[ P.S : Please do not turn this ask into a thread without asking first 😉 ] Kanako was having lunch with Orihime-san at an adorably cute cafe. Taking a bite of the delicately decorated pastry, she hummed blissfully as she felt a bite of happiness melt in her mouth. The Lioness has always dreamt of going on a cute girl's day out, just like any other normal girl her age. Since it was difficult to be different, especially when she could see and experience supernatural things that others couldn't. No one would be able to understand her if she were to share her thoughts with them. And she would only be called out as a freak by others if she did. This would lead her to often isolate herself from her peers (especially at school), where the loneliness could sometimes be so overwhelming for her.

So, it was a huge surprise when Kanako met others like her, besides her older siblings, Kanata and Noburu. Making her extremely excited to befriend them. And, she was also thankful that she had finally met someone who shared the same abilities as her, someone she could talk to and share her woes with.

Returning to the present, receiving the amusement park tickets from the ginger, the Lioness said, "Orihime-san! You shouldn't have." Words couldn't describe all the joy, happiness, and gratitude she felt if she tried to fit them into a thought. But soon, though, her blissful happy thoughts came to a halt when she realized she would have to pick between her two siblings. And loving both of them equally and with all her heart, there was no way the Lioness could pick just one person to go with.

So, instead. "Orihime-san, would it be alright if you went with me?" Hoping to deepen their friendship even more.

Hi there! First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read these!!

You can call me Bibis, I’m 25 years old and roleplaying has been one of my hobbies for over ten years, I’ve been a part of the Bleach fandom for about that same amount of time too. However, I still haven’t finished reading the manga (I’m always working and when I finally have some free time I have no energy to do anything guys, help). But I’ll eventually finish it, I swear… Or I’ll at least watch the anime bc I’m super hyped about this revival. ANYWAYS, yes, this is just a heads up that I do know some things about the last arc of the manga but not everything. But don’t worry, depending on what we choose to write, I’ll do my reasearch!! <3

I work 44 hours a week (sometimes more) and I’m still finishing my university course, so my activity will be low, especially from monday to friday. Shipping can be super fun, but only if there is chemistry. So there has to be a lot of plotting and our characters need to interact a few times for me to consider shipping them!! My main verse is set when Ichigo is around 18 years old and finishing up high school!! i'm tech savvy af. i enjoy building pc, & even helping friends put pc together that give me a budget they have in mind, & working out what would be best for their value, along with cpu/gpu preferences. also do a bit of overclocking. my current build, if it had not been for sales i took advantage of may have costed me like $3000ish to build, but it was a good bit cheaper since i'm a bitch for sales.

i actually really like old wrestling ... like when it was back in attitude era, that was the good shit, & yea, i'm a bit like majima, i see big bara men & be heart eyes. don't ask me what goes on now though, it kind of got disinteresting, all i know is kenny omega has a sephiroth entrance, & i think that's cool af.

i collect pokemon cards, started back when it was black & white sets, did take a break somewhere ? now i'm back into it, i don't go anywhere crazy like buying multiple booster boxes etc, i tend to just get one, & maybe the etb. i actually have a zipped binder half full of full arts, i intend to fill it someday. just, i want them to make a full art of haxorus, haxorus gets no fucking love, & he's my favourite. ;-; the only thing redeeming about this is that i did manage to land myself an axew shiny during the poke go fest last year on that app.

15. What do you look for in a rp partner?

For me, besides basic etiquette, is someone that takes initiative & also has full engagement when plotting. although sometimes i can be "absent" or ghost for a couple days at a time, i do appreciate when an rp partner hits me up first. i'm also chalk full of creative planning & like when an rp partner gives the same energy back and can generate a lot of new and fun ideas for our muses to interact. of course... i won't know that until we become mutuals how deep they can go but i see now with having loid for nearly a year now that a lot of dynamics discussed with my mutuals have been the same or similar plot point. i love the spy x spy dynamic or loid having coworkers or adopting a new kid, & i just want us to delve deeper. i love unique relationships. we don't have to stick to one route, so rp partners do not be afraid to throw ideas at me so those relationships can develop. let's give our muses a story! doesn't have to be random.

i look for open minded people too. chill people too because i'm generally a calm individual & i don't like to get wrapped in the chaos on here if i don't have to. i look for amicable people that i can come to whenever i'd like, i look for those that are honest with me , & i look for partners that don't rush & take their time with their replies. it can be weeks to months later & i'll be still be happy you wrote a masterpiece by giving it your all as opposed to impulsive roleplay. i respect that. plus, i move like a turtle myself and i'm not looking for things to reply to asap unless it's short or crack since i like quality writing rather than quantity.

