so im sorry for rambling a lot n not posting screenshots lol — ive started prepping my new dystopian/cyberpunk gameplay BUT ive also had yet another idea for a new cute sci-fi/fantasy save and it requires so much prep but also im so excited so here's a glimpse of my pinterest board for it!!!

i wanna try and make it cartoony kinda like my old the witches tales III save, and play with kind of sims i never play with (aliens??? i forget about them) and do things i never do in gameplay — im downloading a shirt ton of cc (as always), and recoloring game items and it's SO forking long (also i need to watch tutorials on how to replace debug objects meshes cause??? why doesn't it work) — also it's kinda inspired by my fave simblr ever's utopia save (pixelsinmyveins!!! check their blog out cause??? the t a s t e)

like not to be that bitch but i have really grown to love echo as a character and honestly think they are ruining her shot at an amazing love story LIKE SHE DESERVES for something that was fabricated off-screen and just dumped onto us so we could shut up about bellarke

their story might have been beautiful and maybe people would get on board if they had showed us how they got to where they are because during this season it got to point where i even forgot bellamy and echo were together and i just think echo deserves more

I don’t remember the exact reasoning for “The Long Grift” (as in, was it a Hurt Locker song? I’m 99% sure that was “When Love Explodes”.), but my brain is assuming it’s one of the songs Hedwig wrote after the Tommy Gnosis fiasco. “The Long Grift” is like what happened to her, y’know? He used her for fame and glory and took her songs and left. We know Hedwig doesn’t really like being open/vulnerable about Tommy OR Luther, so things like that are explained through songs sung by Yitzhak, or if you pay more attention to any of the songs really. They have the rock attitude but the lyrics are honest and true to what she’s feeling. She uses the flashing lights and dramatic movements to distract the audience from the sorrow in the songs. But I was listening to “The Long Grift”, and I realized something. Think about the lyrics:

You know that I loved you hon and I didn't wanna know

Was a tool of your trade, you gigolo.

Now, it got me thinking. Is Yitzhak singing them due to the fact Hedwig doesn’t want to admit she feels used and hurt by Tommy? Whenever she references him, she makes it appear that she’s angry at him. She showcases the Angry Inch following his tour stops as a way to seek revenge (in a way), and spread the truth of what happened. She implies there was pain, but she avoids admitting that it still hurts.

OR

Is this song sung as Yitzhaks feelings as well? I don’t remember where this song takes place in the movie, but I know that the entirety of the Angry Inch feel like they cannot do anything. Hedwig is in control. She flaunts this by reminding them she has their passports. She tears up Yitzhaks when there’s mention of him leaving for the audition thing. She’s so scared of losing people that she doesn’t let others get close. Not even her band. Not even her husband. Yitzhak’s life (and the rest of the Angry Inch’s lives, really) are in the hands of Hedwig. Remember how in the movie (and in the broadway production), Yitzhak and Hedwig didn’t feel married? Hedwig doesn’t let Yitzhak do drag. Yitzhak probably feels like their marriage is just an attempt for Hedwig to feel loved, but that doesn’t mean she has to love him in return.

But Yitzhak is smart. He wouldn’t have gotten into that mess and just sacrificed everything, right?

I wonder if Hedwigs bossy attitude was moreso a stage persona, and Yitzhak saw the other side of her in the times of silence. But that wouldn’t make much sense if you add into the movie, because even behind the scenes of performing, the main thing on Hedwigs mind is Tommy.

Did Hedwig promise happiness, but never fulfill that promise? That’s the only thing she ever experienced—that’s her version of love. So wouldn’t it make sense if Yitzhak was singing “The Long Grift” not only to show Hedwigs feelings about Tommy, but also Yitzhaks feelings for Hedwig?

Completely unrelated to recent news, but like, recent news reminded me to say something - I think I’m completely content to just chill with this one new property (and I’ll probably be looking out for the showrunners’ other projects in the future) and like a ton of older properties from my childhood, making fancomics, fanart, what have you, making my own original art (and GAMES!!!) and just like. existing outside of most current things. Not out of genuine dislike, but because, at the moment, I’ve gotten my fill. I don’t feel any desperate need to look for something new until I’m “hungry” for more.

honestly i’m just very very pissed about how he was handled after glee shifted both in target and genre. instead of making him a little less “hi i’m glee and i’m satire we have fake babies!” like they did with like, rachel or mercedes (who i think more or less survived the transition), they just wrote him the same and expected for it to work... except he was now somehow the moral compass. the guy who piloted his dad’s love life so that he could get closer to his (straight) crush, or told Rachel to dress provocatevely to freak out Finn, was now suddenly the “only candidate here who didn’t cheat”... except he then says Rachel that he wants to... excepts he then doesn’t go through with it (allegedely) but Rachel ??? does it ??? i have an headache just thinking about that whole thing.

also my favorite thing ever: “blaine doesn’t want to do me and i’m very upset about it” *forty minutes later* “aw blaine, thank you for wanting to do me but i want to sing with my friends ://”

also unpopular opinion: i really don’t like brittany. never did. i never even found her funny as a background character.

also i’ve talked massive shit about transmasc roxy as a headcanon being unfounded and kinda backwards but like. i’ll still take a thousand people who like it than like five “omg i love trans girl eridan so much <3 comfort character” types. like the headcanon *itself* for that one is.... loaded. in its own ways. though frankly i like it in a Nightmarishly Dysphoria-Inducing Culmination Of Homestucks Godawful Gender Roles sorta sense, but like. imagine actually *liking* Eridan, regardless of gender. like not even in a “sucks so much ilu” sense like- villain likers and bastard likers and problematic-yet-not-necessarily-INHERENTLY-irredeemable-shitshow likers are fine cool whatever but imagine sympathizing with that Fuck

I've seen a lot of people complaining about how it was Kate who was brought back, not Victoria - who had also been turned. Which is kinda funny, cause I swear the fandom was happy that she died. Anyway, to me it makes more sense that it was Kate who came back. The two biggest factors being a) Kate's personality, and b) the circumstances of Victoria's death.

Kate's personality: The biggest difference between the two Argent ladies is the respect they have for the code. It's pretty clear that Kate is a shoot first, ask questions later person, while Victoria gathers information and then acts. Kate is an opportunist, who will use the fact that she turned to her advantage, despite the fact that she was a hunter. Victoria, on the other hand would weigh the positives and negatives, and decide what to do based on code. Which is exactly what she did. And that leads into the next point.

Circumstances of Victoria's death: Victoria made a conscious choice to die. She wanted it to happen. After all, how could a werewolf be a part of a family that hunts werewolves? She didn't feel like she could continue raising Allison as a monster. She didn't feel like she could continue to be Chris' wife that way. She truly believed that ending her life was the best option for everyone, and that's why she won't come back. Kate, who was murdered, still has unfinished business. Even if it turns out to be as shallow as revenge, its still a reason nonetheless.

But, of course, that's just my opinion. I'd love to hear what other people have to say on the matter.
