I wish to know: what are the fantastique feelings of kinship anyway? Is it to get teary-eyed and chill-reigned arms at depictions of your source—to have an inside view of such a spectacle? Is it to feel envyous of those who have befriended or even beloved your character in their media? Is it wanting to jump into their world and experience it as them—wanting to feel their emotions and think their thoughts?

I wish to know: am I the idea I claim to be and have? Am I the Russian stickman I place myself in? Am I the headcanon I created for my source—the hyperfixation I had for a while? Am I the music that gets stuck in my head, sung by him as a reminder to who I might be? Am I his asociality and cold-heartedness attempting to be personified?

I wish to know: did the character’s history and biography alter my self-perception? Did his introverted-ness, poor social skills, and loyalty shape my identity? Did my realization of our commonalities create a bond between us?

I wish to know: is the Ruvyzvat figure I obsess over a canon version of myself? Is the true me hidden by lies from the last [x] years?

it’s funny because i don’t know how i never truly understood my kin with Ruv. i mean, i’ve always felt super connected to the in-game song(s) by him and i even get a bit emotional just looking at him. i think what made me realize was the “headcanon” i made (which might have been me projecting myself onto him subconsciously).

either way, i guess i do feel like him. but i’m still having a tad of doubt. i don’t know.