22. Short, medium, or long threads?

Definitely somewhere between short and medium so i don't make my head explode. one or two paragraphs at minimum. three tops. any longer makes me feel the need to match or get close to it & i find that can make me stress and i'm focusing more on length than the narrative. i also find longer threads do consist of more purple prose which can sometimes confuse me too when i read them, so i stick to smaller threads that can get more to the point so we can move forward. though some are exceptions because i've got a few in my drafts ;) it really depends on the plotline & where it goes.

Not on this blog! But definitely I’ve had some teary moments co-authoring fics and the like (that’s basically the same thing as rp). I’m very good at making myself sad about Grimmjow ahahaha

38. What advice would you give to someone new to rp?

My biggest piece of advice is don’t be afraid to reach out and talk to others first. I have seen a lot of blogs come and go, and a lot of people whinging about how they don’t get enough interaction, or how people never send them asks, or reply to their starters. And my thought is always the same: Did you send an ask? Did you reply to an open starter? Did you make any attempt to interact with them or are you both just sitting on your thumbs um-ing and ah-ing and waiting for someone else to decide to message you first?

I don’t intend for this to sound mean at all, I understand that some people can be anxious (I certainly can be), but I also genuinely believe that a lot of anxiety is sprung from the lack of open communication. When I first started out I was one of the people who kind of just... posted a lot and hoped my followers would start sending stuff? And that didn’t happen. It made me feel really shitty and I lost a lot of confidence in myself and my writing. And that was wrong, both as a thought process and as an overarching mentality. My writing isn’t bad, my characterization isn’t bad, and I’m not a bad person. The only issue was that someone at some point needs to take the first step and say hello!

Here’s Plou’s quick guide to starting interactions if your anxious! (below the cut)

Step 1: See an ask meme on someones blog that you really want to befriend them, send them one or two questions! Read their answer! And then (and here’s the tricky part) leave a little comment in the replies of that post to tell them what part of their reply you liked, you can even leave a little IC reply of your muse reacting to something. - Now you’ve broken the ice! The mun knows who you are (and if you are mutuals) and will probably be pretty grateful that you sent an ask! You can now send more, and they might even send you a few back! Now you’re interacting!

Step 2: Now that you’re interacting, you can try to send an IC ask (You can do this in step 1 too, but if you’re more shy you can wait for step 2!) - whether its from a meme or not. Starting from a question means that you are already in the middle of a conversation with the muses, and it helps to make things flow more smoothly. Don’t be stressed if the thread dies after a reply or two - it’s not meant to last forever and that’s okay!

Step 3: Send an IM. This might feel like the biggest step, but do not worry. A compliment, I find, is the kindest and nicest way to introduce yourself ooc. I know that I for one am always very flattered if someone takes the time to find something about my recent reply/writing/characterization/hcs and share that with me. A little ‘Hello! I laughed so much at xxxx line you wrote’ or ‘I love your hc on xxxx!’ is such a nice message to get. Being nice is the best way to make friends and it can lead to more RP in the future.

Note: If you don’t ‘click’ don’t worry. You’re not always going to be best friends with everyone. Leave it be. That doesn’t mean that they don’t appreciate your asks, and wont send you some, and it doesn’t mean that you can never write together. It just means that you don’t have perfect chemistry. Furthermore, don’t be dissuaded by seeing others interact with their friends on the dashboard. Some people have been writing together for years, and its presumptuous to assume you will have the same friendship in only a few days.

And sometimes you just don’t get along with someone at all. The chemistry isn’t there. It doesn’t mean either of you are bad people - it just means you aren’t compatible. Let it go. It’s not a big deal. You’ll find your people.

Kanako knew that it was never going to be easy attending the Shaman King's Selection, but she didn't expect it to be so vicious and brutal. Her goal was never to be the next Shaman King. Instead, it was so simple and almost laughable, that all she ever wanted was to meet more people like her and her siblings. Yet, winning the first round was easy for her, but the second round nearly cost her her life, against an opponent who was not only fierce and strong, but also a coward. That he used underhanded and dirty methods, that were easily or purposely overlooked by his Patch officiant.

The only reason, is why didn't she give up or throw in a white flag? It was due to the sexist insult, he threw at her that the Lioness had enough ammunition of motivation and strength to knock him down, with just one attack, knocking the smug look off his face, and win the second round.

In the hospital, she stares gloomily outside the window with a broken leg, as her thoughts begin to sink into a lamentable whirlpool, feeling furious and upset with herself, for letting herself dance to the man's rhythm. Suddenly out of nowhere, a ray of sunshine greeted and hugged her "Orihime-san!?" Stunned. "What are you doing here? Oh, please don't cry."
