I have neither doc file nor faceclaim ready, but I’ve got a lot of hubris and also love for the guy, so hit the heart (and mumus specify muse) if you’d like me to throw Su.pe.rg.iant Ga.mes’ Ha.des’ Zagreus at you. For those unfamiliar, a brief synopsis below the cut.

Player character of Greek Mythology-based sexy-ass rougelike by Supergiant Games ‘Hades’, one of my all-time favourite games and I HIGHLY recommend you play it too if you ever get the chance, it is ALIVE, it is charming, it’s beautiful, the writing is everything, the voice acting is incredible, Darren Korb put his entire pussy into so many parts of this game (I’ve even seen a video where the devs mentioned he’s also got the best time when it come to speedrunning it in the office like who is this guy), but that aside, Zagreus.

Son of Hades stuck in the Underworld, with one goal in mind (until you start talking to the side characters and get obsessed with forging bonds and reuniting lovers and romancing literal death and the first of the furies, what the hell is Zagreus’ type what the HELL- oh and also sending Dusa queerplatonic kithes, MWAH): getting out to the surface and finding his mother, Persephone, to figure out why she left the underworld and abandoned him because no one who might know will fking tell him at home, so off we go.

An oddity amongst deities, Olympian and Chthonic alike (yknow his parentage kinda dips in both), Zagreus bleeds red and can die, he just doesn’t stay dead, constantly spit back out by the river Styx he seems eternally bound to. Trained in all sorts of combat by the Greatest of the Greeks, Achilles (my dad), himself, he must put both his pseudo-immortality and training to use to kill wretches in Tartarus, wretches in Asphodel, heroes in Elysium, cultist satyrs and fucking rats in the Temple of Styx, and then his old man himself on the surface, to finally reach his mother and figure out why the fuck he’s been told he’s Nyx’s son for all his life.

Huge heart, sassy as FUCK, very appreciative of kindness extended to him, a great shit-talker if you cross him, a bisexual moronic bottom, who mostly just wants to spread love and have good times and is constantly trying to pick other people up and downplaying the fact that he keeps being killed atrociously.

I don’t know what else to say without putting down everything you can do in Hades, WHICH IS A LOT so I won’t do that, but yeah. If that’s not enough, I am so sorry, I have no idea how anyone is supposed to understand anything from this

hi all! just some housekeeping on this blog as i have about 30+ new followers here and it's been a hot minute so i just wanted to check in as its been 2years:

i post a lot of plotting & starter calls because, if we're mutuals, it means i want to write with you! you aren't bothering me if you send a meme or several. you aren't being annoying if you send me multiple ims here or on disco. i like to be 'bothered'.

please note that this has been a rule for forever on my blog: if we become mutuals and we do not interact at least once in the first two weeks of following, i typically soft block and move on. this includes a quick ooc chat, starting a plot or thread, sending one another memes, etc. if i don't hear from you at least once in that time frame, i'll assume you're busy (which is fine!) but i like to keep my dash small for a reason. i don't F4F; i'm only interested in following who i'm actively pursuing plots/writing with atm.

i am an active writer! the more we discuss our muses or send stuff to one another, the most invested i am in our threads. i tend to get back to threads faster if we are chatting (even just in tags!)

i don't do 'mains' (or exclusives, i'm an oc, there's no benefit to this for me) so do not be offended if i never like your main calls. if you're my 'main', then you'll know, because we talk all the time 😅

FOURTEEN. I’m super interested in throwing the Doctor into all sorts of crossovers. I am familiar with Good Omens, much of the MCU, Legend of Zelda (BOTW + TOTK), Fire Emblem (3H), the Borderlands Franchise, IT (Stephen King), Detroit: Become Human, Baldur’s Gate 3, DnD 5e, Lucifer, & more.

FIFTEEN. I will not ship with anyone unless our characters have some sort of chemistry going on & we have had words about it ooc. It's unlikely to happen but not impossible. I will not write romantic ships with anyone under 18. I also don’t really want to ship the Doctor with any muse who isn’t at least 22. While both mun & muse are of age, there will be no smut on this blog. The Doctor really could not be bothered— they’re ace.

