Vanitas reached out to Celeste, then pulled back. She was hyperventilating and panicking and all the fun stuff humans do when they're scared.

He didn't know what to do.

"Uh, there there?" he tried, raising Scribbles to pat her on the head.

Scribbles kept her distance. She wanted nothing to do with this man anymore. Stomping her hind leg in disagreement with his words, she bounded off in the other direction, searching for her master. She had left Xehanort behind.

Xehanort lifted an eyebrow eventually to stare towards the Unversed's spot. "Even as I am cruel to your master.." he whispered, slight sarcasm dripping into his tone all the while. "..I do have ... a small fondness for at least the occasional Unversed. For those who I don't immediately slaughter." ..It was always strange to see, especially as their relationship had shifted just the slightest bit upon him being re-completed and all.

Freddy timidly peaked into the living room area. Celeste had told him when he was ready, he could join her and Vanitas in there. That she won't let anything happen to him and he was safe in the apartment.

The tv was on, playing some random anime. The currents were opened to Twilight Town, letting the sunlight naturally light the apartment. All in all, the main floor was cozy.

Celeste smiled at him and waved Freddy over to the island in the kitchen. Slowly, Freddy made his way over, taking up one of the stool. Celeste slide him a plate of toast and eggs to him. Freddy muttered his thanks. After a long moment, he finally took a bite of eggs, chewing slowly.

Celeste wrapped her magic around her twin, warm and gentle.

"Take your time. We do have a few questions, though, once you finish up."

Scribbles hopped up onto the table and sniffed at Freddy, curious about the new person. The other Unversed (with exception for Andrenidae) was hanging around the room, but only Scribbles was brave enough to come closer.

Vanitas, despite not visibly there, was indeed nearby. Very close, actually. Specifically hiding within Freddy's shadow. He waited until Freddy was settled before appearing behind him, body shrouded in darkness.

After a heartbeat or two, he was finally reformed back into the visage most knew him by.

"A lot of questions."

"Sure, whatever," he mutters, turning to walk back into the cave. "I have some things to grab before we leave."

He stops mid-step and whirls around, pointing at Star. "And don't fuckin pet it! It feels weird!"

Unversed had an emotional connection to him. Anything they felt, he felt. And when they were pet, it was like feeling a positive emotion so foreign to him it was uncomfortable.

"Ah, so you're a weakling too," he mused tastelessly, still very much not showing anything related to positivity.

At the prospect of having her power back in spring, Vanitas grew insecure and very much angry. There was no telling if he'd have his powers back....ever.

He looked down at Star with an angry glare. Then he threw the Flood at her.

"Then you're in charge of that thing."

Scribbles dipped her paw into the lemonade and licked it. She couldn't taste it but could only assume it was good. After all, it was cold, and cold drinks were best.

She wished Master would drink more cold drinks.

"You want some?"

She grabbed a spoon, dipped it into her drink, and offered the spoon to Scribbles to try.

"There you go, Scribbles. I don't know if you can taste it, though."

A 14.6ft tall dragon had curled up beside a flower bed in Radiant Garden. Though it was too out of season for more than grass to grow there. Sonari's paws and lips twitched as she dreamed a nightmare.

She was in her childhood form, running away from an unseen threat on a constant circle of a path. Then suddenly the ground melted into an ocean and she fell through. She clawed and kicked to no avail as she sunk deeper underwater but she could not drown either. Eventually her sinking stopped somewhere between the surface and the seafloor; unable to touch anything. She cried out for help but was never heard. Then she looked down at herself and noticed she'd grown up to her current age. Only then did the claws of a Heartless impale her from behind and she woke up from the dream.

In her fright, she accidentally smacked Vanitas in the jaw with one of her wings.

"Ow! Fuck!" he yelled, grabbing at his face before lightly slapping her wing. "What the hell was that for!"

He knew she probably didn't mean it, but he couldn't help being mad anyways. Scribbles dashed around Sonari, taking in all the darkness from her nightmares.

"Bad dream I take it?" he asked.
