Thanks for everyone who followed me from the radar and the boost given by @mariobros101 on this post!
First of all I want to introduce myself, I'm Weazel Tech, I post game dev and game dev related wares. Right now I don't have a game in progress but I have been practicing more 3D. My skillset and content currently leans towards Pixel Art, Low Poly 3D (at least, low poly looking stuff).
My preferred engine right now is Godot, but I also like to work with frameworks as well, like Love2D and Haxe Flixel//Heaps.
Even if you don't do game development stuff I hope you can learn a thing or two about the process.
About Wolf Boy
This post was sitting at 4 notes for about a month before being picked up by the Tumblr Radar.
Tumblr media
The Hope colors were accidental, sorry for all of the homestuck fans, I did read it tho.
Tumblr media
Those were the original colors for him, I had to tweak them to be more eye catchy and I think it worked out!
This model is available to download if you support me on ko-fi.
If you support me there you will also get access to stuff I make for free and early.
I'm not going to lie, getting picked up for radar was a bit overwhelming, and made me anxious to enter Tumblr for the last days, but not too much, it just feels weird to have a popular post.
This post has bumped my follower count from 104 to 213, but it didn't make most people check my older stuff, but I welcome you all, and I hope you can enjoy what I make going forward.
If you create art, I highly recommend submitting stuff there, it's a great way to bring attention to your art, which is more discoverability than any other social media platform for free*
\* be aware that you need to own the art you make (characters, IP, this kind of stuff) and that you're allowing tumblr to use it to promote their website if they want to.
If you don't know yet, you can submit stuff there yourself: (I don't even know if they pick stuff that wasn't submitted there)
Thanks a lot if you read so far, please consider supporting me on ko-fi it will really help me out going forward https://ko-fi.com/weazeltech, I want to make this my full time job.

STATUS UPDATE FROM NINJAMUFFIN99
(entirely copy-pasted from here; various words bolded/colored to make reading/skimming a lil easier!!)
-----
fnf status update i been in philly the past 2 weeks with dave working on the game, and we got some cool stuff in. in a few days I will be back in canada, and hopefully over the next month I wanna make good progress on some crazy programming stuff that I been wanting done for ages
we hired eric as an actual EMPLOYEE back in late august (as opposed to him just being a contractor), so we have had a nice lil parallel processing for programming stuff through september. although i been working on figuring out all this crazy fuss for PAYROLL lol!!!
we've definitely had many moments like this before, where we get on a good groove of production, only for it to feel very sideswiped by something else (or just ourselves), but I like to hope the important thing is we r always trying to work towards true blessed productivity
to end it off on more stuff I been doing, very soon (probably sometime this week), I will put out an open job application thingie for a lil programming contract job. non game / haxe related moreso some crazy backend systems work we need done. just finishing off application proces
do not inquire me about that contract job until I post about it though!! i will just ignore you lol!!! you will not be ahead of the pack just because you are a twitter fiend!!!!!!!*

Yo! With a title like Absolute Conspiracy and “witness history” in the poster, my mind immediately jumped to AT being the puppeteer that manipulated all the big bosses in the past. What are your thoughts about this idea?
I did posted about a similar idea to yours but with more info being released about the spin off, apparently AT is somehow manipulating and altering the Main M78 Universe's timeline
This is really uncharted territory here by a longshot cause we've only ever just heard Legendary Ultras being capable of such a feat, I mean the most relative being that comes closest to him is Legend that was that he could freely travel through time but reality warping in such a sense is really unheard of
I mean AT is just truly insane with hax with such a previously unheard of level of power that it may very well be possible
But man I really just don't know how Sakamoto could tell this story cause it'll get very confusing very fast
Like even tho AT might've only debut post NGC, his meddling with the timelines might've caused like a time loop that actually caused like say for example Reiblood to possess Belial way back etc etc, somehow in turn altering the timelines retroactively since Empera's invasion, but so like what events from then till now will be altered or retconned? And so like ever since 2009, which are the events that were altered from the main canon etc etc?
Yeah that is really alot of NOPE to answer
But then again Toregia also did the same thing with several big bads already but then would AT actually be also indirectly be responsible for Toregia's actions since he was inspired by Belial as well?
But like just how much involvement did AT really had with everything that happened within the canonical timeline as well is another question altogether
Yeah the Ultraman Franchise is really starting to kick into high gear internationally with UGF 2, we can expect things to get REALLY insane progressively with each succeeding series

Third party software/cheat :: Warframe General Discussion
Tumblr media
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥 Wallhax private cheats are coded with the most deadly aimbots we can create, powerful all-revealing ESP that shows you key details on every player. With a number of powerful features including our 3D ESP, deadly headshot aimbot, and exclusive damage multiplier feature, you can race through missions and maps faster than ever before. A big thank you to Yoko1, one of our community members, who has shared a number of videos using the Wallhax cheat, which can be seen below! You can adjust your cheat settings to your preferences. If you want to complete missions quickly, you can use a high 'Field of View' setting on your aimbot, so you can quickly snap from target to target and eliminate each opponent as soon as they come into view. With ESP, you can see the locations of any nearby enemies, increasing your efficiency. With the Damage Multiplier hack you can increase your gun weapon damage as much as you want, from 2x up to 99x normal! This makes it easy to take down even the toughest opponents. If you want to progress faster, unlock new warframes, gear upgrades, weapons and items, then with features like our bone aimbot, ESP, and damage multiplier you'll be able to complete missions, challenges, onslaughts and more faster and more efficiently than before! Learn more about our Warframe hack. Wall Hax Posted on October 4th, If you didn't already know, Counter-Strike hacks are popping up on almost all the servers that run the actual game. When it comes to successfully using your cheats and being undetected, it's all about using the proper cheat site. Our list features the top sites for hacking so read on as we dive in. Since the deployment of OverWatch, you're going to have to keep things smooth so that you won't get caught and immediately banned. When it comes to the site, you're going to get quite a few features with the bot. The CS: GO aimbot in this cheat was created to allow users to get a spot on kill with each shot. So, simply press your set button and you'll instantly be able to kill the opposing player. Next is ' Full ESP ' which allows users to see enemies that are headed their way and it gives you time to be prepared even before they spot you. With our private Wallhax cheat, you can also use the 2D Radar that easily lets you find enemies on your radar screen. Additionally, you can get a permanent crosshair in the middle of your screen with custom crosshairs. Another feature we may be able to implement is 'full removals' for completely removing spread, smoke, recoil, flash and fog from in-game. There's also the legit settings which can help prevent you from being banned with anti-cheat features like that of the famous Over Watch feature. Second, on our list is Big Milk and they have a pretty awesome bot as well. They've created a specially designed feature known as ESP which allows you to always see the skeleton of players. You can also make use of enhanced bot tactics as you attempt to