🐍 While we are given a condition for the type of illness Collei has in game, I like to imagine the scales are also due to the archon residue that was sealed within her- after all the creature that it took form of when Collei released it was that of a snake. Another reason as to why Collei isn’t a fan of people touching her is that she isn’t use to kind or gentle touches- after all she had been treated poorly and roughly, which certainly didn’t help her case when the residue took root within her.

Sometimes she can still hear its voice, especially when they overexerts themselves or whenever they are dealing with negative or intrusive thoughts.

💰Pantalone is Baizhu’s older brother, the two of them grew up originally in Sumeru before their parents split. Pantalone being taken back to Snezhnaya and Baizhu being forced to stay in Sumeru. Of course Pantalone has tried to stay in contact with their brother, although he is unaware as of right now that they are no longer in Sumeru but in Liyue. However due to his informants, it won’t be long before he finally reunites with his younger brother.

🌿Baizhu couldn’t leave Sumeru for a few years as he had been unfortunate enough to be born with Eleazar, so when his parents split, he stayed within Sumeru. They knew things wouldn’t get better, but they couldn’t stay cooped up. So they packed what they could and left, hoping to find a cure in the Desert- despite how unlikely it seemed. And when they had no luck, but a new companion- they decided to make their way to Liyue to study and see if they could find a cure there.
