((Issimo is a spy, and has built his career on trickery and stealth.

But that does not stop me from imagining him with Jacksepticeye levels of energy when he’s NOT on a mission, or when his mission has nothing to do with stealth.

There’s a reason his old commander so easily traded him away to Shade Fox when he was new to the Hunters. Issimo is loud, he is sassy - he is a walking distraction when not given anything more productive to focus his energy towards. He is (lovingly) called a menace by his unit mates, and wears it like a badge of pride.))

((WIP sketch of the fusion form, because I am very bad at Calling Things Done. Trying to see if we can keep some key pieces for silhouette reasons while still cutting down on excess clutter.))

💓 - What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection? (Issimo)

Before going public with his affection, Issimo will start doodling in the margins of his notepads, and he’ll run little errands for the person, and take note of the things they like or really want for presents.

After going public, color-coordinated flowers will be left on doorsteps. Favorite snacks will be hand-delivered. So, SO many lyrics will be written. Issimo will serenade the object of his affection in public, and spend as much of his free time with them as possible.

"I'm fine, I'm fine..." Issimo put on his best smile, and avoided the rest of the questions. His location had been classified, and Shade Fox hated it when he played guessing games. "The patch job isn't that bad, is it?" He raised one hand to his neck, where he knew the barely visible seams of a synskin patch still were. "I thought the medics did a pretty good job on it."

Background blog facts that are no less important but that I don’t have enough thoughts to make full headcanon posts about yet:

The original task force Viking was commissioned for was called Strike Nine, and was about 65/40 Human/Reploid.

Two other members of Strike Nine - both Human - helped Viking disappear after he’d decided to leave the task force.

Farraday Labs has an ongoing lawsuit pending against Allen Adagio of Adagio Music for breach of contract after they pulled the Reploid Acoustikat out of early observation without permission.

Issac and his wife Amari originally only got married for the legal and tax benefits.

Issac Farraday lied on his resume to get a job working under Dr. Cain when Reploids first began to be mass produced.

Issimo and Acoustikat know of each other by X4 and are slowly starting to get to know one another post-X8. Neither of them know about Viking.

Despite both of them attending Black Lake in an overlapping time period, Issimo and Viking have never met.

Farraday Labs relocated to one of the smaller orbital colonies, called “Vaalbara”, during humanity’s expansion into space.

Octavia Xu also relocated to the Vaalbara colony, where she met with Issac and Amari Farraday, and worked with them to create Remedy based off of old plans she and Lester had been working on for their third child.

Remedy used to get in mild trouble with the local law on Vaalbara for using her Copy Ability to cheat at Hide and Seek by mimicking the forms of nearby Reploids (including those in law enforcement).

His powerful observation skills will remember the one time you offhandedly mentioned a specific flower or snack being your favorite, and he'll go out of his way to find that specific one to cheer you up when you're feeling down.

Issimo: “Thanks fam!”

Viking: “Oh no.”

Acoustikat: *cries* “I love you too!!!”

Remedy: “Sounds fake, but okay!”

Gospel: *a flustered mess*

((Alright it took me a little longer to get something written but I think I’ve got a rough idea down for this:

Gospel’s ability to function as a type of power armor started when Issimo asked Issac Farraday - a talented roboticist and pusher of the boundaries of science, and Issimo’s original builder - to take a look at Gospel after the Nightmare Incident. Issac was more than happy to turn in an old favor, but while Gospel was in his custody, Issimo was called up for a mission, and was out of contact for several weeks.

Issac has a terrible sleep schedule and hyperfixates easily, and Gospel will always say yes to an opportunity to protect his best buddy, so - fueled by caffeine and the permission of a dog, Issac reformatted Gospel to have a summonable power armor form while Issimo was away.

He then slept for 12 hours straight and forgot all about it, thus saying nothing when Issimo came to pick up Gospel when his mission ended. Gospel, in turn, never mentioned it because he didn’t see a reason to, and an opportunity to fuse just never came up for years, until finally, one of Shade Fox’s already intense training exercises got a little TOO intense, and Issimo accidentally summoned Gospel to avoid a nasty trip to the med bay.

They were then stuck in their fused form for two and a half hours while trying to figure out first what the heck had even happened and second how the heck did they undo it.))
