.𖥔 ݁ ˖ A SRC is a chart that is yearly, it's a chart that tells how your year will go. It is literally where your sun goes back into its natal sign (so your sun sign).

.𖥔 ݁ ˖ As you may have understood, because it comes back every birthday of yours, it usually come back the day before or the day of your birthday. And it goes until next birthday.

.𖥔 ݁ ˖ A year for SRC: Your birthday of this year until the day before your birthday next year.

.𖥔 ݁ ˖ It will tell you about the year to come, big events, changements, etc. How you evolve with time.

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽ What is Solar Return Composite? ☾₊‧⁺˖⋆

.𖥔 ݁ ˖ It is based on the same thing as a Solar Return Synastry but with composite mode.

.𖥔 ݁ ˖ You take two Solar Returns date of two people. And you put Composite instead of Synastry.

This challenge was written by my sister and I!

"In the Name of the Moon" is a legacy challenge that is inspired heavily by Sailormoon! I love sailormoon and have noticed a bunch of other simmers also love this magical story, so I thought I'd write up a lil challenge to add some new and creative way to play your sims!

General Rules:

Do you best to max out each skill assigned, complete the aspirations and reach the top of your career!

Each generation has a challenge that matches the sailor scout the generation is based off of. It is up to you on whether or not you'd like to try them, but I thought it would be a fun way to add some drama or help you in story creation.

HAVE FUN! do what you want! While the generations have their own requirements, ultimately, this is your game and your story! This challenge is to help outline it for you and give you some new ideas. IDC what you choose to do whether it be cheating, using mods, or whatever the heck LOL

Generation 1: Sailormoon

~Biographical Stuff~

CJ "Christopher John" was born in Asbury Park — a home birth as it was, Nina Emhoff always wanting a water birth - having seen Pamela Anderson at the time had had two by then, just once she wanted that experience. Scott Emhoff though; absent. Another world market crash, gain, brokerage deal, late nights with the clients in NYC, who really knew.

That alllmost setting the tone for life ahead - Nina, founder and CEO of New Emerald Health & Life. With wellness retreats spanning the East Coast, breaking into the South American market currently where Nina lives with her new life partner in Mexico City. Scott - Finance bro. Through and through (Watch Industry? He is Eric) on his third wife, spends the majority of his time in the office and his loft in New York City when he's not entertaining clients.

CJ has two younger sisters — one just graduated college, one in high school currently. (May make one a WC so will keep the background vague) He's pretty close to both.

CJ was a star athlete, nabbing a soccer scholarship (though he definitely didn't need it) to UConn. Rushed & joined Alpha Sigma Phi Frat, all was looking good.

During winter break his Sophomore year back in Asbury, CJ was out partying with old friends and stupidly got behind the wheel. Driving the windy coastal road from Long Branch there was an accident. Both drivers were intoxicated and only one survived. CJ walked away with his life and a broken leg, broken collar bone and ribs.

a fairly big legal battle ensued, but as it goes, CJ comes from money. The accident with the potential to garner more attention, was kept at bay to his parents contacts. A judge in the family finagaling a light sentence— (keeping the victim and family vague for potential WC) CJ walking away with six months house arrest and probation, and 300 hours of community service.

Dropping out of UConn, CJ was housebound.

Rehab, court requirements, time passed slowly then really quick. Life happened, moved on. Not without plenty guilt, and a mini stint in a facility when painkillers were too good.

CJ moved out to the pool house that became his future and current residence to this day.

Eventually, his parents divorced, he got a new stepmom who lives in the main house permanently with his youngest sister.

Once the knee was rehabbed he picked up a job at Neptunes Surf & Co. to teach tourists and the milf's of Asbury's children how to surf. While his knee never will be 100%, he's gotten very comfortable in his current situation. He loves surfing, the ocean, his pool house. ~Random Stuff~

He has an accent, a "Jersey accent" not super thick but noticeable to outsiders.

Discovered he's outdoorsy-lite. When he couldn't surf he was introduced to camping - not a man of the woods per say lol but he enjoys acting like it.

Fodlan Magic

Alright what I've found:

Faith/Reason

Faith (white) and Reason (black) magic are different in practice. Faith is powered by... well, faith, whether that be in a higher power or someone else. It can also be used for healing. Two examples of this are closing up wounds faster and raising a body's vital energy.

