asjkjskj OKAY so i just started writing and this is what i blurted out akjsdfnsd he is actually so dramatic i love it when he’s a little pathetic like let me love you u silly man. this became 500 words HAHA

Jean knows.

He’s an idiot but he knows he shouldn’t be jealous. In fact, he has no right to feel anything at all. He shouldn’t even be looking to be honest. And yet, he can’t help it. Not when his world slows to a stop, walls caving in, vision tunnelling to zero in on you every time you’re in the same room together.

His grip tightens on the dumbbells he’s holding, knuckles white, teeth clenched. The sound of his blood pumping roars in his ears, silencing the music blaring in his earphones. 

Why the fuck are you staring at him? 

There you are, sitting on a bench across the gym in your cute little workout outfit and instead of looking at Jean, your eyes are locked on his friend in front of you. Reiner’s deep in a squat, with at least three plates on each side like the miserable show off he is. You must be between sets, with your water bottle in hand, but your gaze is fixed on his form as he grunts out another rep.

Honestly, Jean can’t even blame you when Reiner’s out there throwing around weights like it’s nothing. If he was attracted to men, he would probably be checking him out, too.

Jean huffs in annoyance. He looks down at his arms and flexes his triceps. Sure, he may not be as beefy as Reiner, but he’s no slouch himself. Why is it that you never seem to notice?

Sometimes he’ll feel a glimmer of hope when you smile at him the way you do with that little twinkle in your eyes as if laughing at an inside joke only the two of you share; only to be shattered in a second when you turn that same look on someone else. There’s only so much more of this he can take before he feels like he’ll be about ready to burst. 

Jean knows he should just look away and focus on himself. But how can he when you’re right there, looking as perfect as ever despite being sweaty and messy from working out. Hell, it only makes him want you even more. He wishes it could be him making you sweat. You would never need to go to the gym with the way he knows he could work you out. If only he could just muster up the courage to tell you how he feels. All he wants is to just make you his. He swears he would do anything to give you everything. 

He’s burning holes into Reiner’s body with his eyes and the other man must be able to feel it because he halts, looking up into the mirror to make eye contact with Jean. Reiner double takes and racks his weights. Clearly confused, he slides his headphones off his ears and turns to face Jean with his eyebrows raised. The movement catches your attention and you stir from where you’re sitting on the bench across from him. 

Your eyes follow Reiner’s gaze to land on where Jean is standing, seething, still gripping the dumbbells like his life depends on it. And then, Jean’s heart stutters and the air leaves his lungs in a whoosh … because there it is. Your smile. You've got that smile lighting up your face and now all the tension is escaping his body, leaving him weak in the knees. What he wouldn’t give to have you look at him and only him that way. 

When you lift your hand up in a small wave, it's the nail in the coffin. That's it. He’s going to have to make you his now.

Being friends with Rin, hugging him as a form of greeting used to be quick yet warm. However, as time goes by, you noticed his hugs are becoming longer and tight as minutes go by (still warm though nonetheless), not to mention, during your hugs, he would rest his head between your neck and shoulder you could've sworn you heard him sniffing your perfume or whatever and he would sigh in relief afterwards.

"Hey (fem!reader)! Isagi is looking for you!"

Letting go from his embrace for a brief moment so you can go towards the voice, you replied: "Oh, okay! I'll be right over--!!" He unconsciously hugged your figure tighter and would elicit a displeased response when his time with you was disturbed.

My mind can't stop pondering about a jealous Rin throughout the day 😔

ooohhhhh he's def so jealous of the person he's finally allowed himself to be so comfortable with :(( ! he knows it's dumb and irrational, that you're friends with the whole team anyways and so he shouldn't be getting any special treatment. he knows he cannot bind you down. but he cannot help the way his cheeks warm up and a coil tightens in his chest, familiar frustration bubbling whenever you give him a small smile when you pull away to skip over to one of the guys :(

"what are you doing?" you let out a small laugh as he noses at the side of your neck, giving your waist a firm squeeze that makes your chest feel funny.

he shrugs a bit, as much as your arms wrapped around his neck allow him to, "y'smell good. is that some new perfume?"

he mumbles under his breath, the typical cool tone to his voice but there's something about him noticing the new scent that makes you feel so fuzzy :( you pull away slightly and his hold on you loosens as well. looking up, you give him a sheepish smile, "yeah, do you like it?"

you know rin for years now, having been around the team for a long time considering your field of work, but you've never seen the rin itoshi blush </3 (he does it a lot around you, no matter how hard he tries to fight it off. you're just in such a rush all the time, you miss out on seeing the flustered expression.) it suits him, looks so sweet on his aloof features and it makes your heart skip a bit.

