A piece from “war, war, until victory” project collection, February 2012 Homa art gallery Tehran Assemblage; Paper Cardboard Matches, Revell’s kits, oil based colors, on the pocket-size book, 16x12x7cm Artwork photography by Homa gallery photographer This piece is part of a Private collection of an art collector in Tehran ___________________________ “War, war, until victory” My childhood and adolescence was coincided with Iran-Iraq war, one of the tragedies of human history in twentieth century, a war that was supposed to break the back of Iran in three days; but taking too long, at least it could steal my childhood from me earlier than I deserved. Successively, awful sound of bombs, to repeat and repeat this slogan… War, war until… victory! war continued and all the time we expected uncertain accidents, with this slogan which we used to repeat it every morning at school, the ruins was ours with endless sequence that we were involved. The victory was ours on Tv, but when we were faced with the exact appearance of this victory, the crowd carrying a coffin, a photo of a martyr on his cemetery and the mourning banners on city walls, we surrendered to another kind of truth, we couldn’t see the victory, because the victory means the end but there was no end. The war was continued, every time that the victory was repeated. The unfilled gap between exaggerating the sweet sense of victory and the bitter reflections of war within the life, made a strange relationship in my mind, which I have established this series of my drawing_installations on this issue, sometimes with direct references to documentary indications and sometimes with expressive stating in a surrealistic structure. “Kitchen”, from the series of happiness Assemblage, composition of materials, Pocket Paper matches, curd, Linoleum printing, Painted by oil based markers, on the cover of the book 15x22x4 2010 A piece of works displayed in the artist's solo exhibition entitled "Happiness". From the "Kitchen" series, in Sein Gallery, Tehran, winter 2010 Graphic design of the catalogue: @chahab Tondar Poster design: Savaş Cekic @svs_ckc Art work Photography by: Mahmoud Sadeghlou _________________________ Saeed is also the son of this land, giving the title "happiness" to his exhibition, is very remarkable. Saeed's drawing book, which is always with him, everywhere he goes,‌‌‌everything that he observes, records as drawings and he shares them with us. his drawing book is his heart. somehow in his drawings, with collages and primitive prints, giving a valuable meaning to each spot, has become as his code. It is simple and free-standing. almost like a poem, naive and primitive. takes the viewer inside, narrates the story. takes us to our childhood, the stories which grandmothers and grandfathers used to tell.  This collection mirrors his whole life. rather than his poverty, indicates his spiritual wealth. and with this exhibition he shows his spiritual richness. Savaş Cekic @svs_ckc Istanbul, February 2010 Part of Savas Cekic note on my happiness collection #saeedensafi #iraniancontemporaryartist #tehran #kitchen #asemblage #linocut #printmaking #happiness #iranincontemporaryartist #warartist #asemblage #سعیدانصافی #هنرمعاصر #sculpture #red #battle_ship #book #art #Conceptual_Art #soldier #like #matches #هنر #اسمبلاژ #sculpture #کبریت_بغلی_تهران #کتاب #تهران #گالری_هما #red #safe_matches #آشپزخانه https://www.instagram.com/p/CJVIDabgQ-R/?igshid=1pvmymeq746s7
