          SILENTLY, HE OFFERS A PAPER-wrapped taco out to the other person, holding another half-eaten one in his other hand. shaking the still-wrapped one slightly, he mumbles, “ you want it? ” there’s probably a catch.

          AS IF SALEM HAS JUST said the first and only thing to break the hunter’s brain, azzy stares at them in silence, head tilted every so slightly to the left and eyes mere brown slits. squeezing them shut, he lifts his hand and rubs his nose. “ ok. ok. last thing I expected to hear today. actually - no. ” he drops his hand and steeples his fingers, tipping his head to look at the sky. “ that would imply I still expected it. I just… genuinely did not expect any word that came out of your mouth. ” azzy himself isn’t fairly tall. he’s average height, he would say. and salem isn’t exactly out of place around him. so it’s not like they need to worry about azzy licking their head… right?

          “ has this happened to you before? ” azzy finally blurts out. “ like… was that a past experience or something? ”
