PLOTS OR MEMES: Both! I typically lean into sending memes because it's an icebreaker when I meet new people. :3 Also it doesn't require much brainpower. I do like to plot and send unprompted stuff after a bit of time of getting to know people.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: Long replies is my go-to because there is so much I want to say! But lately, I feel like I'm writing too much unnecessary details and losing track. experience in RP — I started rping through emails in middle school, then through Yahoo Messenger... I started on Tumblr in my last year of high school, so I've been on this site specifically for over ten years.

best experiences — just, meeting a bunch of really cool people who are as excited to get to know my take on the characters as I am excited to get to know their takes on the characters. I wouldn't have stayed on this site without them.

pet peeves / dealbreakers — demonizing other characters to add extra angst points (like, making an antagonist a ra.pist when nothing would have suggested that in canon), forcing your own interpretation of my characters on me. Assuming things about my characters can also be quite annoying lol

muse preference ( fluff, angst, smut ) — I definitely like angst and fluff both, but I don't write smut on this blog at all. Vanitas is definitely a pretty dark character and I'm willing to go into dark topics with him, but I usually prefer to keep to the vibes of the series itself. Vanitas will be Kingdom Hearts Dark, not The Evil Within Dark, okay?

plot or memes — both! I will admit that people I've plotted with already will have an easier time getting things started with me through memes, but that's definitely no reason not to try! I always get happy seeing new people in my inbox.

long or short replies — I have trouble with this question because I feel like everyone has a different definition of what a long or short reply is. I'm definitely writing longer replies than I have before, but... idk, do YOU guys think my replies are long? I just try to go with the vibe of what my partner is doing.

best time to write — My days off on Monday night and Tuesday night are when I get the most done, but I also sometimes write at work. It all depends on my mood and how busy I am, tbh.

Please note: The section I added about "my muses being in inauthentic relationships" is not due to anything anyone has recently done. I felt I needed to say this because I didn't want anyone getting the idea that they had. It's something that has happened in the past, and I don't want for it to happen again because of how this dynamic was abused. It unfortunately created a negative experience for me that I don't wish to repeat. What it boils down to is communication between you and me - that is literally all it takes for me to be okay with the dynamic. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

⭐ Stuff I am NOT comfortable with roleplaying

Let me preface this by stating that I do understand the separation of fiction and reality. I understand that fiction is a place where people may safely explore themes that wouldn’t be okay to do in real life and that it does not reflect who you are as a person. However, the below subjects are personal icks for me, so I’d like to avoid roleplaying them. You may roleplay them on your blog and I have no issue with seeing it on my dash. That is all fine. It’s just that I personally am not interested in roleplaying these topics with my muses, and I appreciate the mutual respect in this matter. Thank you!

Smut. I am not really into rping smutty stuff. Suggestive or dirty humor, implying things, flirting, mentioning it, saying it happened, asking questions about my muses’ sex lives (like in inbox ask meme games), and suchlike is all fine - just nothing overly explicit, please. I don’t mind other people rping smut and following those who do or seeing it on my dash; I am just uncomfortable rping it myself. If in any case an rp starts going in that direction, I’ll have it fade to black or skip ahead.

Excessive violence towards children. It’s okay if it’s part of a muse’s past, and in threads I am also okay with some angst and general childhood things like skinned knees and the like. But I am not comfortable rping actual threads where there is excessive harm being done towards children. Also, it should go without saying, but anything of the pedophilic nature will be absolutely, 100% not tolerated and will result in an instant block if it’s even suggested.

Abusive relationships. Enemies to lovers type relationships don't fall under this category to me - it is specifically when one partner is harming the other with no healing or remorse in sight. It’s when the party/ies are enjoying hurting one another and the other clearly isn’t enjoying it is when it becomes abuse to me and when it makes me uncomfortable. Again, you do you, I have nothing against that, we’re all good, it’s just something I’m not interested in rping myself.

My muses being in inauthentic relationships WITHOUT MY CONSENT. This doesn’t necessarily apply to romantic relationships - this is speaking of ALL kinds of relationships, including and especially friendships. This dynamic unfortunately has been sprung on me and my muses ad nauseam, especially with Thursday, to the point where I am not really interested in tolerating this any longer. This is referring to relationships where your muse doesn’t actually consider mine their friend - they are only calling them a friend for ulterior motives, to use them, because they need them for something, etc. Please, no more of this, unless we talk it over extensively in advance and it’s something we both 100% agree on. My consent is the key here. I do not mind doing plots and muse dynamics where there is a disingenuous relationship between your muse and mine - it’s that I do not like when it is presented as a genuine friendship at first, only for my writing partner to turn around later and tell me “Oh no, my muse doesn’t actually like yours, they’re just using them,” or for their muse’s actions to show something completely different. At that point I consider the relationship abusive and being done under the table to boot, so I will likely be coming into your DMs to talk about it.

