experience in RP — Been at it for ages on & off casually, really got into RP around 2016 or so when I tried out tumblr blogs as a format and really liked how it helped me organize things and space out my replies (even if sometimes I have the instinct to respond right away to some threads haha)

best experiences — Plenty. Lately I've had some great toku-inspired storylines with @5mind, and I always look back on threads I have with pals like @viopolis, @saizansha, @damnlamb, @outofthiisworld and everybody!

pet peeves/dealbreakers — More than once I've found myself held to rules that don't also apply to the person setting them, not a fan of that. Nor when I'm giving attention to their characters/world/lore but not really receiving the same regard, especially if we communicated OOC about it already or emphasized details get glossed over in threads.

muse preference ( fluff, angst, smut ) — I like variety and balance. Slice of life that can include fluff/angst/crack, but also just mundane ennui and more evenly paced humor. Action/adventure/mystery/situation comedy and stuff-- whether small or large scale helps diffuse a bit.

plot or memes — I try to reblog memes still as first interaction ice breakers, or even something to help get the ideas flowing with folks I already know. Plotting remains the best way to try and hash out specifics though!

long or short replies — Whatever gets the intent and feeling across at the time, as much or as little as that may be. I'm more interested these days in what folks have to say and how they say it than how "productive" they are.

best time to write — I try to belt out a response of some kind whenever I can, preferably sooner rather than later but this varies. Helps if available free time intersects with a surge of motivation/inspiration but sometimes you just gotta get something out there at all, even if conditions aren't optimal and the solar system's planetary bodies haven't converged yet. Not to say prioritize RP as #1, just don't be hard on yourself if things aren't perfect, y'know? It's a hobby.

are you like your muse?: In some ways, though I think over time my characters-- the ones I RP or write in original stories, have become exaggerations of traits, whether existing qualities of my own or not. Qualities I like/dislike, want to reconcile with, or aspire towards. Their experiences are larger than life but can still serve as metaphors for commonplace things we all deal with.

PREFERENCE  OF  COMMUNICATION: Discord. While I can use the Tumblr IM and use them as icebreakers, I have gotten more used to using Discord nowadays as it is far more reliable.

NAME  OF  MUSE(S): My primary muses are Jinx, Silco and Vi. My secondary muses are Naafiri, Sevika, Vander/Warwick and Kindred. When it comes to my secondary muses, they are not all equal and sometimes one goes more silent while the other one is far more awake. I tend to go where my muses lead me when it comes to replies.

EXPERIENCE  /  HOW  LONG  (  MONTHS  /  YEARS? ): I started rping around the time I finished my A-levels aka my school graduation. That is nine years now. I started on Facebook and forums during these three years when I was in the advanced levels of high school. However, I quickly moved over to Tumblr. I think that was either already in 2014 or at the very least 2015. Though, if we wanna go by writing alone, I have been telling stories since I was six. That means over twenty years worth of writing by now.

BEST  EXPERIENCE: God, this is a hard question. I had many experiences in so many different rp communities. Not all of them were pleasant. However, I believe what I would deem my best experience, is the fact that through rp, outside of meeting amazing rp partners, I also made some very close friends. Some of these people, I have known for years, and they helped me through strife and tribulations. I cannot thank them enough for being the awesome human beings they are. At the same time, I am just so happy with how rpers give me a chance and how they have helped me so much with my ability to world build and finally embrace my own creativity. It may be an ongoing struggle, I still sometimes have, but I know I have people here who adore my ideas and my style and for that I cannot thank them enough.

RP  PET  PEEVES  /  DEALBREAKERS: I think the only real dealbreakers I have are things like blatantly expressed homophobia/racism, etc. Basically, people being dicks. Though that isn't really a surprise and not really RP-related. I think, in that regard, something I really despise is when people try to tell you how to write your blog, your muses, what you curate on your dash. I am not a big fan of one-liners either and normally, prefer multi-para replies. At the same time, if you can give me something to work with and the passion is there, I can also do shorter stuff. I also do not like it if communication does not happen, even though I know I too have to work on that sometimes. RPing is a two-way street and many of my pet peeves relate to that street being disrupted.

MUSE  PREFERENCES  FLUFF,   ANGST  OR  SMUT: I tend to say that I am predominantly a horror writer. Both due to my themes, my choice of characters and my writing style. Because of this, I absolutely love angst, whether that be heavily emotionally taxing angst or gory and violent angst. However, I am not opposed to fluff either, though I prefer if it is coming out of angst. I think that is called hurt/comfort. Smut is something, that while I do enjoy writing it sometimes, is not my biggest strong suit. I can normally only do certain types of smut and even then only with people I trust deeply and where my muses really have chemistry.

PLOTS  OR  MEMES: While I love using memes as an ice breaker just to gauge how our muses would interact with one another and whether our writing style mashes, I am more of a plotting kind of person. I still have to practise this craft a bit more. However, I prefer to have at least an idea of the dynamic we attempt to build with our muses and I always enjoy discussing potential scenes and plots we can do with that dynamic. If we manage to do the proper groundwork, most plots write themselves.