play completely legit or you can use the auto-fire aimbot. Third, on our list is UnityHacks and if you're used to playing with pistols and sniper rifles, this is the perfect one for you. You're going to get to make use of super action fast kills. However, the hack on this particular site wasn't our favorite since it didn't work on all the other available weapons within the game. On the bright side, you can rest assured because you're not going to be caught with this hack any time soon. Fourth on our list is csgo-hacks. However, this particular hack has been known to get users banned so you're probably going to want to keep that in mind. If you've got another account that you're willing to part with, you can go ahead and check this one out. Last on our list is tmcheats. However, using this hack can very well get you banned. Our research has also indicated that this hack has gotten quite a few players banned. Our number one choice is going to be staying at the top position for quite a long time as we continue to develop the cheat, especially the deadly aimbot feature. If you're ever unsure about a hack, be sure to do tons of research before you get yourself banned! Wall Hax Posted on October 3rd, As someone that plays a lot of games, you are likely well aware of how many cheats are available. If you play CS:GO, you are likely someone that is very competitive. After all, it is easily one of the more competitive games being played. Even after a decade, it remains one of the most popular games streamed on Twitch and other platforms. If you really want to enjoy your game as much as possible with such a well-established fan base, you might consider using hacks for Global Offensive. You Are Naturally Competitive. The fact is, CS:GO is very competitive and you don't want to be left behind. If you are not constantly playing CS GO, you are bound to fall behind the competition. The fact is a lot of the CSGO players online play the game every single day. Therefore, if you are someone that takes days off or you go to play another game for even a short time period, you will likely fall behind the rest. The fact is, the competitive nature should be one of the main reasons to consider using cheats because they can help to swing the balance back in your favor. This is true even if you do end up taking days off. There is a reason everyone had a Game Genie back in the day. Having access to cheats is pure fun. It makes the game much more rewarding and it can truly change the entire experience that you can have. If you are tired of having the same boring experience over and over, it might be time to implement some hacks. That way, you can alter the games mechanics and spice things up. It can make your game sessions much more fun than ever before. This is a great reason to consider installing hacks because you are likely playing the game to have fun, to begin with. Therefore, if it makes playing the game more fun for you, it is something that you should at least consider. You're New To The Game. Are you someone that has tried and tried to get better at CSGO and you simply cannot get the aiming mechanic down? The fact is, CS GO is a very difficult game to master. Unlike other games, you are not going to have the ability to aim down sights the same way. Because of this, you really have to learn how to play the game. Along with this, it involves a lot of strategies which can really alter the way that you have to play the game to success. If you have tried to get better at playing the game and have found little to no success doing so, it might be time to try something new. If you are someone that is located in a different country than the server you are playing, you might be placed at a significant disadvantage right from the start of the game session. If you are tired of having such a major disadvantage, you could always consider installing CS:GO cheats for your game to make things much more even. After all, you are going to find it very difficult to compete with some of the best players within the game with a sky-high ping. If you are someone that experiences connection issues often, it might be in your best interest to even out the advantage and to really take advantage of them. The fact is, if you cheat in the game, you will win more. You will be able to win a lot more matches by using cheats because you will have the ability to 'carry' your team even when it is not good. This will help you really get as many wins as possible while playing. Not only is it going to make the game much more fun to play, but it can really enhance your playing sessions and make the game feel different. Not to mention, it can really help you if you are someone that wants to win every single match because you will have such a competitive advantage that it will tip the scales in your team's favor. Overall, there are plenty of reasons you want to consider installing some CS GO hacks and cheats. Not only can you get all kinds of cheats that can help you alter the game in various ways, but it is easy to install and it can make the game much more fun to play. This feature will show boxes or other information around other players in the match, and even objects like the bomb, or weapons others have dropped. With ESP you can always see where your opponents are at any given time, even through smoke or a flashbang! Since you can be reported, it's important to avoid cheating too obviously if you don't want to eventually get caught. Aimbots and Triggerbots can turn you into an absolute beast in the game, letting you wipe an entire team single-handedly. Some people just want to rage, shooting anyone the moment they come into view. If you're playing ranked, you likely want to stay under the radar to avoid being reported, so you'll want to use more 'legit' aimbotting or triggerbot settings. Wall Hax Posted on September 27th, Counter Strike is easily one of the most competitive games you will find anywhere. It is a game that has been involved with E-Sports since the very beginning. If you haven't done so yet, you might want to consider using Counter Strike Global Offensive hacks. Below, we will be going over some reasons to at least consider using them. Make It More Fun. For one, you might want to consider using hacks for this game to make it much more fun to play. Because the game itself has such a competitive player base, you are generally not going to have a great time playing it if you are not good at it. Because of this, by using hacks, you should be able to improve your entire playing experience by a significant amount. After all, you can use wallhacks and aimbot which will put you on a much more even playing field with people that have been playing the game for much longer. This will allow you to dominate matches and have much more fun winning and contributing to your team. Gaming is supposed to be fun and by using hacks, you can turn a competitive game into a fun one even as a beginner. As mentioned, the game itself is very difficult. You can make the game a lot easier by using hacks. This will help you really be able to minimize the learning curve that newcomers are typically faced with. After all, Counter Strike is a game that is very unique in terms of its play style. You need to know what to do and what not to do to succeed with the game. If you are brand new to the game, you can make it a lot easier by simply installing and using the various hacks available for it. If you are someone that has been playing Counter Strike since day one, you might be getting tired of the same old experience. Hacks are a great way to make the franchise and the game feel new again. With hacks, you will be able to switch up your play style and really enjoy the game much more than ever before. If you are tired of playing the same maps the same way, you can introduce hacks and really come up with new game plans that are tailored to your hacks to ensure that you are able to get an entirely new experience out of it. Making your game feel new again is one of the key benefits that you will be able to get out of using hacks designed for Counter Strike. Have you been online recently only to get completely destroyed? If so, you can get back at your competition without them knowing what hit them. By using hacks, you can give yourself a competitive advantage that you can utilize to really get the most out of your experience and to get back at the competition that embarrassed you previously. Because they are entirely undetectable, no one is going to know that you were using hacks and they will assume that it was all