Reason magic is far more offensive and involves the manipulation of different elements. You do not need faith to use Reason magic, although Lysithea does hypothesize that reason, while necessary, cannot result in true understanding without a little faith... whatever that means.

Both of them are things that you have to study. You can have a talent for it, but Annette's support with Sylvain tells us that there are formulas involved.

Despite all these differences, Faith and Reason both have the same magic circle.

Class Change

As you can see, there is text on the outer ring. If I am correct, this text says:

"The goddess always lives in heaven and Fodlan. She is watching over us. As the mother of all living beings. As support of all mindful things."

It is also unlikely that this text was created by the Church of Seiros. An amnesiac Sothis in the beginning of the game will have the exact same text on her own magic circle, but that could be an oversight.

The words on the ring below appear to be Binah, Netzah, Keter, Gevurah, Yesod and Tif'eret. These are sephiroths on the kabbalistic Tree of Life.

Keter = Kether, Netzah = Netzach, Gevurah = Gebuhar, Tif'eret = Tiphareth

The symbols on the larger circles are are Uranus (♅), Jupiter (♃), and Mercury (☿). Uranus is Daath, Jupiter is Chesed, and Mercury is Hod.

They show up when you are showing off a crest.

Interestingly, they do not show up when Edelgard reveals her Crest of Flames.

The user's crest will show up in the middle of the circle. If the user has no crest, it will be empty.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to reference the symbols between each sephiroth

The symbols in the smaller circles are the Sun (☉︎), Moon (☾) and Venus (♀). The Sun is Tipharet, the Moon is Yesod, and Venus is Netzach. They are connected to form a triangle.

The only sephiroths not accounted for are Chokmah (Neptune) and Malkuth (Earth). The absence of Chokmah might indicate a lack of wisdom, while the absence of Malkuth could mean that the magic is more connected to the divine than to the physical world.

The text talking about the goddess, and the abscence of Malkuth (the physical realm), could all mean that Faith/Reason directly originates from Sothis.

Dark magic

Dark magic is very different from Faith and Reason, to the point that it has its own magic circle. Finding clear pictures of this is nearly impossible, but this is what I have been able to get so far:

I have not been able to get a full view of the text on the outer rings, but it seems to be a mathematical formula.

The circles containing the symbols are all the same size, unlike with Faith/Reason magic. The symbols are letters in the Greek alphabet:

Delta (δ): the 4th letter, representing change and difference.

Theta (Θ): the 8th letter, which is connected to thought, intellect, reasoning, and mental processing.

Xi (ξ): the 14th letter which... doesn't seem to have a specific symbolic meaning. It can be used in mathematics to represent a variable or unknown quantity.

Chi (Χ): the 22nd letter, symbolizing life force, energy, and sometimes vitality.

Psi (Ψ): the 23rd letter, associated with psychology and spiritual matters.

Omega (Ω): The last letter, symbolizing the end. The Alpha, or "beginning," could be Sothis.

In the middle of the circle there is a triangle with an eye over it. It looks similar to the Eye of Providence or the All-Seeing Eye.

This eye shows up in Thales's design as well.

You might've recognized the Eye of Providence as the symbol for the "Illuminati," but it actually finds its origins in Christianity, where it is a symbol of God's omniscience and providence.

The Agarthans may not worship Sothis, but we know they had their own religion. Their book talks about Thinis, where the old gods were supposed to dwell. The wording implies that Sothis awakening there was a betrayal, as it went against their religion. Perhaps this eye is connected to those "old gods."

All in all, dark magic seems to originate from the Agarthans. They are supposed to be technologically advanced, so their magic having tons of mathematical formulas makes sense.

TLDR: Dark magic = math, Faith/Reason = our lady and savior

Bilbo and Thorin make up on Thorin's deathbed 😭 (probably the most emotional part tbh).

Final Thoughts: I would play this movie in the background on a very lazy Saturday Morning. I haven't read the book yet but I feel like so much was left out. I made sure to leave comparisons to the live adaptations at the door. With that out of the way the movie felt incredibly rushed and weirdly paced. If you squint hard enough you can see the charm the movie was going for. 3.5/10.
