I am thinking about some of my muses:

I think about azzy a lot, and the fact that he has so much potential, and how unlucky it was that col was the one who saw it first. it's unfortunate, too, that azzy is so loyal to him now.

keith really is my quintessential terrifying werewolf. he is the one who can't control it and never will. he's the monster, the beast, the wolf who is so, so angry and frightened and dangerous. he doesn't love the things other werewolves might love. he hates the night, he hates the cycles of the moon. his changes are painful and leave him sore and tired and hungry each and every time.

eden collects a lot of things that some might find odd: carnivorous plants, taxidermy (rogue and normal), bones and other vulture-culture related things. their house is filled with this collection. their fox familiar, quasar, enjoys pretending to be these pieces of taxidermy, sometimes, only to frighten an unsuspecting guest by moving or blinking (or winking if he wants to be really terrible).

latona comes off as rather calm and self-assured, in a way that makes her intimidating in some ways. she's perfectly aware of her own power and her own emotions, and can easily use one specifically, while shoving the other way. they never effect each other unless she wants them too.

eden has three familiars, all, in their words ‘made out of a scoop of shadow and a pinch of sunlight.’ that is, at least, partially true. they all also have a bit... extra that makes them what they are. bones, pelts, or feathers that went into their creation. each and every one has black feathers, fur, or scale that are incredibly dark. and their warm tones are bright, almost metallic, in color. they are, as follows:

quasar, a cross fox. the black of his fur is very dark, almost ink-like. the golden-red tones that highlight the rest of his fur are very bright, almost metallic.

orion, an eastern indigo snake. like quasar, the hue of his scales is very, very dark. void-like. the bronzy-orange that highlights his face is like copper.

and, finally, mars, a yellow-headed blackbird. like his partners, his black feathers are dark as pitch-black night. his yellow head is almost too bright to look at.

each one is capable of speech. their voices simply... exist. and can be picked up by recording devices, as the three of them are technically the daytime hosts of wqx.

         WQX 1440, operating in boston, massachusetts, u.s.a., is a fairly normal radio station during the day. it’s mostly music and a pair of masculine-sounding hosts who chit-chat about various current events in music. it winds down during the late evening and then seemingly turns off for the day at sundown, as a good portion of AM radio stations are oft to do.

         however, around 11 at night, it comes back on with a different host, named eden, this time one who is a little more feminine sounding. they are very in-tune with the going-on of supernaturals throughout the world, and even more in-tune with the movements of supernatural hunters. it’s unknown how eden gets their information, but it’s always solid.

         iovita has a big price on their head, but the mysterious host of WQX toes the line of most wanted by the hounds and their affiliates every day. it’s frustrating to the hunters, to say the least, because eden often gives heads-up to specific individuals, allowing them precious time to get somewhere safe.

         beyond tipping off hunted individuals, they also discuss the aforementioned current events of supernaturals around the world: werewolf packs, covens, things that made human news, etc. eden also always ends the night with a cryptic message to someone they’ve been searching for for many years, and then provides even more cryptic directions to coordinates that change weekly. no one yet has been able to figure out what is waiting at those coordinates, not even col’s hounds.

         if you’re in inter mundos during the hours that WQX is broadcasting, io most likely has it playing. it’s invaluable information for them. being in-range doesn’t mean anything to them (although WQX is allowed to broadcast at night and has an impressive range because of it), because they have a radio that can pick up the channel no matter where they’re at. that specific radio, modified by other witches, is one in high demand, but that’s a post for another day.