skill. Therefore, you can really get the payback that you want on your biggest competition in the game. If you have always wanted to get yourself into a CSGO clan , you will be able to leverage hacks on your way to getting into a clan. By using hacks, you can really get yourself into clans that you would otherwise not be able to because you will be able to prove yourself in a much better way. By using hacks, you can give yourself an advantage over the others that might try out for the clan and really get recognized over them. This is a great way to give yourself the extra boost you might need to join the clan that you always wanted to join. Get Started Cheating In Minutes. Another reason to at least consider using hacks would be the fact that it is very easy to do. It's not like it is a very difficult thing to accomplish. Installing hacks nowadays is easier than ever before and it can provide you with many benefits that you wouldn't otherwise be able to get. Overall, there are so many reasons to consider using CSGO hacks. Not only will it make the game much more fun to play, but it will also make it much more rewarding. CSGO is a very competitive game that might be difficult for brand new players. Therefore, if you are someone new to the game, you can give yourself the competitive advantage you need to compete with veterans and really enjoy yourself at the same time. Learn more about how to use CS:GO hacks with our definitive resource. If you don't have hundreds of hours to dedicate into training your CS:GO skills, map knowledge and reaction time, it can be frustrating when you're constantly being beaten by opponents who in some cases even may be using cheats themselves. Improving at the game is a slow process and even when using the correct training methods, can be a slow and arduous practice. When you load your game cheat into Counter-strike, you'll immediately start winning matches and shoot to the top of the scoreboard. With features like ESP, you can see the exact locations of opponents, giving you an unbeatable advantage. As you improve your skills, you can choose which features you want to keep on to give you the extra advantage. Wall Hax Posted on September 26th, Wall Hax Posted on May 7th, This new feature punishes those aggressive opponents who attack non-stop and allow you to play a more passive style if you want, waiting until they attack and then striking back. In this video clip, along with the enemy-only ESP , you can see Auto-riposte in action along with our the bot warnings that detect the current actions being taken by both you and other players. With Auto Lock-on, the cheat will turn to respond to attacks from multiple directions, helping out in chaotic team-based battles where you might be up against multiple opponents. Features like this can be toggled or customized based on your preferences. In these battles, you can still be taken down when you have multiple enemies attacking you at once, as you can only block one attack a time. Check out the latest Mordhau software changes below. Wall Hax Posted on May 2nd, In our cheat for the game, that means that we have boxes, nametags, health and more that shows over enemies in the game world. This is accomplished with injection of code into the game that lets you see enemies through walls or anywhere in the game once they are loaded into memory. This can give you the upper-hand in any encounter, and if you need to find a particular enemy, make it much easier. If you are flying through areas as fast as you can to grind, being able to see the locations of enemies at all times is quite helpful and a handy time-saving feature. A Review on Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
Note: This review is not mine.I have posted this review here because I feel it summarizes the anime Code Geass very well.
However I will be posting my reviews in the future once I get more experience.
This review is taken myanimelist from the reviewer kiriska.
Overall Rating 9
I was incredibly skeptical about Code Geass at first, but I'm very pleased to say that I was greatly surprised.
STORY - Before I saw this series, it was described to me on multiple occasions as "Death Note with mechas." After seeing it, however, I am inclined to disagree. The similarities between the two series are superficial at best, and though I can see why people would draw the comparison, I don't really think that dis/liking one means that you'll dis/like the other. But anyway, unlike Death Note, I wouldn't say that the story in Code Geass is particularly notable or unique. It's actually rather straightforward and even a little cliche, but that's exactly why this is such a well done series -- the barebones storyline is handled in a refreshing and new way that grabs the viewer's attention. There are enough twists and turns involved to keep you on the edge of your seat. The pacing is excellent and nothing feels rushed or drawn out. Indeed, the progression up to the conclusion is especially brilliant. (It's a cliffhanger "ending," but oh, it's just a fantastic cliffhanger.)
The series is also appealing in its uncanny ability to mix genres. Yes, this is a mecha series, but it really doesn't have to be. Yes, CLAMP did the character designs and there are some very shoujo elements (read: homolust), but there are very shounen rivalries and some pretty epic battle scenes too. Everybody wins! Additionally, because of the number of characters, the story allows for a number of small subplots. I was very happy with how this was handled in particular because all of the subplots relate and affect the main plot directly, whether by revealing some bit of information to both the characters and the viewer or by pushing forward interesting character development. Everything is well thought out and wonderfully executed, so despite the fact that "strong-willed person with plans to change the world receives mysterious power that helps facilitate his goals" isn't a very unique storyline... Code Geass makes it work.
Also. Code Geass utilizes the "best friends trying to kill each other" plotline, and I'm a sucker for that plotline.
CHARACTER - The characters in this series are rather varied. Some are very plain and one-dimensional, while others have an amazing complexity to them that makes them very life-like. I'll be honest. I've become somewhat infatuated with Lelouch as a character (and am rather biased as a result). To me, he is very much a human character -- he has emotions, opinions, a unique point of view, and some very serious flaws, all of which make him incredibly easy to relate to and to sympathize with. He is easily the most complex character in the series, and he feels real to me, even with his supernatural powers and his genius-level intellect. This ability to make the audience relate to him is also probably the series' greatest strength and the main reason why the story is able to remain relevant and interesting despite the fact that there aren't too many new ideas plotwise.
Suzaku would probably be second in line for complexity after Lelouch, though his sense of justice might be called cliche at first (along with Nunnally's and Euphemia's), and his hax-level physical prowess is somehow harder to accept than Lelouch's genius-level intelligence. It's harder to appreciate Suzaku's depth at first, partially because he is presented as Lelouch's main obstacle and the audience's sympathies are with Lelouch, but a great deal is revealed about his character throughout the course of the series, and he becomes an amazing foil to his rival. Their conflicting ideologies and philosophies are fascinating if you really look into it, and gay as it sounds, they really do compliment each other very well.
Much of the rest of the cast seems to fall into typical archetypes -- there's your adorable little sister, your mad scientist and his assistant, your cheerful schoolgirls, your best friend, your most loyal soldier, your second-in-command, your village idiot, your... really creepy lesbian girl? Despite the generic-sounding descriptions, most of the characters are actually pretty fun, or at the very least, interesting. C.C. provides snarky commentary. Shirley spreads innocent schoolgirl love. Nunnally is so moe you'll die. Jeremiah is a good butt of all jokes. Little bits of backstory are tossed in here and there to separate them from the crowd, but it's never enough to actually intrude, and the wide range of characters lets you settle into the world pretty well too; after all, what universe is complete without an animal mascot that shows up now and again?
