So Miles isn't great when it comes to sewing. Stitching up tears in clothing is one thing, but stitching together a plush toy is a very different matter entirely, and you'd think he would have learned that by now.

Alas, apparently he has not, because there is a plush dog sitting on the counter next to where Otto can usually be found. It's positioned not to interfere with any of the paperwork and missives to be found there, although it is leaning to one side just slightly due to the stuffing being unevenly distributed throughout its soft little brown body. Two black buttons act as its eyes, with a third for a nose, and one can only wonder how many times the Cursebreaker jabbed his finger(and muttered expletives because of it) whilst stitching the critter's smiling mouth.

All in all, it may not be very impressive in terms of needlework. Even the floppy ears are uneven in length, with one teetering a bit too close to covering the corresponding eye. But it's the thought that counts, right? And it's clear that time, love, and care went into crafting the toy -- so there's no lack of thought to be found with it!

Of course, there's a small note next to the stuffed dog, slipped partially beneath one of the legs to keep it from getting lost or blown away:

I figured you could use some company when I'm not around. He won't tell you any jokes, but with luck, maybe he will earn one of your handsome smiles in my stead.

At first, Otto wondered if one of the children had left a toy behind. But as he approached to ensure none of the ledgers or documents were missing or damaged, he caught sight of the note.

Miles' handwriting was immediately recognizable, by now. Otto glanced between it and the clearly handmade plush dog; had Miles... made it himself? The idea conjured such an endearing image in his mind, he indeed couldn't help an affectionate grin. He had no idea whether the expression was all that 'handsome', but knowing Miles thought so was enough.

Tucking the note away for safekeeping, Otto carefully picked up the plush, smoothing a thumb over one of its lopsided ears. As his smile took a softer turn, he murmured, "...You darling sap. Come back soon, aye?"

Foolish can change his height in canon (i think), so if he's in a lee mood, he'll lay in the path of whichever ler he wants to tickle him, and he'll shrink to their size, arms up and behind his head. How could any ler resist that? (they really do try, but its foolish - ha pun) if he in ler mood, he stays at a decent ish height (about ten foot), grab his (mostly shorter) lee off the ground and tickle them all he wants while cooing at how "small n cute" they are.

the scene from ep 16 i giffed this morning (here) like it's SUCH a pivotal scene in my opinion. we see dongsik tell juwon straight out that he did nothing wrong and he's not at fault for the horrible acts his father committed. he doesn't have to sacrifice himself. for him. that's not what he's asking of him, actually he's not asking anything of him if not that he doesn't put himself in further danger. and i also think the way juwon is so quiet during most of the scene is so interesting and important. we've seen juwon say he's gonna break himself into pieces, go to hell, to atone. now he's being told he doesn't have to do that. he shouldn't do that. and all he says is: first, he won't apologize. secondly, "i'm sorry". we see how much dongsik's opinion and feelings matter to him and we see it in the rest of the episode too, in how they team up to bring down han ki hwan, how they're partners, they've been for a while but now they've elevated to another level. they're one. SORRY I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS SMKDSNDSK

the scene in ep 8 where jaeyi finds out about her mother. SO heartbreaking i was literally sobbing and choi sung eun did a FANTASTIC job. the denial, the realisation when she sees her mother's hairpin, the way she breaks down. my dear, lovely jaeyi :((((

it's fresh in my mind because i read it recently, so i could just say all of inyeon and it'd be true BUT i particularly loved all the coming out scenes in the fic ANDDDD the scene where taek's dad shows jung hwan the piece of newspaper with his graduating class' pic. IT'S SOOOOO. it made me cry so much because it's him saying, you are part of the family. you have always been. always. 'The article is neatly cut out and tucked into the folder, the same importance given to it as every other snippet, as everything else that Taek has won.' and '“I watched you grow up into a good man, Jung Hwan-ah.