"mm. it's sweet." he breathes, a hand moving to rub at the back of his neck, eyes scurrying away from your observant stare. "suits you well."

Emmy, they are all menaces! Akaashi is going THROUGH IT when it comes to available babysitters.Bokuto is a clumsy gigant, Konoha is a enabler that pimps out his kid and Yukie...well, she's mostly harmless when there's no tea party involved.

(There was an incident where baby Akaashi naively offered the cookie platter to Yukie thinking she'd do the same thing daddy does when hes invited to the tea parties, munch on it slowly, as a well-mannered noble. Instead, Yukie inhaled all the cookies like a starving angry dragon. It was a whole thing and baby Akaashi now refrains from inviting her for tea time)

The heavens finally open up for Akaashi Keiji when, after having to bring his baby along to work with him, they stop to have lunch at his favorite onigiri shop. And lo and behold, the Onigiri man himself is at the counter with a baby propped on his hip too (hello, baby tsumu is the #1 helper of Onigiri Miya. She gets her own employee of the month plaque and all.)

Anyway, baby Miya and baby Akaashi become friends really quickly during Keiji's lunch time, which is kind of a nice surprise to Osamu (look that girl's father is Atsumu, no way that Samu isn't gonna worry about his niece's socialization skills!). When its time to bid their goodbyes, both men feel their hearts breaking at the sight of teary eyed babies hugging each other, so Osamu asks Akaashi to let his baby stay for the rest of the day, this way the way the girls can enjoy each others conpany a little more. Osamu assures him, that since his brother had a emergency that required Osamu's last minute babysitting service, he's not really doing much work for that day anyway, just supervising staff & going over a few things in his office — where baby Miya has her own desk, with crayons, stickers, and books full of pictures to color, and she's excited to share with her new friend! And because this much better than what Keiji gets with his own babysitters back in Tokyo, he agrees.

At the end of the day, Akaashi stops by a closed onigiri miya to pick up his baby, and when Osamu leads him to the office in back of the shop, Keiji is greeted by the loveliest sight. On a small couch Osamu keeps in the corner of the office, the two girls ar4 fast asleep next to each other, sharing a blanket and holding hands, and Keiji notices how they have matching nail polish.

This is the most peaceful Keiji ever felt after a babysitting service, and he can't even begin to thank Osamu enough, but he will at least try to convey his gratitude. Is not untill he turns arounds to speak Osamu, that he fully takes in the state the man is in. There is glitter stickers glued all over his face, crooked attemps at braids poking out of his black baseball cap and... is that blue eyshadow under his left eyebrow?

You let a small pained gasp escape your lips as your back collided with the wall and a leather clad hand closed around your throat. Childe had you stuck in place and only able to stare into his dull blue eyes that were reflecting your own.

You were about to try and ask him what exactly he was doing and why he had dragged you into the alleyway in the first place, but before you could get any words out, you felt your boyfriend's hand tighten around your throat, cutting off whatever you were going to say.

“What’s wrong, dear? Is something the matter?”

“Childe I-” And just like that, you were cut off once again by his hand growing tighter around your throat.

“Come now my love, you can tell me. Now, what’s the matter?”

You couldn’t even begin to get the words out as the gloved hand around your throat pressed tighter, making your hands come up to grab at his wrist. Childe only stared as you struggled, a small smirk on his face as you attempted to get some kind of response out.

“Will you really not tell me what’s the matter, love?” He asked with a mocking pout painted on his face before leaning in to whisper in your ear.

“If you can’t use your mouth to speak, love, maybe there’s something else you could use it for.”

I wonder what Gojo’s emotional outlet is. Like, there’s no way he doesn’t have one we just don’t see it. I was watching this movie where this guy said he goes to his basement and screams and destroys shit for stress relief. It made me think maybe Gojo does something like that in a room at his estate and that’s why he can go back to the school all smiles and laughing. Then I felt sad.