ARTWORK & ANIMATION - I wasn't too impressed with CLAMP's character designs at first (noodleboys!), but as always seems to be the case, they gradually grew on me, and I remembered just how pretty X was. CLAMP just knows how to make everyone look amazingly sexy, male or female. I really loved how they did all of the facial expressions in the series though, especially for Lelouch. Seriously, that guy had some of the most awesome crazy expressions, some of the most amazingly touching sadface expressions, and of course, some of the most amusing WTF expressions. The mecha designs for the Knightmare Frames were also pretty awesome. I dig the whole rollar blade thing, and some of the technologies they come up with are neat, if a little over-the-top. The animation is fluid and smooth for the most part and very few things stood out as being bad.
MUSIC - Initially, I wasn't particularly fond of any of the OP/EDs for Code Geass except the first ending by ALI PROJECT because 1) they're awesome, and 2) Yuki Kajiura's style seemed to suit the series very well. The screaming violins both convey the high status of Britannia and the intensity of the emotions in the series. The rest of the themes seemed lackluster in comparison, but though I was never a huge fan of FLOW, "COLORS" kind of grew on me after a while. The final insert song, "Innocent Days" by Hitomi is pretty nice as well. Very thoughtful, very poignant, very fitting. The background music during the series was negligible for the most part; there is some pretty generic battle build-up type music and other appropriate, but rather typical, themes. Still, there's some neat classical/opera stuff, and the "All hail Brittania!" theme is definitely awesome.
VOICE ACTING - I've seen all of Code Geass subbed and most of it dubbed. Although I was incredibly turned off by Johnny Yong Bosch's role as Lelouch initially, it kind of grew on me, and now I think it fits well enough, though I do wish he'd change his voice a little more when Lelouch is Zero (make it a little deeper?). Suzaku's dub voice surprised me with how appropriate it was too. One of the things I really wish we could replicate in English though, is the subtle differences in manners between characters, between Lelouch and Suzaku at various stages of their lives, and between Lelouch and Zero. In Japanese, when Lelouch and Suzaku are children, they refer to themselves with "boku" and "ore" respectively. As teenagers, the pronouns are swapped, with Lelouch using "ore" (Zero uses "watashi") and Suzaku using "boku." Euphemia uses "watakushi." I'll skip the grammar lesson (go wiki "Japanese pronouns"), but suffice to say that these differences provide a lot of very interesting insight into each of the characters. It's really too bad English isn't nearly as interesting.
The rest of the voices in the dub are pretty average, perhaps the low end of average, with a stereotypically high-pitched girly voice for Nunnally that is amazingly annoying, and very forgettable voices for virtually all the female characters (Milly, Shirley, and Kallen all kind of sound the same). I was very impressed with Lloyd's dub voice though, even if nothing will ever amount to his amazing original voice, which is uh, amazing! Seriously. One of the most amusing voices I've ever heard. Jun Fukuyama's voice for Lelouch I found to be a bit too deep/old sounding initially, but that grew on me as well, and I really love the badassity of his voice for Zero. Suzaku's original voice sounds a little generic at first, but it grows with his character. There's a good bit of Engrish in the Japanese version as well, which is always fun. I don't think you can ever get tired of their "Yes, my lord(o)!" or their "All hail Britannia!"
Overall, I'd say the original is damn awesome, and the dub is pretty watchable -- always a plus, right?
OVERALL - I really love this series, and I definitely did not see that happening. Honestly, I found the first episode incredibly underwhelming: the opening sequence made it look like a series I wouldn't be interested in watching at all, and all of the expository really turned me off...but the second episode? That was so much more epic than I could have ever predicted, and I was pretty much won over after that. I'm just a sucker for chess analogies, I guess! Seriously though, good story, good characters, good animation, and good music! Mechas, politics, rivalry and comradery, strained friendships, love and hate, complex ideologies, and blowing shit up! What more could you want? :D

OK! Main storyline for Pokemon: Silver is now complete for my bugrun! Breaking this up into two posts.
The final Rival battle wasn’t too bad, despite missing a team member for my Water HM slave. I got the Light Screen up and just used Shuckle’s Rollout for his Typhlosion. I was hoping Ledian’s shiny new Ice Punch might take care of Golbat but it wasn’t quite enough, so Forretress was plan B there. I was worried about Kadabra but it only took two Leech Lifes to take him out. The silly thing uses Future Sights, so my poison spider didn’t even care. :P
Then it was on to the Elite 4! Well, after some grinding. Which kind of sucked, because Victory Road ain’t exactly bug-friendly. Ah well. The whole boring Elite 4 saga behind the cut! (the Champion battle will be in a second post)
Will wasn’t too difficult. Tossed up a light screen with Ledian and 2 ice punches knocked out Xatu. Xatu didn’t carry any Flying-type moves so the best it could hit me with was Psychic. Jynx went down to Shuckle’s Rollout after a few hits, and I sent out Ariados for Exegeccutor. A risky move, yeah, but my best choice, as I didn’t have any good bug moves on this team. (ironic, I know. but gen 2 still sucks for good bug moves. Heracross sadly doesn’t get Megahorn until level 54.) One sludge bomb wasn’t QUITE enough to take it out, but Ariados just barely managed to survive a Psychic (at 3 hp). Ariados is BOSS. Followed up with another Sludge Bomb. Yanma’s Solar Beam + Quick Attack took care of Slowbro.
Koga was interesting. In this game he has three bugs on his team, so it was fun seeing his bug strats. I opened with Ledian but immediately got a freeze hax on Ariados. Oops. I used Shuckle for Crobat. The bat toxics and then began stacking Double Teams, so its strategy was obvious, but luckily I got enough Rollouts off before it got hairy. Sent Ledian out again against Forretress, and … got another freeze hack. Jeez. Lucky ladybug strikes again. I just slowly punched Forretress to death. Finally, Heracross used Earthquake to take care of Venomoth and then the tanky Muk.
For Bruno, Deja Vu soloed the venture. By the time he reached the toughest one, Machamp, and got hit by a couple Rock Slides, he was into red HP. This was perfect, because I had Reversal. Bruno used a Full Restore when I had almost taken Machamp out, but it didn’t matter, because at that point, Reversal just 1HKO.
Karen is where things got tricky. I opened with Heracross, used Reversal on Umbreon. Not powered up this time because I healed– probably shouldn’t have, but oh well. Three Reversals finally brought Umbreon into the red but by then it had gotten up three Sand Attacks and a Confuse Ray. So I just brought Yanma in to pick off with Quick Attack.