SIXTEEN. This blog is multiverse, so unless otherwise discussed between muns, all interactions with different blogs are considered to be separate universes, so to speak.

SEVENTEEN. I probably won’t be reblogging many ask memes here because I always end up accumulating too many & getting overwhelmed. The best way to interact is by liking starter calls or by plotting! ☀ What's your rp pet peeve?

I have a few, so in no real particular order

Dropping threads/not replying to starters without saying anything. I try to be communicative about things when I can (although I'm sure I don't always succeed) and I'm happy to make changes, or move things in a particular direction, do a timeskip, location change, whatever if the need is there. What I can't do anything about, though, is when someone drops a thread with me or sees a starter I wrote for them and decides not to respond without saying anything to me.

It puts me in a state of like "are they gonna reply? should I send them a message or would that be bothering them? if I send in a meme or like their starter call, will they be annoyed because we already have something and they're just working on it? I understand that not every thread can continue for 40+ replies, and not every starter is a 10/10 out the gate, but I can't know what's up if people won't tell me.

Blatantly ignoring easily-available information (especially for ship purposes). This doesn't happen too much anymore, but it used to happen with some frequency, where people who I barely knew, or hadn't written with much, would pitch me on things that contradicted some of the most basic things on my muses' pages. There's a lot to read and everyone makes mistakes on things sometimes, that's not really an issue, but, for example, on some of my other blogs there was a small pattern of people trying to pitch m/f ships for my lesbian characters, when my character's sexuality was like the third line from the top on my page.

Way too much OOC content. People can run their blogs as they like, and it's not my right to tell people what they can and can't do, however, something that personally drives me a little crazy is when I see a new RP blog that will make upwards of like ten posts a day that are aesthetic posts, OOC life updates, shipping calls, memes, and other miscellaneous posts, while answering IC memes or writing threads maybe extremely infrequently. I remember on another blog following someone, and at the point where I softblocked them, they were making three or four posts a day, without fail, and yet I had to go back over two months to find IC content. It's just not really compatible with how I like to handle my experience.

Blog hopping. I understand that there are valid reasons to archive or delete a blog and remake it, but occasionally I have seen people go through like a blog every month or two, or go from having a single-muse blog, to putting their character on their multi, to making a new single-muse, to remaking the multi and putting them there again, to putting them on a single-muse again, etc. etc. The explanation that I often hear is that people want a clean slate, or things got too crazy, they want to get away from some problem, or something like that, but then they will keep the same URL, the same aesthetics, re-follow all the same partners, keep the same ships, etc.

The analogy that I use is like, if you have bedbugs, moving to a new apartment but bringing the old frame, mattress, and bedding is not going to help you. Sooner or later you're going to have the same problems again. For me, as well, it's a struggle to keep up with past threads or interactions, conversations that might have been had in IMs, etc. if they're spread out across lots of different blogs. It's just not really an impulse I understand, and I find it disruptive, especially when consistently paired with dropping all threads and wanting to start new threads with the same characters.

if you don't show any interest in my blog after several weeks (ie. liking posts, commenting, or sending asks), i will eventually soft block.

i do not make starter calls. the best way to get something out of me is to send asks of memes i reblog / plot together. ✌️

i don't have an interest in interacting with those oc's with [name] parker to replace / genderbend peter in other universes. nor do i have an interest in interacting with children (oc's or not, apologies to any benjy or mayday's) of already established characters. i'm sure they're great, but that's not something i want to explore.

i write peter as a grey - aromantic bisexual man with adhd. i'm not interested in shipping or anything similar. but i'm open if i have a good relationship with the mun. i don't mind flirting in or out of the suit, it's fun even if he is awkward. despite getting back with mj, they decide it's best to remain friends post spider - man 1.

my knowledge for comics is limited but that doesn't mean i won't do research. that said, i don't mind if your verses are primarily / exclusively in said setting, it'll be fun to explore and discuss anyways. howevs, i do have an atsv verse being a part of the spider society for a fun time if that tickles your fancy.