If you want a rec... hm, well, it's not a "rec" per se, but I'm sure you see me posting a lot about it, so I figured I'd explain what the Dream SMP is just for clarity's sake. ^^;

So, to quote tumblr user existentialterror: "The Dream SMP is a private multiplayer Minecraft server. A bunch of Twitch/Youtube streamers roleplayed on it regularly from 2020-2022. It grew a 'plot' based on improv which later became somewhat scripted in advance. There are arcs, seasons, worldbuilding, and factions."

I personally describe it to people as this strange, unholy mix of Game of Thrones, Homestuck, and Loony Tunes, but it manages to still be compelling somehow despite all its many flaws (the story could have seriously benefited from having whatever the Minecraft RP version of a Dungeon Master is, that's all I'll say about it). It's also the single most nuanced and fascinating study of morality and perspective I've ever seen in a fictional medium (one that was absolutely wasted on its target audience because a lot of people - especially younger people - aren't capable at looking at stories through an objective lens anymore), because the DSMP has no single main protagonist. Every character is the "main character," and their story intertwines and intersects with the other characters', creating a vast web of character conflicts and interactions. A character can be the flawed hero of their own story, and a despicable villain from another character's POV. A silly little guy to one character, and the worst person imaginable to another. Basically, "Villain" by Stella Jang is the DSMP theme song. And I think that's neat!

Characters include:

A violent anarchist pigman who somehow manages to be the most open-minded and based character in the entire series.

A sentient slime monster who pretends to be human by saying things like "I have so many bones! I have like 300 bones in me like everyone else!" and "Hello, fellow meat brother!"

An anthro fox who suffers from prophetic nightmares and serious daddy issues.

A sweet, silly demon who spends half the series being a chaotic menace and the other half either being mind-controlled into a cult leader or being traumatized by what he did under the influence of said mind control.

A former king who spends most of the story sleeping to escape from the crushing disappointment of reality and who reshapes his dreams into what he wants reality to be courtesy of a deity he befriends while there.

best experience: Getting asked and venturing into trying a new muse was an honor. I had seen Tim being played by a few others and admired him from afar, but I have always been more drawn to darker muses, so this was a bit of a challenge for me since I did not know a lot about him when I started out. Everyone was patient. @prettysuper has been there to support me when I felt I was not grasping him well, and we ended up creating a pretty amazing story of our own that I just adore and am always excited to explore <3. The community is pretty awesome and I am so grateful for them accepting a newb like me to tumblr play! Dash games when everyone gets into it is the best thing I have ever seen here.

rp pet peeves/deal breakers: Ignoring my character unless it was talked about as part of the dynamic. If my character took the time to address yours so they could invest in the conversation and there is no response back, it irks me as a writer who also took the time to think about that post and how to insert them into the scene. I do not have many deal breakers, but I am not a fan of someone assuming that my character is a sure way purely by Comics. I get it, this is a character that is not an original and was established, but the point of us being here is to write our own versions where DC has numerously fucked up stories for their own cowardness. Ask, I love answering. Or simply interact and learn! 

fluff, angst, or smut: All, fucking BONUS if you can mingle all three into a scene -sips tea- I am a heavy investor in realism when it comes to playing, and shit gets messy in real life; it should in rp too. Fluff should have some interruptions, angst should have a teary smile or ignorance, smut should have failure to actually have sex after trying or a good time turning sad because of a trigger or insecurity. Real people go through this, so should characters. It really adds layers to them that start to make a uniqueness. 

plots or memes: memes. I love plots, but sometimes I am a bit burned out. Memes are something I always enjoy and throw around on Dash!

long or short replies: Long are favored. I enjoy having a lot to work with and do not mind the rambling of another writer so long as it is viable things and not bullshit for the sake of length. Short are great for days when our brains go ‘wut’ but we want interaction or a distraction. It was really hard to come to Tumblr from an RPG form where people wrote seven paragraphs to see people doing one-liners here. I am used to it now, even do it myself but it was def an adjustment!

best time to write: Any. Seriously, I am always around. Now my favorite time to write is at 2am when everyone in the house is quiet, I can put my headphones on and turn the music up loud as hell to just vanish into the scene. 

are you like your muse: HAHAHA no. Absolutely not. Well, we share Autism aspects, but this version ended up sensitive and sad in a way due to putting the background of therapy heavily on him. My characters have a funny way of taking the wheel and developing themselves after I give them snippets of myself to have a connection so I can move them around. Tim is nothing like me. HOWEVER, his boyfriend, Kon, is a good deal like me. Shameless, loud, no fucks to give, protective. So it is hella wild to try and play a character who dates someone with a lot of similar traits like myself. (I am so sorry to all my exs but you all knew what you were getting into)
