The Book of Visiting the Sick
AYADAH
The reward for visiting the sick
149. When a man goes to visit his sick Muslim brother, he walks along a path of Paradise until he sits , and when he sits he is cloaked in mercy. If he comes in the morning, seventy-thousand angels pray for him until evening, and if he comes in the evening, seventy-thousand angels pray for him until morning.

The Universe Belongs to Allah ﷻ, Ash Shaafi, ذو الجلال و الإكرام, الصمد — ﷽ #Allah ﷻ’s name Ash Shaafi (The One Who Cures, the #Healer) is NOT mentioned in the #Quran, but occurs in a narration of the #Prophet ﷺ. Ash Shaafi is the ONLY One Who can #Cure and #Heal ANY #Disease or #Ailment. His healing is perfect according to His wisdom and He is the Source from which all cures come! 🔸 The One Who Cures, the Healer Shaafi comes from the root ❝Sheen◦Faa◦Yaa❞ which points to TWO main meanings. 🔹 The FIRST MAIN meaning is ❝To cure and heal.❞ 🔹 The SECONDARY meaning is, ❝To satisfy.❞ ❋ This root appears six times in the Quran, in two derived forms. Examples of these forms are: ❊ ❝Wa Yashfi (and will heal)❞ ❊ ❝Shifaa’un (a healing).❞ 🔸 Linguistically ❝#Shifaa❞ is used to indicate the ❝Cure❞ or ❝#Healing❞ of a disease or ailment. For example different goods or practices, such as honey, black seed and cupping therapy, as well as the Quran itself, are described to be or contain Shifaa. ONLY Allah ﷻ is Ash Shaafi, the Ultimate Healer and the Source of all cures! The Prophet ﷺ said, ❝Take away the disease, O the Lord ﷻ of the people. Cure him as You are the One Who cures. There is no cure but Yours, a cure that leaves no disease.❞ 〖Bukhari〗 🔸 Medical Treatment and Reliance on Allah ﷻ The Prophet ﷺ said, ❝Allah ﷻ has sent down the disease and the cure, and has made for EVERY disease the cure. So treat sickness, but do not use anything #Haram.❞ 〖Dawood〗 Also a Bedouin said, ❝O. Messenger of Allah ﷻ, should we not treat sickness?❞ He said, ❝Treat sickness, for Allah ﷻ has not created any disease except He has also created the cure, except for one disease.❞ They said, ❝O. Messenger of Allah ﷻ, what is it?❞ He said, ❝Old age.❞ 〖Tirmidhi〗 As believers, seeking medical treatment does NOT contradict our reliance on Allah ﷻ (#Tawakkul), just as warding off hunger, thirst, heat and cold does not contradict your trust in Allah ﷻ. Along with strong reliance on Allah ﷻ that He will bring you benefit in both worlds and will protect you, it is ESSENTIAL to take the APPROPRIATE means which Allah ﷻ has set in order for us to achieve results. NOT USING THESE MEANS AND TOOLS IS CONTRARY TO THE CONCEPT OF TAWAKKUL. ❨Paraphrased from "Zaad al Ma’ad," 4/15, Ibn ul Qayim❩ 🔸 How Can We Live by This Name? 🔹 Believe Allah ﷻ is the ONLY Healer Realize that Allah ﷻ is the One Who heals whomsoever He wills and He decrees sickness and death for whomsoever He wills. He says: وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلَّا هُوَ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ❝And if Allah ﷻ should touch thee with misfortune, there is none who could remove it but He; and if He should touch thee with good fortune - it is He Who has the power to will anything.❞ 【Quran 6:17】 The #Prophet Ibrahim ❪AS❫ used this beautiful fact as a POWERFUL tool of #Dawah: وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ ❝And when I am ill, it is He who cures me.❞ 【Quran 26:80】 IT IS PART OF OUR #BELIEF TO KNOW AND LIVE BY THE FACT ALLAH ﷻ IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN HEAL EVERY DISEASE OF OUR BODY, MIND AND HEART, BY WHICHEVER MEANS HE DEEMS SUITABLE. SO TRUST IN HIM FIRST AND FOREMOST, and THEN make use of the lawful treatments He made available for you through medical and other sciences. HOWEVER, NEVER attribute healing to medicines or other means and ALWAYS attribute our healing to Ash Shaafi, ONLY. ✺ Do NOT forget to say, ❝#Bismillah,❞ when you take ANY medicine 🔹 Live by the Quran Included in the Guidance for mankind to define the path to eternal success, the Quran is a Cure and Healing for ALL types of diseases and problems. Ash Shaafi clearly told us that the Words of the Quran are a Shifaa (Healing); HOWEVER, it is upon us to believe in Them and live by Them. Allah ﷻ says: وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا ❝THUS, step by step, We bestow from on high through this Quran all that