Next came Houndoom. I sent my Shuckle out, my designated poke for dealing with fire types. Got two Rollouts off and tanked a Flamethrower pretty decently, all things considered. Things were going great …but then Houndoom used Roar. I, err, didn’t know it had that. I was roared into Ledian so I put up a Light Screen while I had the chance and went back to Shuckle. But after one Rollout it Roared again. Huh. Was … the AI actually smart? My Yanma was thrown out so I used Supersonic before fainting and going back to Shuckle again. Aaaaand Roared out immediately. Yep, the AI was actually smart. They wrote code specifically for shutting down Rollout. That’s pretty cool. But also kind of problematic, for me.
A Sludge Bomb from my spider nearly killed Houndoom, but sadly, a Full Restore removed all progress. I was tossed around a while with Roar, losing pokes and chipping away with Rollout. Finally got the dog into kill range but my Quick Attacker was fainted, so I opted for speedy Ledian’s Ice Punch, which managed to do the job. It was quite messy, but finally took Houndoom out.
I still had three to go, though, and my team was pretty worn down. Gengar out next, but fortunately Heracross’ Earthquake took it out. For Vileplume, I had Ledian’s Ice Punch. I ended up paralyzed and pretty worn down with Acid (and from Houndoom) but managed to finish the job!
Finally, there was Murkrow. Oh, shit. I thought I was screwed but I still had Forretress, thankfully. Heck, it only took a few Strengths, didn’t even need to explode.
After defeating Karen, she gives a really nice quote;
“Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites. I like your style. You understand what’s important. Go on– the Champion is waiting.”
I like this gal. She gets me.
This is a repost on a new blog. The original post was on Mar 31, 2017.

The True Mechanism of Caato’s Stand, 「Space Trucking」
The newest chapter of JoJolion (107) has been released and we can finally see the full capability of Caato’s Stand, which its name has recently been revealed as 「Space Trucking」, following the naming tradition of Higashikata family’s Stands, whose name contains the word "KING" (including Mitsuba who joined the family through marriage and ignoring Caato’s status as a disowned member).
Tumblr media
JJL chapter 107: Kaato Higashikata's "Attack"
Caato and Jobin’s Stands, 「Space Trucking」 and 「Speed King」 are actually Deep Purple’s songs, this may signify how close they are in the family.
Post chapter 107, some of my words from my previous post regarding the mechanism of 「Space Trucking」 may sound outdated, however broadly speaking, it is still relevant with the explanation of 「Space Trucking」’s feats.
The new feat of 「Space Trucking」 shows that it is able to hide certain parts of body (which belong to a living being):
Tumblr media
The name of Caato’s Stand did have the word “space”, she also said that it can hide things in a “space” between a card and another card. The concept of “space” was also a major thing in the mechanism of 「D4C」, the Stand of the main villain in the previous part. No wonder many readers love to compare them or even powerscale her Stand with D4C.
BUT powerscaling 「Space Trucking」 with 「D4C」 is the big mistake of those readers (particularly Caatofags) had ever done, just because they share the concept of manipulating “space” doesn’t mean that they will share the same mechanism, functionality or even ability.
Thus, I still don't think that 「Space Trucking」 will be as powerful/hax as 「D4C」 and I also still think that 「Space Trucking」's ability is more similar to 「Enigma」.
Tumblr media
The keyword here is: HIDE, not “space”. 「Space Trucking」 works by hiding various objects into her cards.
With what she did to Tooru, she is not harming him (otherwise 「Wonder of U」 would have already triggered), she just disabled him. By hiding his certain body parts, she hindered Tooru's ability to move his limbs… that’s what the “space” between her cards does.
Here is the compilation of 「Space Trucking」’s concealing ability:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
See? She really said that she hid the chair
Tumblr media
It is always about “concealing” and “hiding” and「Space Trucking」’s new feat also shows that it is capable to do that with animate objects/living being as well, be it partially (with Tooru) or fully:
Tumblr media
There was those silly speculation when Caato was hiding Kei inside her cards, I laughed at this idea but it turns out that her Stand is actually capable to do that… however, my disagreement of that is not about her Stand feat, it’s more about the plot progression and I’m glad that Araki didn't make that happen.
Lastly, I’m gonna told you to stop comparing it with 「D4C」!!! Sure it shares “space” as its concept but what Valentine did with the “space” is very different from what Caato does.
「D4C」’s using “space” to send the object (or himself) to another dimension… an AU!World in which said object (excluding himself) would face deadly consequence if it meets its alternative version belong to that world whereas 「Space Trucking」’s using “space” only to hide said object.
Both only shares their mechanism by forcing them between two objects.
「Enigma」 also hides the target object into the fold of paper, there is definitely "space" inside the fold of paper and it doesn’t need to be told in front of your face.
The Stand’s ability works in JJBA is not the same as any superpower in other anime (for example: Devil Fruits in One Piece), it does not use theme to separate each abilities, it uses mechanism and function.
When did Caato hide Tsurugi?
Let’s reread the previous chapter of 106, we have the scene when the roof collapsed after being hit by a plane’s panel.
On page 11 according to the mangafreak.net site, Tsurugi was still carried by Mitsuba, they were near the garage at that time.
Then on the last page (35), we saw Caato in the garage of Higashikata's house.
Tumblr media
The two scenes are 24 pages away and inside those 24 pages, Tooru was already injured, Yasuho was communicating with Josuke, there was enough time when Tooru and Yasuho were struggling for Caato to interact with Mitsuba and take Tsurugi off-screen.
When and how did Caato get her Stand?
We don't really know, there is no specific information about it. However, I am certain that Caato obtained her 「Space Trucking」 ‘after’ the murder incident against Boyscott Bully was over.
As she is able to hide Tsurugi in her cards, then she should be able to hide the body of Boyscott Bully as well if she already had her Stand!
You might argue that Caato had not developed that ability yet at the time, however, if she was already a Stand user, there should be an attempt she made to use it in that incident.
The murder happened 20 years ago and her arrest happened 15 years ago. I'm also not sure that 15 years ago Caato already had her Stand, for if she already had it, there should be an attempt on her to cover up the murder better before the police went after her.
Tumblr media
JJL chapter 64: Mother and Child
Then when did she obtain it? I think sometimes around when she was in prison.