I feel like he's definitely one to wallow and brood, and he'd never (under almost any circumstances) crack when he knows he's being watched. I think he'd be super careful with it, since he knows how he's perceived and he's aware that he's terrifying when he's angry/hurting.

i also like to think that satoru would be worried about scaring his loved ones away by showing this, so he bottles it up and handles his grief by himself </3

he absolutely shows love through acts of service. he's such a selfless person at heart and he would do anything for the people he cares about. wake up in the night and ur thirsty? he'll get up and get water. working late again? he'll wait up to pick you up bc he doesn't want u taking the train at night. when ur favourite jacket rips and ur upset bc it's not on sale anymore, he'll learn to sew and put it back together for you.

and i think jean loves words of affirmation. he would do all of this anyway, but hearing you tell him how much u appreciate and love him would make his heart so full. every time you tell him how lucky u are to have found him, he's glowing and kicking his feet the whole day. when he's feeling down, all he needs is you to hold him and tell him everything will work out.

rin's the one their little sister stays with all of the time, it's always been this way ever since sae first left so it's only natural he's grown so soft for you! he really fucking wishes he could shut that bratty mouth of yours sometimes, but he just cannot bring himself to do it. not when you get so teary eyed over the smallest touch, cling to him 24/7 even around his teammates. you're so good for him, his best girl :(

even when you brat around, give him the cold shoulder for spending too much time at practice and away from you, and dodge his kisses as some sort of fucked up punishment - all he wants to do is shower you with his love :( he knows where you're coming from - and how badly it affected you when sae came back a whole different person, not giving you his usual smiles and playful comments anymore :( how you felt like the whole world shattered. it's only fair he makes it up to you by being the best nii chan he can be <3

BUT, as soon as sae's back from madrid and notices the way you roll her eyes at rin..how you talk back.... it makes him stir akfhas EVEN if it's aimed at his brother!! he lets you keep up this act for a little while until it ricochets back at him - until he hears you grumble something under your breath, about how he didn't call or text you enough and that u wonder what else could be more important than his sister.

"what the hell are you two doing when i'm away?" it sounds so embarrassing as they have you on your knees, face and chest pushed into the mattress and ass high, reddened and aching with the impact of sae's hand - sure to leave bruises for the next few weeks :( "you let her talk to you like that? really, rin?"

there's an agitated sigh as he has to hold your hips in a frim grip when you come for what seems like a tenth time, squeezing his fingers so tight his knuckles ache. it's been, what - probably at least an hour and you already have enough - and you're already crying into the sheets, squirming around as if you haven't learnt anything from his scolding.

rin's many things, but not a liar - and so he doesn't even try to deny the way he's nearly coming untouched at the sight of you, so fucked out already :( he's just about to tell sae that hey, s'enough, until he reaches to grab at your face gently and you scurry away :( sniffling and choking back tears, earning a look of surprise from both of your brothers - especially sae, who watches in amusement as rin's eyes darken and hand twists into your hair, giving a rough tug forward.

"hand her over." he grunts to the elder, eyes trained on your face as you give him the most pathetic look - so stuck up, as if you had any reason for it. only now does he realise that fuck, you really are such a fucking tease - such a brat, and it's about time you learned that it's not how they're to be treated. This antlion (stereotypical of me)!! (I think it's a Four-spotted Antlion, Distoleon tetragrammicus, but not 100% sure! Never 100% sure.)

Oh. hmm. If head counts, definitely head, not only are they so super cool looking but also, imagine having a bee's eyes, seeing beyond our perceived colour spectrum MORE COLOURS YAY! Or a mantis head would be so cool, they can see all around by turning their heads 180 AND are the only invertebrates capable of 3D-vision, though they lack coloured vision :/ BUT MORE SEEING!! if not head, cricket legs just because I want to jump around instead of walking.

okay I finished eating so I can bring you some self indulgent (im studying zoology and herpetology) Uncle!Konoha thoughts.

the one time he takes baby Akaashi anywhere without the intention of meeting someone, its to the zoo, and baby Akaashi is just as obsessed with reptiles as Konoha is so when he bumps into an absolute angel who is walking through the reptile house answering questions, and is absolutely endeared by how baby Akaashi squeals with love as she presses her face against the glass of a boa's enclosure, he falls in love and may find a reason to take baby Akaashi to the zoo every chance he gets.

oh, I LOVE this!!

after having his ass handed to him multiple times now, Konoha promised Akaashi he would stop flirting with people while on babysitting duty. He promised. And yeah, he totally promised before and completely forgot about it (hoe convenient) but this time, he feels like hes threading too close to having his time with babygirl being cut off short, and he loves her too much to let that happen, so he makes good on his promise.