LONG  OR  SHORT  REPLIES: I prefer long threads and replies. I thrive on multi-para to novella roleplays. Threads, which are filled with details and characterisation. I love it when I can really sink my teeth into what has been written and when the reply challenges me to bring forth my A-game. Longer threads keep my passion going and usually make dropping things harder.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: I normally write in the early morning hours or afternoon. I do not think there is a best time to write. I am trying to learn to be able to write at pretty much any time. However, I also always check what I am in the mood for. Or I plan to try to finish specific replies. It does not always work.

ARE  YOU  LIKE  YOUR  MUSE(S): From my primary muses, the one I relate to the most and the one who is the loudest and easiest to write for me, is without a doubt, Jinx. While I may not have psychosis or the tendency to commit acts of murder, when it comes to Jinx's personality like her creativity, her wrathfulness and her tendency to overthink, those are elements, with which I deeply connect. By now I have written Jinx and built her and the world she inhabits in a way, which makes her both similar and different to the version of Arcane. This version of Jinx is very dear to me and in my eyes indeed shares some of my qualities.

I'm also really interested in chatting with my mutuals ooc as well! I know this isn't everyone's favorite, but for me I find it easier to write with people I chat with on a regular basis. I'm generally very shy, but I value this so much I am 100% willing to reach out and be the outgoing one if you're shy or don't know how. You can literally just IM me like "Hi I want to talk but I'm shy!" and I will be like -cracks knuckles- "I GOT THIS."

A note about memes and inbox spam: When I say I welcome inbox spam, I freaking mean it. You can literally send me every prompt on a meme and I will not bat an eye. You can continue sending me memes even if you owe me things or I already owe you things - if the ask box is open and you want to send a thing, do it. As long as you've read "EXTREMELY IMPORTANT PSA" in the section above and are okay with me responding to things in random order or it taking me a while to get to everything, I generally encourage and even dare you to send whatever you feel like sending. To be honest if we’re just starting out I genuinely prefer receiving multiple memes. If you only send one and I don’t get a muse for it right away I’ll feel really bad and get angsty. 😭 So please do not hesitate to send lots and lots of memes!

Shipping Stuff:

The mun of this blog is shipping trash. I'm not only here for ships, but I'm not going to lie, I'm like... 75% here for ships. It's my RP experience and I make no apologies.

Ships are chemistry based and must be discussed beforehand. I will never force a ship or assume you're interested in one even if A ) our muses are together canonically or B ) I have our muses listed as a fave ship. Please don't assume or force a ship on me, either.

There's a "shipping info" section on each of my muse's bio pages in my card listing some of my favorite ships and any ship restrictions for them. I'm firm on my restrictions, but I'm open to exploring additional ships even if they're not listed in my favorites if you've got one you'd like to pitch!

As a general rule of thumb, my muses are portrayed as demisexual and demiromantic. I'm pretty openminded with my ships. I enjoy some toxic dynamics, I'm pretty lenient on age gaps as long as both muses are 18+... I'll add more to this as I think of them but yeah. If you're shy about pitching a ship, feel free to send in an anon ask to see how I'd feel about it.

NSFW memes are open exclusively to people I already ship with. Don't send me spicy stuff unless we've agreed to explore a ship beforehand.

This blog is multi-ship. I don't and will never do exclusives (please don't ask.) I'm more than open to writing the same ship with multiple people so if you see me RPing a ship you'd like to explore already, don't let that stop you from reaching out.

I LOVE AUs and playing in each other's verses. I love intertwined muses. If you like one of the threads or verses you see me writing with someone else and you think your muse would be interested in playing / adding to that dynamic, PLEASE DO IT I WOULD LOVE IT. I'm interested in exploring multi (2+) player verses/threads as well! I love canon-divergent "What If" scenarios and building entire AUs from the ground up as well as dabbling in each others' pre-existing verses.

MOST ACTIVE MUSE(S)? It really depends on my mood of the day, and I tend to just be able to jump from one to another unless one is being a bit difficult. That's why I have a multimuse blog.

RP PET PEEVES? This is happening on my sideblogs, but when it's clear someone doesn't read the rules. Yes, they're canon, but at the bottom of the rules post is that it's a private blog set up for mutuals of my main. Do people go check out my main? no, they just follow the sideblog because of some favoritism for canons over OCs or something. Another is accessibility issues because I have astigmatisms so no I can't read your thin dark gray font on your black background, mate. I won't even bother following at that point.

EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS? Probably about...18-19 years? started out on ava.tarfans.net as a teen and have been rping on and off since then.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT? I'm generally good with a lot but I do like platonic and familial interactions. Smut is really a come and go sort of thing for me because sometimes I can find it boring and other times, it's something I like. I think it really relies on the emotional build up in the smut for me, otherwise it's..eh.

PLOTS OR MEMES I like memes for ice breakers or if my ideas are kind of running dry. Plotted stuff is great or just the little "you know what we should do?" kind of things we throw out there too.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES? I like to write descriptions so you're going to get at least a paragraph. I can never get my flow on short little one to three line replies. Those don't give me enough character introspection.

TIME TO WRITE? We'll find out, my schedule is kind of getting changed up. But usually I write in the evenings, but I can pull stuff out during the day/in the morning if I want to. Just depends on when I have time.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) I like to put little bits of myself into each character, honestly. So there's parts I'm like, parts I'm not like. But I will say that Talilah and Gwenifar are a pretty good split on two sides of me, and then crafted into their own characters.
