i'm giving roy 5 verses ( for now ) :
i. past your prime . βΈΊ roy pushes himself until he can't push no more. he lasts another two seasons before retirement. then he focuses on life following retirement & there's a dark patch, the yoga mums help him through it though. roy becomes an open book.
ii. only if you fucking mean it ! βΈΊ roy doesn't pundit nor does he return to coach ... richmond anyways. he continues to coach the west london under 9 girls. during the off season, he finds a variety of hobbies and tries things he never had time for during his prime days.
iii. your new coach . βΈΊ the canon ending to the show. need i say more ?
iv. whistle ! βΈΊ ted stays. he remains assistant coach and jamie's personal trainer. he takes others under his wing too, it becomes a small group until it's the entire team. like an early morning dog walker, he has the entire richmond team on leashes and is doing laps with them around richmond green into sunrise.
v. gorging on fucking tapas ! βΈΊ retirement. no WLU9G and no richmond. sure, the occasional cameo but no engagement. he learns that there is a roy kent without football and he's just as fucking amazing. therapy also plays a heavy part in this too.
