💙 Shuichi/Rantaro 💚

It all starts with Rantaro being an enigma that piqued Shuichi's curiousity.

Not only is there a mysterious pull with Shuichi over Rantaro, but also the other way around. There's something about Shuichi that brings out Rantaro's true self, unintentional most of the time.

Rantaro isn't used to be read so well, and it frightens him at first, but it's something he gradually realizes he needs: to have someone understand him.

Rantaro is determined to protect Shuichi at all costs, which Shuichi appreciates, but always makes sure to tell him that they are in this together and that they will protect each other.

Shuichi is one of the very few people who gets to see Rantaro's TRUE smile, and it fills him with happiness and awe.

They both bond over similar hobbies such as reading, puzzle based activities, and enjoying some peace and quiet.

When Shuichi is having his anxious, downcast moments, Rantaro's influence helps him stay more in the present and relax. In return, when Rantaro is having his own uneasy moments, Shuichi provides Rantaro with assurance and reminders to take care of himself.

Sometimes Rantaro would keep himself guarded and not reveal certain details to Shuichi in fear of worrying him or putting him in any potential danger. This adds challenge to their relationship and overall trust, but the more Rantaro learns to trust Shuichi and confine in him, the less these challenges occur.

Rantaro brings out the wise, determined side of Shuichi, and Shuichi brings out the trusting, genuine of Rantaro.

They have similar ways of expressing their love. By means of heartfelt sentiment, and unyielding support and loyalty.

Hi! Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I’m an avid reader, anime fan, and aspiring fanfiction author. 

I’ve written for several fandoms: ATLA, Black Clover, Demon Slayer/KnY, Danganronpa, Elena of Avalor, Fairy Tail, Fruits Basket, Kaguya-Sama Love is War, My Hero Academia, OMORI, Pokémon, A Series of Unfortunate Events/Snicket-Verse, and Your Turn To Die, as well as a few others (which are all listed below). I love writing about deep friendships and strong family bonds whether those be with family by blood or the family we choose and build for ourselves. The killing game ended ages ago but it felt like it was only yesterday

All the death.… all the trials… have stuck in your head and it never leaves

Rantaro knew you hadn’t stopped thinking about the experience and the fear that came with it

Normally he would comfort you when those thoughts came up…

But right now…

he… isn’t here…

“where are you…?”

You looked all around your home yet you still can’t find him

The thoughts of the killing game started to overcome every other thought you had, including where your boyfriend was

To you… he was gone…

you was hyperventilating and looking around the room frantically

Everything got too much so you just sank down to the floor

It felt like you was there again..

“no…no…no…”

you started to hallucinate…

The room you was in started to look more like the trail grounds

You hyperventilating so much that you almost passed out until you heard something loud

It sounded so real…

then you started to hear a voice

it was muffled for a bit but then it got more clear as you focused on it

“…by? baby? Can you hear me?”

you look up to see Rantaro who had a concerned look on his face

he realised you were staring at him with watery eyes

your breathing was still as rapid as it was before but you were starting to calm down

he reached for you hand and squeezed it to let you know he was there

“I’m not leaving you… I promise” he whispered to you as he rub his thumb against your palm

he held your hand tighter as he lifted it to his chest

“try and copy my breathing, baby…”

he took slow and deep breaths and you followed his actions

you was finally calm after about 4 minute, you was still a little shaky but calm none the less

he gave a soft smile as he picked you up and placed you down on your bed

you could feel the warm blankets be pulled over you as he got in the bed too

rantaro pulled you close to him and gently kissed your forehead

“We will never be trapped in that place again… sleep well, my dear”

💛 Angie/Rantaro 💚

Both parties found each other equally interesting and also mysterious at first glance, and their curiousity is what brings them closer together.

Unlike most people, Rantaro doesn't judge Angie or get too intimidated by her questionable beliefs and customs.

Angie often travels with Rantaro and even though he warns her that it could get dangerous, she still gladly accompanies him no matter the risk.

They both appreciate the present and the more simple things in life.

Angie likes to proudly introduce her boyfriend to others.

They are both one with nature.

Because of the his sisters' influences, Rantaro knows how to paint and stylize Angie's nails just right, and also braid her hair. They also present each other with flower garlands.

Rantaro considers Angie's optimistic attitude infectious, and her influence encourages him to relax and embrace a more carefree mindset when he is feeling troubled. On the other hand, Rantaro's practical and grounded influence serves as a balancing force for Angie. While she thrives on positivity and spiritual beliefs, Rantaro's rationality helps her (mostly) stay grounded in reality and consider practical aspects of situations.

While their differences compliment each other well, they could also cause problems. Rantaro's reserved nature might clash with Angie's tendency to be overly expressive and emotional, leading to misunderstandings or difficulty in effectively conveying their thoughts and feelings to each other. Rantaro's practicality and logical thinking may sometimes clash with Angie's more whimsical and spiritual approach to life. However, they work through these struggles together with sympathy and understanding.

For expressing their love, Angie is naturally inclined towards public displays of affection, openly expressing her emotions and love for Rantaro. On the other hand, Rantaro tends to be more reserved and prefers to show his affection in private, valuing intimacy and personal connection. Rantaro also expresses his love subtly through protection and loyalty, as well as showing his vulnerability in front of Angie that he doesn't with most others.
