he froze up at the question... friendship was a complicated thing for nagisa from birth. as a young kid his mother's abuse melted into his personal life due to her clothing choices and grooming of him. the only person that talked to him, was when he was finally eleven other than sugino... and that was karma. his hair was still long but, he was allowed to wear pants instead of skirts now, and he felt a little less... gross about being around people.

but even that didn't last long, there was a bloodlust deep in nagisa that hid under his skin, brewing, waiting to be fostered. he hid under the radar and snuck up on karma once, and that got him to be afraid of nagisa... scared of whatever was trying to surface. and he ditched him, didn't talk to him for most of the second year they were in... maybe defended him once or twice, but not much.

and in the third year he was in now ?? friends... he didn't talk to any of his classmates before koro-sensei took over the class. when it was aguri... the kids had no hope, walked in with their heads down and tried to get through the day. but the second koro-sensei came in... something changed, they were all drawn a little bit closer and closer, month by month, bullet by bullet, stab by stab. sure, the first few months were rocky and some of them were at each other's necks, hey, even one of them tried to get nagisa to sacrifice himself and it almost worked.

but... would they be all like this if it weren't for murder bringing them together against his will ?? no, no he knew none of them except sugino would still be around him, since karma and him were his only friends. a sad smile worked its way onto his features, looking away for a moment as words forced past lips he tried to keep shut.

the young assassin had found himself in quite a compromising situation on the way home, did these guys know if they roughed up the kids that the bounty was void ?? it seemed like they didn't care... his mouth was bleeding for sure, cuts on the inside from the impact from the fist against his teeth. nose might be broken, for sure it was coating the white button up and vest he had on. one of his fists was broken from the person he was fighting grabbing it and crushing it pretty good. breaths were labored, he didn't break any ribs this time but a few good punches for sure took the wind out of him.

hand pressed onto the side of the building he was next to... hands barely keeping still as well, the shock setting in a bit from the broken hand he had. eyes snapped shut as he tried to not let his breathing speed up, trying to self regulate as the other asked him if he was okay... he tried to push through it.

words were stuck in the smaller's throat as he looked up at the other, swallowing thickly as his fist balled up. what to do... everyone in his class was practically steamrolling him in terms of muscle strength. the kid could barely do a pull up compared to even his closest friend that got a hit in on their teacher on the first day. meanwhile... nagisa tried to blow himself up as a pathetic attempt and just got yelled at after for not having any self worth.

❝ i want... to get better— ❞ he was tearing up now, threatening to slip past his waterline as he stared up still whole body tense as he thought about losing. and losing, and losing... how many times he's gotten beaten by his classmates, picking himself off the floor. countless times he's been told it's okay, that they'll get the hang of it, and that he'll come around. how many times he was going to get pittied before he had some fucking breakthrough and could do this.

13. who are five of your favorite characters? (In the rp community or otherwise)

you !!! i really really love the depth you bring into noir and really make him jump off the page and youre genuinely so sweet to talk to ooc as well and it makes me so happy youre just on my dash !!

@alternious - me and star met on like tokyo mew mew days... we’ve known each other for so long now and they mean so so so much to me. i remember writing with them for so long and i love every one of their muses. star ily we will goth party together one day with lavender... i will make sure of it.

@jaxxmulti - looks in the camera like im in the office. i love jaxx, they make me!!!! ahhh !! so happy and their writing is very good and i can see them bringing muses i love to life and we freak out over music and computer talk together... twinsies.

@mellodiies​ - screams... cries... i love him so much mello and nagisa being friends is so cute... he will get mello out of his shell and make him experience fun and new things !! clean guns together !! but is also a joy to talk to ooc as well we’re both feral but it comes with the territory.

@threedrops​ - ANDY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god i’ve known them for so long...... and i mean god some years and through so many different situations and different blogs, we don’t even write together at the moment but i will follow them onto any blog they end up on you’re never getting rid of me.

15. what sort of muses do you tend to write?

i’m not sure if i exactly have a type ??? i write a mad scientist with anger issues, children assassins, magical girls, demon characters ?? it’s kind of everywhere i’ve noticed. but they all seem have to have at least one traumatic thing that has happened to them with a hand full of maybe a few as exceptions to that.

17. do you prefer winging it or plotting everything out?

i prefer plotting out to an extent, like im bad at figuring stuff out on the jump and don’t really like first meeting stuff unless it’s planned out so it doesn’t just shut down after one interaction.

20. if you could tell your muse something, what would it be?

that trauma sucks and losing someone that meant so much to you is hard, but you’ll be okay because they wouldn’t have wanted you to be grieving over them for the rest of your life. loss is hard, but they want you to be okay.

                                  i think it’s probably the first dress he got from his mom got him ?? i really do think it was a big fight from his dad arguing with her, nagisa continuing to take it off and getting put back into it. he was for sure hit and strong handed back into it and yelled at to suck it up and that he looked pretty in it. his mom was adamant about him growing up and living life as a woman, and there was just nothing but a sinking feeling deep in his stomach on that day, a somewhat of a realization that she wasn’t going to let up on this.

                              nagisa is in fact... not an affectionate person and is a bit anxious about PDA. we can see from the valentines episodes, the kyoto episode, and the kayano identity episode that no matter what nagisa doesn’t know that people like him. he can’t find himself in a reality where people like him in a romantic way due to his perception of himself. he couldn’t tell kayano liked him when literally everyone else could, everyone. she was hospitalized and face red hiding under the covers from nagisa because all that she could do was replay the kiss he gave her to distract her from the pain of the tentacles and trying to remove them.

                              he can’t genuinely doesn’t think highly of himself enough to realize that people see him as a great person. that people want to be with him and have crushes on him and want to pursue him. karma and nakamura point that out to kayano on the valentines episode and she just gave up on it, because in the end nagisa is focusing on... assassination, himself, and his own personal growth. even at the end of the anime when we get the 7 year time skip, nagisa hasn’t contacted kayano or anyone really other than karma as we know.

                             i think it was a very negative effect on him, growing up with a mother that didn’t want you the way you came out at birth. since she always wanted a girl, forcing him into dresses and to grow his hair out, beating him and throwing him around when he objected to it. his father leaving because of his mom being so explosive and leaving him in custody of his mother. it was a lot.

                             you can tell in all flash backs that he’s meek, his grades are suffering from his upbringing and home life. he belittles himself consistently and attempts suicide in episode one even and every time he speaks he seems like he’s so used to being second rate, looked down at and stepped all over. he’s not used to love, gentle care, or having a say in anything that happens in his life. his mom saw him as a way to live out the childhood she wanted her whole life since she had to be professional and was abused by her own parents. 

                            she took it out in her own way on her son and projected the high feminine childhood on her kid that wanted nothing to do with it. she even goes as far as drugging his food at times to get her way. she single handedly takes away his rights and drugs her own kid to try and manipulate him to get her own way, and he didn’t even react as heavily as he should of in that situation. she’s made him so used to the horrid care.
