Just wanted to share some Oilslick headcanons from my own personal hell scape

. He just knows he is hot shit

.not gonna lie he definitely made fun of people when he was younger but grew out of his mean faze when he became too tired to care

.He definitely smells like windex window chemical cleaner sorry I don't make the rules

.Oilslicks idea of a break is going down to a Neutral club and getting drunk

.He has a wardrobe full of expensive flowy robes that he wears to outing events or just to open a balcony door on a windy night with a wine glass of energon

.He is pretty touch starved mostly because he is afraid of intimacy going wrong and the fear of rejection

.he thinks its better to avoid love all together because most of his relationships in the past ended badly

.He loves fungi, like...loves them, he grows all kinds of mushrooms and moss but he also grows plenty of flowers toxic and non toxic

.he just loves deadly stuff, chemical pain is just fascinating to him

.he has health problems regarding his energon circuits because of exposure to dangerous chemicals

.pretty anti social unless he has known you for a while and unless he wants to get to know you

.He gets annoyed very easily at small mistakes, He has to be a perfectionist in his line of work as one thing goes wrong and its over

.The best way to calm oilslick down is with music, its like the only thing that works

.He prefers to work alone or with friends because he works beter without someone nagging him all the time

.He actually likes working with scalpel because they can have an upstanding conversation but know that they don't need to converse, they are comfortable in each others presence

He floated in the void, his ashy blue grey wings hanging limply around him.

He.. wasn’t having a good day. His normally gold eyes were a dull brown, and instead of feathery ears, normal human ears stood.

He swallowed.

Not.. a good day. Things can easily stack up. From reminders of something that happened a week ago-

-To things that happened earlier in the day-

He didn’t mean to- he was excited oh so excited but then he woke up too late. Too late to do the full thing.

-He squeezed his eyes shut, curling into himself as he none-existing wings curled up around him.

His brain was being stupid. Lingering on things normal people would have already forgotten about. Making him constantly watch every word that slipped from his lips, and watching everyone’s reactions. Watching every step he would make, making sure he wouldn’t upset anyone at any time.

Stop posting. You’re sharing your work so much. Stop talking in the discord, your bothering them. Stop it you’re bothering everyone else. Stop it. Stop it. Stopitstopitstopit-

His wings trembled as his hands gripped his head.

He was tired. He thought he was getting better he doesn’t want to fight anymore he’s so tiredsotiredsotired-

A choked sob ripped from his chest as tears squeezed past his eyelids.

He’s so tired of watching everything he does. He’s so tired of watching and waiting and doing all that he can to make other people happy.

But he can’t stop.

No matter what he does he can’t stop.

His feathers wrapped around his face, trying to hid his head from the cold biting void.

He could feel the oilslick lapping at his feet, staining his pants and causing cracks to run up his legs. He can feel the chains curling around his limbs. Keeping him from fleeing from the freezing oil.

He grit his teeth, feeling the pain jolting down to his jaw bone as he tried to ignore his loud thoughts.

Stopitstopitstopit- why do you try? Why do you ever try? You’re just doing it for attention. Sure. rant to everyone. Vent about your shitty past. Vent about how your dad slipped up. You’re just going to drive everyone away. You’re just doing this for attention. Why do you even try? Just stop it.

In another place he could feel his dog nosing at him. He could feel one of his hands digging into the dogs fur. Yet it did nothing. Nothing to distract from the too loud thoughts.

So he hid himself away. Hiding in the void. Hoping that someone would touch him. Drive away the coldness and just, hold him.

Tear after tear was flowing down his face now.

He wanted to be held. Wanted to ignore how something as stupid as a Muse talking to him makes his day.

Wanting to be able to breath without feeling like someone was squeezing his heart.

God.

His wings continued to tremble as tears ran and his mouth stayed silent.

Everything is hell.

He wants to break the rules. Wants to be trapped somewhere safe. Slipping from reality to a perfect world where he would be safe.

Where everyone would try to help him. Where he didn’t have to worry about anything.

Where he could be held. Where he didn’t have to have a puppet to stand in for himself. Where he could curl up to someone, knowing that they would fight tooth and nail just to keep him safe and sound.

His breathing continued to grow ragged as his fingers dug into his warm hoodie.

God.

Everything is just hell.

His body wasn’t right. His brain wasn’t right.

He wanted to give up.

..but he couldn’t. He couldn’t because that would make everything worse. Everyone around him would hate him for giving up. Hate him for giving in.

...

He was tired.

Oh so tired.

Dragon-ify your muse

Shadow is a Nocturne; partially because of the name, and partially because they look kind of small but pack a really big punch. His primary gene is Wasp in Oilslick; i chose this because i like the faceted-shimmery aspect of the Oilslick color, and Wasp goes with a slightly more ominous look. I chose Seraph and Terracotta for the secondary gene. I went with Seraph because Shadow kind of has a savior motif...so I thought that’d work.

Finally, I chose Runes because of chaos energy and how he’s a bit older (physiologically speaking) than the other characters. Similarly, I chose Arcane as his element to represent his power over chaos abilities.

I'm thinking of changing the theme of my page to be more oilslick oriented just because he's kind of my muse on this blog. I'll still be generalized transformers headcanons but I'll also look more like who I post about often.
