A man in a lab coat stands at a machine, seeming to be fumbling around with a control panel of sorts, a michevious and unknowing grin plastered on his face as he hums in delight, seemingly proud of himself as he steps away from the machine, grabbing his clipboard and a pen, writing on a piece of paper attached to the clip-board. He mumbled to himself as he wrote, shaking his head and seemingly crossing something out, a scowl appearing on his face as he sighs in frustration, placing the clipboard down on the desk with a frustrated look on his face as he stares up at the machine, the machine which held Jenova inside of it. The 'mother of all living things' or so they say.

He steps away from the machine, closing the door to it as he steps into the main room and heads towards his desk, sitting down and writing a few notes down on sticky papers. It was fairly quiet this evening, just him and his thoughts. But still, it was too quiet. Too quiet for his liking. So he stands up and adjusts his lab coat, beginning to wander the Lab, the heels on his shoes clicking with each step he took, and with each step he took, he heard nothing. Not a single thing. He sighs, walking back to his desk and picking up a photo. It was a photo of him, his previous wife, Starlight, and their daughter, Lock. He smiles sadly at the photo, it wasn't a sinister grin he usually gave, but rather, a genuine smile. One that's rare to see on this man's face.

But his brows quickly furrow at the painful memory of having to put an end to his wife's life involuntarily. The way she begged and pleaded to Hojo to let her live. The way her cries and sobs rang out, causing his head to fog and everything to become suddenly much louder. The memory of having to keep this hidden from his daughter for so very long. The photo in his hand crinkled a little with the way his grip tightened, tears threatened to fall from the man's eyes but he quickly shook it off and put the photo back in its place, shaking his head firmly.

I'm not sure exactly when I will make this move--perhaps when I can finally muster some inspiration to write something, which is certainly not now--but all relationships & plots will move with it, along with a handful of asks & threads. everything else will be abandoned here.

to everyone who has been waiting months & months for a response from me: I'm sorry 😔 I know that I should have been better about replying--more on top of things--but instead I let things get on top of me. As for how my day is going, it's been pretty chill so far! Not much has happened, which I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing yet, especially considering who I keep as company.

A man in a dark blue suit sits in his office seperate from all of the other Shinra Employees, at the top of the doorway it reads: "Director of Urban Living, Construction & Financial: Reeve Tuesti." The man sits alone, his head in his hands as he appears frantic, panicked and in utter despair. His brows were furrowed, appearing distressed and defeated. He takes his head out of his hands as he stands up, adjusting his coat and tie, walking out of his office, shutting and locking the door behind him as he ignored the TV which was announcing the plate which was now dropped. He headed over to the windows nearby outside of his office, paying no mind to the people who stood around, helplessly watching the Television and the events roll out in front of them. He stares straight ahead into the night shining through the window. The sky is dark and gloomy, the moon was red from the fire and smoke. Seeing such a sight made him feel ill.

He shuts his eyes tightly, staring at the ground below him, feeling his mind begin to blur and his brain become scattered. He felt dizzy. He shakes his head softly and heads over to one of the chairs in the lobby, sitting down and placing his head back into his hands once more, his fingers running through his hair constantly. The fact that he knew there was nothing he could do to stop this, the fact that he knew he had no power in this situation made him feel surrounded with guilt. He swallowed thickly, feeling a familiar lump in his throat as he listens to the murmurs and whispers coming from those around him, he felt so useless in such a situation that it was almost unbearable.
