AFTER the movie’s conclusion. with the spell cast and the tears in the multiverse fixed, everyone has forgotten who peter parker is. while spider-man is remembered, and certain records or traces of him are left behind, peter is left to pick up his own pieces himself and move forwards. he ends up getting a small apartment for himself, and begins to work on getting his GED and planning to apply to Empire State University. all the while, he decides to make a new suit for himself and fulfill his responsibility by continuing his role as spider-man.

ALT POST N.O W.AY H.OME — hurt and grieve but don’t suffer alone

AN ALTERNATE ROUTE for nwh’s conclusion, in which the results of the final spell differ. this can either be the ORIGINAL goal of everyone forgetting that peter parker is spider-man and nothing else, OR it can cause everyone except those who knew his identity before the reveal to forget ( allowing select people to remember ), will likely vary based on thread/plot. while he does still get a new start by finding a place for himself, he has the support he doesn’t get if everyone forgets him. this makes it easier to allow a variety of threads and keep dynamics intact

COLLEGE —  i think i’m still turning out

the overall college verse! peter attends Empire State University ( through the achievement of a good scholarship ) where he’s aiming to study biochemistry and physics. nwh’s conclusion STILL applies here, obviously ( or the alt verse ), this is just meant to be more of a catch-all verse/tag to be used for vaguer threads/stuff further into his timeline where it’s mostly focused on his time in college ( as opposed to being centered around nwh’s events )

by the way, i take heavy inspiration from the novel and podcast in my portrayal of robin! i definitely want to throw out some in-depth headcanons about its specific events/look into her character eventually, but it’s probably just gonna be a handful of names/references that come through in replies right now. 

specifically kate, dash, and milton as past friends of her’s from band ( kate and milton who she’s kept up with but drifted apart from, while dash is an ex-friend completely— milton will also likely be referenced as part of her journey with figuring out she’s a lesbian since their friends encouraged them to date for a bit ), mr. hauser ( her past english teacher who was a mentor figure to her ), and robin’s past friendship with barb when they were much younger ( also drifted apart when barb befriended nancy )

SAINT / VERSE - BUNGOU STRAY DOGS

Ability: Greased Lightning (couldn’t resist, probably named it himself, the nerd)— When using his ability, Saint can grant himself control over most vehicles under the condition that he has already driven them himself at least once before, essentially driving them without touching them at all. He’s able to navigate them even if he can’t see the road ( through instinct, as if he can visualize it through his mind’s eye ). He can control multiple at once, but will exhaust himself if he pushes it TOO far. As well, he’s a VERY skilled driver, constantly pulling risky moves and racing through roads at high speeds, but with a knack for succeeding at what seems highly dangerous.

Saint’s background is relatively the same. He grew up in Yokohama living with his parents whose relationship deteriorated over the years, however they stayed together due to an inability to divorce based on a lack of enough money. As well, his interest in cars was still born from helping his father out at an auto repair shop and he not only realized his love for driving, but came to terms with the existence of his ability through a joyride after running out of the house one night ( as a preteen ). His true dream is to be a race car driver, but with his age and lack of resources holding him back, he spends his time after graduating high school focused on earning as much money as possible. After working a couple odd jobs for awhile, he started taking up driving gigs, eventually leading himself towards… well, both the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia. Mostly an accident, he was just taking all the offers he could get and realized a little too late that he’d somehow have to juggle driving members of both groups around for their different affairs. And even though he never CLAIMED to align with either, chaos ensues as he tries to keep this hidden from each group.

Overall, Saint is a neutral party, not involving himself in the fight between the ADA, the PM, and other groups, although based on his impulsive nature, there’s a chance he may jump in to help during some instances ( this also leaves him open to persuasion from either side, but that remains only a possibility; by default he’s mostly focused on doing his jobs and not getting shot or worse in the process ).

So I have a multichapter fic I’ve been working on for Schitt’s Creek, and while I already have a wonderful, amazing beta who has been so helpful and stuck with me, I would really like another set of eyes on it to help me more with the plot points/planning and outlining/continuity, especially if you have experience with multichapter fics. I’m struggling with where to take it and how to get to certain points. Please let me know if you’d be interested! The story is about 18K at the moment, but I imagine it will be more like 30K when I’m done (if I finish sdjklsd)