Wall Eyes’ plothole
In JJL, it has been established that people who live near Wall Eyes can get a Stand. By that logic, Caato should have been able to get her Stand since she lived in Higashikata's house, which is close to Wall Eyes during her married life with her family. I believe that the family became Stand users because of that, not because the crap of one being a secret rock-human.
However, this becomes an error in Caato’s part as she never demonstrated her Stand during the murder incident. The argument that her ability will be useless at the time is also false, due to the fact that 「Space Trucking」's ability to hide thing was surely handy to cover up the murder!
Or perhaps, if we refer to my post about Wall Eyes, Caato was only late to awaken her Stand like Joshu and Yasuho.
「Space Trucking」’s ability so far:
Capable to hide inanimate and animate object between two cards, both fully or partially.
For animate object, it is able to disable the target’s movement by hiding some of their body parts.
It has its own humanoid form, but what we’ve seen in this latest chapter so far, its demonstration to hide object is still limited to Caato’s playing cards.
Caato’s Stand and its mechanism so far (Jojolion)
Caato’s Stand, which until now has not been named yet, often becomes the object of hype in its ability and discussion in its name. I’m also interested to discuss both, but maybe I will focus more on its ability.
As her character is heavily a reference of French playing cards, Caato uses her playing cards as medium for her Stand ability.
Tumblr media
Caato can store objects between her cards, making them appear or disappear like a magic trick. The first object we saw when she demonstrated her Stand for the first time was a cellphone. The phone is smaller in width and length, making the cards able to fully conceal it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The second time we saw her Stand, she tricked Joshu to tidy up her cards, indirectly hurting him by the impact of the chair she stored into her cards when he took the cards that were stacked. With this second demonstration, we can sort the mechanism of her Stand:
She can store objects between her cards, making them appear or disappear like a magic trick
Anyone can release the objects that were stored inside her cards
She can store the objects with size much larger than her cards
Another interesting thing here is that the chair came out of two separate cards, it makes me wonder of the possibility that she could separate parts of an object and release them separately. There are also two things that I see as another mechanism of her Stand, though it’s still hypothetically speaking as the scenes were just mainly implication:
Tumblr media
How she hid the chair between her cards? Did she slam the chair between her cards? If so, why no one noticed her while doing it (taking out two decks of her cards and putting the chair between them)? Two people might not had noticed that moment: Daiya (due to poor eyesight) and Joshu (being too distracted), why did none of the rest of the family notice that? Which led to two assumptions:
Caato does not need to take out (use) the cards to hide objects, she simply needs to will it
She does need to take out the cards, it’s just the family being too oblivious to notice that
Or some of them might actually noticed that but kept silent because Joshu definitely deserved that (LOL), the scene was focused on him afterall. Anyway, I’m more into the later, this reunion scene with her is not to be taken too seriously (in gauging the actual power as it is not a serious Stand battle).
In addition, a crucial thing that is easily overlooked in Caato’s words: “there certainly are a lot of chairs in this house, so you wouldn’t notice if I hid one between my cards, would you?”
Considering the hype from her supporters who frequently compare her Stand with D4C because their “dimensional-based” ability and “caught-in-between” mechanism?
「D4C」 has access to different parallel worlds/dimensions, it can also pull other people or items to other dimensions.
But in the case of Caato’s Stand and her words: she took out a chair from her cards, a chair that belongs to Higashikata’s house, which is in the same world as her and the family. In other words, Caato’s Stand does not cross between dimensions in its mechanism, therefore the hype that her Stand has the same ability and power as the 「D4C」 has not been proven!
Tumblr media
Notice how the warden took Caato’s cards, the decks were slightly open but nothing came out from them, but a few panels afterwards we see Caato took out her cellphone from the cards. Why didn’t the warden accidentally brought out the phone? It’s either:
Only Stand users (like Joshu) who can release the objects stored there besides the user (Caato)
Caato can control the timing of the stored objects to be released (and anyone who can release it)
I’ll pick the later too. However, there is also the possibility of luck as the decks, that were slightly open, were not storing her phone atm.

From A Hobby To An Industry: The Evolution Of Video Games
By Brian Uhler, University of Chicago Class of 2021
July 21, 2020
Tumblr media
Within the last few decades, technological advancements and a dedicated community have led to the rapid development of a new, exciting industry: video gaming. Initially a very small scene with little worldwide recognition, video gaming has only recently vaulted onto the main stage. The parents of today’s children certainly did not have the exposure to video games that their children do today; this industry has risen to international prominence seemingly overnight within a generation. But how did this happen? How did a few new computer chips and some hardcore video game players turn a simple hobby into an industry now worth billions of dollars?
Interestingly enough, video games actually find their true origin in the labs of scientists. One of the earliest games, Spacewar!, a simple computer game about space combat, was invented by Steve Russell at MIT in 1962. It was not until 1972 that an actual home console was developed – a console whose sole purpose was for video games, rather than games merely being programs to be installed on a computer. This first console, “The Odyssey”, was developed at Sanders Associates, Inc, (3) led by Ralph Baer. Baer is often thought of as the father of video games, but although he was the first, he was far from the last. In 1977, Atari released their own console, the Atari 2600, which proved to be the first real competition to The Odyssey. However, the video game industry had a substantial decline in 1983 due to a multitude of factors, including an oversaturated game market and a lot of over-hyped, low-quality games. The video game industry began to recover in 1985 with the release of Nintendo’s NES system, which had improved graphics and gameplay. This was Nintendo’s first big splash in the gaming industry (it had previously been a playing card manufacturer), and many of its early titles such as Super Mario Bros. still survive today.(3) Fast forward to the 21st century and we see Microsoft and Sony enter the fray, with the former releasing the Xbox console and the latter releasing the Playstation console. These three companies have mostly dominated the home console gaming industry, and they constantly compete for the ever-growing video game fanbase.
But advances in video game technology alone did not create an industry – to do that, a small but determined group of hardcore gamers was needed. Along with the technological advancements was the advancement of its followers, and most notably, its competitors. This industry is not unlike a sport; in fact, video game competitions are referred to as eSports (electronic sports). The first every eSports event happened in 1972 when people competed in Spacewar!, one of the first video games ever created. As the competitive gaming scene progressed, it became clear that the competitive drive of these players was similar, if not identical, to that of professional athletes; many people find a home in the gaming industry, and all players compete under their personal alias called a “gamertag.”The evolution of this competition was able to come to the forefront of the world stage with the rise of the Internet, allowing players to play across the world. (4) When it became clear that the video game industry was ripe to become something more than just a hobby, companies began to take notice. Twitch is a website used by gamers to stream footage of themselves playing to viewers across the world. (1) In 2014, Amazon bought Twitch for $970 million, an obviously enormous sum of money. Clearly, Amazon thinks that investing in the video game industry is a smart move in the long term. Furthermore, video gaming does make a lot of money; League of Legends, an extremely popular multiplayer game, generated $1.5 billion in revenue in 2019 alone, to say nothing of the countless other popular video games on the market.
