second language, and their first language is Japanese, English is their third language.  

Yeah, that’s it really.

I Have a Question For the Ninjago Fandom

WHY IS EVERYONE NOT ACKNOWLEDGING THE FACT THAT LOU NEGELECTED COLE?!?!?!?!?!

And how Kai must've had trust issues at first.

And how Lloyd must've had trust issues at first.

And how Wu is literally taking better care of the six than their freaking parents did.

(Garmadon, Lily, Jay's bio parents, + Ray and Maya get free passes bc one way or the other it wasn't their fault.)

AND ALSO THE NINJA (except Lloyd bc he's also not fully human) LIVE WITH A DUDE THAT'S 1/4 ONI, 1/4 DRAGON, AND 1/2 HUMAN.

SO if Wu actually got the stuff from the Yokai side of the fam then wouldn't Zane, Kai, Cole, Jay, and Nya classify as feral kids?

Does Wu have legal custody of Zane, Kai, Cole, Jay, Nya and Lloyd?

Like, they live with him.

He is literally the one taking care of them and he's Lloyd's biological Uncle.

SO does he have legal custody or was he illegally taking care of six wild teenagers the whole time?

Because, honestly, I wouldn't put the latter past him.

Ninjago Headcanons 23-25

#23:

The ninjas have this habit of going onto the roof as soon as the adults' backs are turned. Cole was the first one to climb up there, then he taught the other three, Kai taught Nya, and all four taught Lloyd.

Master Wu found out not long after the Final Battle, because-

Sensei Garmadon walked in on Cole on the roof, so-

Even now, they go up there when no one's looking and sometimes they get in trouble, sometimes they don't, because Wu and Garmadon also went up there as kids. 

Wu has just about given up trying to make them stop.

24: The ninja and friends have nicknames for certain groups.

Zane, Kai, Cole, and Jay are the Chaos Quadruplets.

Zane, Kai, Cole, Jay, and Nya are the Chaos Five or The Five.

Zane, Kai, Cole, Jay, and Lloyd are the Chaos Brothers. Or Hurricane Chaos Brothers.

Zane, Kai, Cole, Jay, Nya, and Lloyd are either The Six, Chaos Siblings, Chaos Six, The Chaotic Six or The Gang. or Hurricane Chaos, or Hurricane Six.

Garmadon, Wu and Lloyd are the FSMD Squad, standing for The First Spinjitzu Master’s Descendant Squad.

FSM, Garmadon, Wu and Lloyd are simply the FSM Squad.

If it’s the Quadruplets but only two of them it’s Chaos Twins, three are Chaos Triplets. 

Zane and Pixal are the Robos. 

Zane, Pixal, Nya, and Jay are the Hackers (Tech Savvy ppl)

Wu and Garmadon are the SB (Spinjitzu Brothers.)

25: Elementals (Elemental Masters, if you wanted to be horribly formal) have this sense of each other even before they have their true potential.

 And some telepathic bond, too. 

The more an Elemental used it with another Elemental, the stronger their bond and sense was with that specific Elemental. 

The six are well tuned to each other, they have a really strong bond. And a lot of times they only speak through their minds. 

All Elementals can telepathically communicate.

Said Elemental Bond, as they call it, is strong enough that even Vengestone can’t block it- This is how the five all had a feeling of suspicion of Zane’s survival and other things.

And when an Elemental is in distress or fear or such, they start instinctively and unconsciously sending out mental distress signals that all other Elementals can feel- this is how Wu probably found Cole on the mountain.

Even after an Elemental’s power passes on, the bond remains.

Imagine if Wu and Garmadon come back in DR in the middle of a fight, and they beat up whoever the ninjas are fighting, and after the battle, Lloyd just tackles his uncle in a hug like-

"UNCLE WU!"

(Arin, Wyldfyre, and Sora realizing that the legendary Master Wu is also Lloyd's uncle-)

And old LG's in the background, mentally saying,

"Why do i not get this greeting." "Lloyd." 0_0 "Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon Spinjitzu that's ur uncle and i am ur father." "What."

"Son you haven't even said hello to me."

This is my 29th Headcanon But I Wanted To Do A Separate Post On It So-

Once, Wu heard some noises at night, went to the living room, and walked in on the six just hanging out in the dark because they all couldn’t sleep. They just couldn't.

Without even turning the light on,(they all could see pretty well in the dark) Wu just stood there and stared for about 30 seconds, before, still without turning the lights on, he went to the kitchen and came back with this certain tea he has that helps people sleep.

He had to give it to each of the six on their first nights in the monastery, and now he did it again.

This was the first time he had to give it to them since then, but Wu knew it wouldn’t be the last.

So Wu’s stocked up on the Sleeping Tea and after the Merge Lloyd finds his uncle’s huge stock of it and cries because he and others never knew about it, they just knew that Wu always had some for them.
