October 7th, 2015, TAEYEON released: I - The 1st Mini Album

Taeyeon, born Kim Tae-yeon (김태연) on March 9th, 1989. She became a trainee for SM Ent. as a middle-schooler and debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls’ Generation. After being in the girl-group for 8 years and having been in the groups sub-units and made OST’s for dramas, Taeyeon wanted to make her own music. When her solo debut was announced in mid 2015 her fans expected her to do a ballad, so when ‘I’, a more pop song, was released people were somewhat shocked and the song became a commercial success. The album debuted at #2 on the Gaon Weekly Album Charts and peaked at #1 on the Weekly Billboard World Albums Chart.

June 9th, 2015, MelodyDay released their second single album: #LoveMe

MelodyDay (멜로디데이) was a girl group from 2012 to 2018. The group was formed by Cre.Ker Ent. and was initially a trio. They started out featuring on soundtracks from dramas such as I Can Hear Your Voice. In February of 2014 they maid their official debut as a idol group, and in October they introduced their forth member, making their final lineup: Yeoeun (여은), Yein (예인), Chahee (차희) and Yoomin (유민).
