dim lights, dance floor, white button up, pretty eyes, strong movement. it's beauty in the arts, it's beauty in the form of a boy, it's beauty in atticus han's eyes when he watches from some dark corner of the practice room. captivated. entranced. steely, dark eyes of his own trailing after every defined move; the way addy's shoulders outlined under the stark studio-esque lights that sparsely dotted the room.

he's a little forlorn maybe. a little jealous to know that he wouldn't be able to keep up, to do more than simply admire from his standing place.

his eyes trail after the necklace that adorned a pretty neck, laid so nicely against sharp collarbones outlined by the silhouette of the dancing boy. how the black tank contrasted so prettily with pale skin, marred only by both fading and fresh marks of blue and purple. atticus' handiwork, 'course.

addy's gorgeous. is the only thought that swims behind hard eyes; a side effect of a heart beating to a lovestruck tempo.

but atticus stays glued to his place— until the flash of addy's arm catches his attention and he couldn't quite stay still any longer.

with large strides, atticus covers ground fast. and with strong arms, he doesn't hesitate to stop his boy mid-choreography, pulling the other in by an arm around the waist.