As the market for competing and streaming video games evolves, there is no more notable video game player than Tyler Blevins, better known by his gamertag, “Ninja.” Ninja, famous for streaming the multiplayer game “Fortnite”, makes nearly $1 million per month through his gaming. (5) He makes this money in a variety of ways – through streaming on Twitch, through posting video content to Youtube, and debatably most importantly, through big-name sponsors like Redbull and Samsung. The reason that sponsorships like this are potentially the most important source of Ninja’s income is that it proves that there is a rising commercial value in the video gaming industry; if in 1980 you asked a company the size of Redbull if they would ever consider investing in video games, you would get a much different answer than you would get today. As well as large, international corporations that have invested in eSports, some companies are being created with the sole purpose of supporting video gaming. These eSports companies sponsor notable players and assemble teams for competition, much like professional sports teams. For example, Ninja is partnered with Luminosity Gaming.
However, much like professional athletes, video gaming is not without its risks. Injuries are actually fairly common, especially to the hands and wrists. Super Smash Bros. Melee, a Nintendo fighting game created in 2001, is widely regarded as one of the most technical and difficult video games ever created. In 2014, Aziz “Hax” Al-Yami suffered a crippling hand injury due to his beloved game. (10) He said that while practicing he felt an “explosion” in his wrist, and when he went to a doctor to check it out, he found out that much of the cartilage in his thumb had calcified into bone due to years of physical stress from the game. Plus, Hax’s story is not just one anomaly; many top professionals have also experienced injuries that have caused them to need an extended break from the game or to retire altogether. Super Smash Bros. Melee is especially notorious for hand injuries; players routinely press more than six buttons per second, with each game lasting around 3 minutes. (8) Tournament matches are typically a first-to-three set, meaning that they play anywhere between three and five games each match. If they play an average set, say, four games, then they will have played the game for 12 minutes, which is 720 seconds and thus an average of 4,320 buttons in a single tournament match. A typical major tournament will have nearly 2,000 entrants, and in such tournaments, the top players have to play more than a dozen sets over the course of the tournament. For example, Adam “Armada” Lindgren, the winner of the 2015 tournament “Genesis 3”, played 13 total sets in his path to victory. (9) This means he likely pressed over 50,000 buttons to win the tournament, a number that is at the very least startling. So, with video games on the rise and corporations starting to funnel money into the scene, what can be done about possible injuries to the players?
It is common for professional sports teams to have a physical therapist travel with them to their competitions. Is it such a wild idea to think that the same strategy may be a viable option for video game players? As it turns out, this idea is not as strange as it may initially sound. A company called “1-hp” does exactly this. The name itself, “1-hp” is a video game reference; “hp” refers to health points, while “1” is the lowest possible amount of health points a player can have in a video game before their character dies. Run by two physical therapists, 1-hp specializes in managing and preventing injuries to video game players. The idea behind this is much like it would be for a professional sports team; these eSports organizations essentially invest in players, and therefore, they want to make sure their players are healthy. In terms of business, a player getting injured and being unable to recover could result in the loss of a competition, the loss of the player’s career, and a substantial loss of money. Imagine your favorite NFL team is about to play in the Superbowl, but the starting quarterback’s ankle hurts. That player’s injury could affect the outcome of the game, the money made from the game, and probably the player’s career. So, teams are willing to pay for top-notch treatment for their players to keep them as healthy as possible. Thus, like professional sports teams, video game organizations also want to keep their players in the best shape possible.
From its humble beginnings to its international recognition, the evolution of the video gaming industry is certainly a rapid and impressive one. With corporations stepping in to support the scene and medical professionals doing their best to ensure the health of the competitors, the video game industry is going nowhere but forward in the years to come.

i just finished Horizon: Zero Dawn, which holy dicks, might have been my game of the year if persona 5 hadn’t also come out this year. spoiler-heavy impressions (in the form of chatlogs with zero) under the cut:
god damn this game is just fun to play all the sneaking around and shooting stuff is really satisfying, and it feels great encountering some new machine that you don't know how to handle, and figuring out how to deal with it the balance is just right- strong machines can fuck you up, but nothing's a one-hit kill- if you fuck up, you get to chug health potions and run like hell until it loses interest, and then you try again it welcomes and rewards experimentation you organically develop strategies for taking them on stuff that seems intimidating and impossibly hard at first eventually becomes easy- not because you leveled up and got stronger numbers than it, but because you've done this before, you know how to dispatch these things in a matter of moments the giant crocodiles- scary, but you can knock off two thirds of their health by igniting their blaze canisters, and then play keepaway with their easily dodged ice blasts while you chip off the rest with easy headshots the swarms of hawks- overwhelming at first, but they completely flip out if you shoot two fire arrows at them, and you can keep them all downed while you work on taking them out the giant charging desert bulls- a couple ice bombs from the sling more or less immobilize them and make them take massive damage you always start terrified, trying different ammo on different weak points until you find something that works and then you feel like an invincible badass despite not really being any stronger in absolute terms
Zerovirus: that's the good shit
Benedict: it reminds me of the witness, in that you progress and gain abilities by learning systems and getting good, rather than by getting abstract experience points and leveling up i mean, you do level up, but it's just more health mostly
Zerovirus: health, more inventory, better harvesting abilities is what i think it was? and some jump ambush skills
Benedict: it's health and skill points the skills are pretty cool- none of them feel mandatory, but they all make something slightly easier like one gives you a few seconds of bullet time to line up a shot- it doesn't let you do anything you couldn't before, but now you're more likely to succeed and then there's the stealth melee takedowns that i barely use because everything in the fucking game notices you if you get too close no matter how quiet you're being for the same reason, i haven't used overriding since the game made me for a quest early on my advantage is in staying far away and hidden and able to disengage at will getting in close is always such a bad idea
Zerovirus: on the other hand, i'm pretty sure eventually you can override t-rexes and just watch kaijus fight
Benedict: oh yeah the cauldrons the first time i encountered one of those was incredible like, okay, here's a post-apocalyptic wilderness, but OH GOD TETRAHEDRON SPACESHIP ZONE
Zerovirus: were they disorienting for you as a player?i kept getting lost watching the lper navigate them they were really damn cool though what a great total environment change
Benedict: no not really so far they're pretty linear anyway they'd be cooler if the reward for completing them wasn't "now you can do that thing you never do to more things"
Zerovirus: just do the one that lets you do that thing to t-rexes it's entirely viable to go for an override playstyle with sufficient bolas and big boss monsters to hax i mean, you have the bolas, right the.. i mean, the ropecaster the thing-what-lets-you-tie-robots-down-and-make-them-easy-killings
Benedict: oh, right i uh haven't used that either like at all, i haven't tried it yet
Zerovirus: dude try out the ropecaster the ropecaster is what makes override viable as a playstyle it's basically 'shoot it three times in any part of its body to totally immobilize it for a few seconds' (bigger ones might need more than three i think)
Benedict: honestly i haven't thought about it much since my other weapons are so cool, but huh i think the reason i didn't try was because it seemed too good to be true "yeah, this thing you just shoot and it stops the enemy"
Zerovirus: no dude the ropecaster is easily the coolest weapon really locking down enemies is super effective well, that and setting up wire traps and just letting your enemies walk right into them that one never gets old either
Benedict: i use the tripcaster... probably not as intended
Zerovirus: ==>?