اللهم أنت السلام و منك السلام تباركت يا ذو الجلال و الإكرام ، اللهم نسألك من قوتك و عظمتك أن تنصرنا على من ظلمونا و ترد لنا حقوقنا ، و تأخذ بأيدينا لنقوى على أنفسنا ضد أعدائنا .
اللهم يا من خلقت السموات و الأرض ، في سبع أيام ثم إستويت على عرشك ، و يا من قلت إنك قريب تجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعاك ، نسألك ربي أن تجازي كل من ظلمونا ، و ترفع الظلم و المظلمة عنا و عن أهلنا ، و تجعل النصر و العافية ولي أمرنا ، بقدرتك يا كريم .
اللهم يا من لا عدل فوق عدله ، و لا قوة فوق قوته ، و لا قدرة فوق قدرته ، نسألك أن ترد الظلم عنا ، و ترد كيد الظالمين و الاعداء عن حياتنا ، و تبعد آذاهم و أذيتهم عن كل أمرنا و شأننا .
اللهم نسألك الأجر في مصيبتنا ، و الصبر على بلائنا و النصر على أعدائنا ، اللهم نسألك الثبات على دين الإسلام ، و النصر في الدنيا و الآخرة يا كريم .
اللهم لا تخيب أمل عبادك المظلومين ،فإن ثقتنا فيك باقية لا تزول ،و إن يقيننا بنصرك و لو بعد حين مؤكد ، اللهم نسألك أن ترد لنا حقوقنا ، و تنزل العقاب و البلاء على من ظلمونا و أكلو حقوقنا ، اللهم أفقرهم بعد أن أغنيتهم ، و ذلهم بعد أن رفعت شأنهم بقدرتك يا جبار .
ربي قد مسنا الضر و أنت أرحم الراحمين ، اللهم نسألك أن تنصرنا على من ظلمونا ، و ترفع كرب الظلم عنا ، و تجعلنا من الصابرين المحتسبين عندك يارب العالمين .
اللهم يا حي يا قيوم يا عالم الغيوب ، إليك أنبنا و فوّضنا أمرنا كله لك ، نسألك أن ترد كيد الظلام عنا ، و ترفع الكرب و ضيق الصدور عنا فأنت وحدك القادر يا رحمن يا رحيم .
اللهم يا من لا يظلم مخلوقاً بمقدار ذرة ، فأنت العدل و منك العدل ، اللهم يا من تجيب دعوة المظلوم ، نحن عبادك المظلومين نتوجه إليك و نتوكل عليك و نسألك أن ترد كيد الظالمين بنحرهم ، و تجعل أذاهم يرتد على أنفسهم بقدرتك يا رب العالمين .
اللهم نحن عبادك الفقراء المظلومين ، و نحن عبادك قليلو الحيلة و ضعفاء الحال ، اللهم نسألك إنتقاماً ممن ظلمونا ، و آذونا و أسائو إلينا ، اللهم نسألك أن تنزل عليهم المرض و السقم و العلة و البلاء و المصيبة يارب العالمين .
اللهم أنت تعلم بحالنا و ضيق صدورنا ، و سوء حالنا و ظلم الظالمين لنا ، اللهم إننا نخشى عقابك و غضبك ، و نسألك رضاك و كرمك ، اللهم ياربي أبعد الأذى عنا ، و رد ظلم الظالمين عليهم .

الآية دي فيها من اللطف الرباني يخليك تحس ان الدنيا صغيرة و تحس بقد ايه ربنا لطيف بينا، يعني كل اللي شاغلك ده و كل اللي مبهدلينك تفكير فيهم و كل الحجات اللي كان نفسك تلحقها و مش عارف (فانيين)، و ربنا اللي باقيلَك، كل الحجات دي همها و الحزن عليها ميسواش خالص جمب لحظة في جنب الله اللي باقيلك، و اللي عارف همومك اللي يقدر يفتحلك الطرق المغلقة و يصلح بينك و بين الناس و يحل مشاكلك بل و يقدر ينهي حيرتك و يكشفلك حجات عشان تبقى فاهم الحكمة من اللي راح منك وهتقول ساعتها الحمدلله، سبحان من له الدوام، سبحان ذو الجلال و الاكرام.

وصليت في التانـي على خير خلقه

فباسمك يا ذا العرش يستفتج المقر

تلاقاه لطف الله من حيث لا أدري

بأسمائه الحسنى المعظمة القدر

و أنت رحيم مالك الخلق و الأمر
بقدسـك قـدوس سـلام و مـؤمن
مهيمن قدسني لدى السر و الجهر
عزيـز و جـبـار و يـا متـكبر
و يا خالق الخلق إكفني أزمة الدهر
و يـا بارئ مالي سـواك مـصور
وغفار يا قهار جبر لذي كسر
وهب لي يـا وهـاب رزاق مطلبي

بنورك يا نور وهاد إلى اليسر

صبور أتح لي الرشد للشكر و الصبر
بأسمائك الحسنـى دعوناك نبتغي
رضاك ولطفا في الحياة و في القبر
و في النشر ثم الحسر و الموت الذي
تحاسب فيه الخلق يا عالم السر
و في حال أخد الصحف و الوزن بعدها
كذلك في حال المرور على الجسر
و عـافية دينـا ودنيـا و رحمـة
بفضلك في الدارين يا واسع البر
و ختمـا بحسنـى مع حوار نبـينا
