i made it to the end of the impossible heir and it was not good. the plot was all over the place, like what was the reason for any of it? two guys meet at school and one immediately decides to dedicate his life to helping the other become CEO at his flamboyant-shirt-wearing chaebol dad's company. just cuz. and ugh the FL's acting.......WHO is she and why did they cast her

anyway i was about to stop watching and move on but then halfway through it went full makjang and jaewook got arrested for murder (circumstantial evidence at best) AND sentenced to death in a single episode which was genuinely very funny. his supposed best friend junyoung orchestrated it all!! bc he suddenly turned evil (shoutout to his psycho expressions tho i was screaming). or was he always evil? tbh i really don't know bc none of the characters make SENSE

so junyoung eventually got caught for the murders he framed jaewook for but HE got a life sentence and not death penalty. which i found perplexing but what do i know of korean law

and in the final ep when jaewook asked him why he did it he was literally like......i don't recall..... and then died in prison crying

it's a shame because the concept/plot had potential but it was done sooo badly. i did enjoy it more as it went on but only because i accepted it was bad and found entertainment in that

oh well.......another disappointing junyoung drama down, anyway