Benedict: like you're supposed to put it in an enemy's patrol path so they walk into it but the problem with that is they're usually around other enemies and if you go in to capitalize, you'll get ganged up on
Zerovirus: what the lper i watched did was set up like eight traps in a ring around himself and then make lots of sound and just watch the mobs walk into his death circle it was, frankly, really amusing
Benedict: i tried that once- it failed because i tried it on sawtooths, who, uh they jump. over. the wires. and kill you. oh my favorite enemy to fight right now is ravagers they're huge and scary, but it's so easy to kill them one tearblast arrow to the exposed gun pick up gun fucking annihilate everything in sight there's only a few things that really bug me about this game so far one is that the voice actors are way better than the writers, and it feels so weird hearing good voice actors try to breathe life into really fucking tedious dialogue there's been maybe two characters with more than one personality trait
Zerovirus: the plot of this game isn't super deep or anything don't worry about it too much it's very hollywood robot apocalypse scifi
Benedict: yeah, i'm not- i'm here for the cool robot hunting the game does some pretty ham-fisted stuff to explain why the player is the only one who can do a quest 90% of the time it's "this area is taboo, and everyone but you is too superstitious for some reason" also: the inventory screen is bugged out wrt the little exclamation points to indicate you have new shit i can't discern a pattern, they just seem to be placed at random
SEVERAL DAYS LATER
Benedict: so zero you told me not to worry about the writing, the plot isn't super deep or anything but holy fucking shit almighty horizon zero dawn got so damn cool i think my gripes with the writing early on were a product of how the nora suck they're an offensive native american caricature, a bunch of nature-worshipping tribal dimwits with more superstitions than brain cells as soon as the writers stopped writing the nora, the writing improved immensely and i'm pretty much almost done with the plot at this point i reached zero dawn and went and heard gaia's message in all-mother mountain and holy fuck this plot got so cool i honestly wasn't expecting explanations for stuff the beginning of the game got me thinking they'd be more interested in treating the whole sci-fi backstory as a mythology for the world like yeah cauldrons make machines, they're like, some fuckin factory whatsit the Mysterious Ancients made instead of what i got, which was several extended sequences of crawling around in ancient ruins and getting a meticulously thought-through backstory through audio logs and stuff my jaw was hanging open for like the whole zero dawn facility section "no, they didn't stop the robot apocalypse halfway- they let it play out until the robots ran out of biomass to eat and reduced the earth to a lifeless hunk of rock, and then deployed a friendly AI to re-seed it with biological life" holy shit incidentally: holy FUCK was the Hades subsystem a phenomenally shitty idea hey gaia try this: if you fuck up, reset things yourself!! you don't need an autonomous ABSOLUTE DEATH GOD that fucking takes over your systems and fights you for control!! it was just such a terrible plan that it breaks my suspension of disbelief a little with all the audio logs in the zero dawn facility with candidates second-guessing and questioning the entire project, no one thought to bring up "hey, maybe the WIPE OUT ALL LIFE AGAIN adversarial subsystem we're building carries a few inherent risks" the conflict here kinda seems like a diabolus ex machina, honestly they could have easily just had Hades be an accidentally reactivated Horus unit- the Faro robots kind of already have a wipe-out-all-life directive that would make perfect sense technobabble your way into saying the Faro plague hacked Gaia somehow, and boom but fucking Hades the whole conflict driving the plot is the equivalent of the supervillain who builds a big red self-destruct button on his machine that aside, this game's plot has turned out to be really fucking cool i came close to tears a few times in the zero dawn facility humanity's best and brightest having various visceral reactions to the shock and despair of the project's nature god damn was that one of the coolest reveals i've ever had in a video game i'm really pleasantly surprised by how much detail it gave me- it really made "find out what the fuck is the deal" the player's central motivation i think the nora shit in the beginning got me expecting that their worldview would be more or less validated by the narrative but now i come back to the starting area to save all their asses, and it becomes abundantly clear that these people are small and backwards and the world is so much bigger than them likewise the moment where fuckin whatshisname dadmurderer captures you and puts you in the sun-ring right on the heels of all the huge plot reveals he's standing there monologuing about prophecy and the sun and how important he is and following what i'd just gone through, it was so, so pathetic to watch this half-naked thug go on and on about how this, this moment of knocking me out and capturing me for some gladiatorial shit, was the most important moment in the world and i'm just sitting there shaking my head at him like, dude, you ain't shit. you ain't even in the vicinity of shit.oh, you've got a corrupted behemoth for me to fight, totally unarmed? don't make me fucking laugh, i eat that shit for breakfast (sorta took the wind out of sylens' rescue at the end when whathisface sicced two corruptors on me) (like dude i had this. two corruptors is god damn child's play.) i'm so fucking overpowered right now, i've completed every single sidequest save the armor one, where i still need the core from the last area oh, corrupted thunderjaw pinning down the entire nora tribe? Y-fucking-AWN ice bombs plus actual bombs, dead in two minutes not that the combat has become boring- attacks still hurt, i have to dodge and get the fuck out of the way and heal off hits that take off more than half my bar, it's really tense- but i can always heal, can always dodge, there's a great rhythm to attacking and dodging and attacking and dodging