And the first half of the zoo visit goes by smoothly. His full focus is on baby Akaashi and how adorable she is when she gets excited about all the animals!! Not to mention how cute she is, when babbling to the other kids nearby some random trivia Uncle Aki told her about the animals they're seeing (no, he totally didn't read that from the little information panel in front of every exhibition pfff)

That is until the reptiles exhibition. Thats when Uncle Aki SHINES.

On the way there he tells her the coolest things he knows, dumpingall the info he collected during his reptile nerd years. Its easy to see how his excitement bleeds through baby Akaashi, she's jumping up and down, stars in her eyas as uncle Aki talks, until one point it turns into too much excitement for a such a tiny body and shes dashing from his side and to the snakes exhibit.

Of course he hurries behind her, sighing in relief the moment he spots her in a crowd of other kids around the same age. But baby Akaashi stands out, giddily greetin the Boa Constructor and her squishing against the glass enclosure. Konoha calls her name to grab her attention and is completely ignored, but he can't find it in his heart to be mad about it. Instead, he starts to make way to her.

Thats when he notices you, makijg him stop in his track if only for a brief second. You look like an absolute angel and if the endearment in your voice when talking to baby Akaashi is anything to go by, you actually might be one.

Konoha has to shake the dumbfounded expression off his face when his niece points at his direction, making you, and the rest of the mini-humans crowd, look at him. Turns out that baby Akaashi kept interrupting what you were saying with her own impressively accurate facts about Boa Constructors, making you crouch down and compliment her on how much she knew about it and she lets you know that uncle Aki told her aaaaaaall about snakes and lizards and—

She goes on a monologue about reptiles and how awesome they are, but Konoha can't focus on what shes saying when your eyes flicker between Baby Akaashi and him. Oh, your eyes, the way you smile up at him when his niece tell you that uncle Konoha is the coolest. God, you might be the prettiest thing he's ever seem.

He tries to say something, get her attention so she stops interrupting the guided visit but his mind is coming up blank. And then it fully short circuits when you say to an giddy baby Akaashi: "Well, your Uncle Aki seems like a really cool guy. Why don't you two join us for the rest of your visit?"

And he is left utterly humiliated when his 5 year old niece and her yelled out "yay" is more eloquent at answering you than he is. Really, any other response beside a sheepish smile and a stuttered out "yeah, that'd be cool" would be fine and not make him look lie a complete fool. You don't seem to mind though, shooting him a sweet smile whenever baby Akaashi raises her hand to ask question during the rest of the guided visit. And she is Keiji's daughter, so there were a lot of questions.

At the end of the visist, when they go to thank you for letting them join in, Konoha is phisically itching to shoot you one of his best lines to get your number. But one, he has a feeling his usual charm wouldn't quiet land with you and, more importantly, two, he made a promise to Akaashi. So, he and baby Akaashi bit their goodbyes and despite the ridiculous amount of reptile themed merch hes carrying on his way out, he feels like hes leaving empty handed.

Its only when he and Baby Akaashi reache his car, thta Konoha's gloom demeanor brightens up as she asks him if they could come see the snakes next time. "Yeah, that'd be cool", he tells her with a smile.

in relation to 'Beauty' as a concept, I personally subscribe to the prescriptivist pov. "Prescriptivism is a metaethics view that moral judgments are prescriptions and have the logical form of imperatives. Linguistic prescription, or prescriptive grammar, is the establishment of rules defining preferred usage of language, such as spelling, pronunciation, vocabulary, syntax, and semantics."

in a nutshell, this means that rather than saying "beauty is good" or "beauty is bad" outright, it's that we (as humans) more generally speak about a subject (in this case it's Beauty) and we assign it a moral value, even if the subject itself is entirely subjective.

the subject is devoid of any objective morality, but the way people speak about the subject assigns it a moral value—just like Rimbaud in that quote.

Prescriptivism acknowledges that, people being people, we tend to assign arbitrary or inconsistent beliefs to concepts that, in themselves, have no moral value. even one singular person can refer to one singular subject in a way that outright contradicts one another (which is logically hypocritical, even if that person's feelings are valid/justified).

tldr: humans assign subjective concepts morals which they deem 'objective', even if they are contradictory, because we use feelings as justification and feelings are often contradictory. the 'morality' of Beauty is quite literally in the eye of the beholder. subjects like Beauty often inspire people to sway towards certain morals because It evokes certain feelings.
